ARC 3-2: MR SEXY VAMPIRE, BITE ME!

CHAPTER 2: FIGHT ME!

Kevin still couldn't believe his eyes. His young miss was all dressed up!

And she was actually willingly attending a banquet with other Vampires!?

He had to check that his soul hadn't flown away again.

Amelia gives him a funny look. "What's wrong? Do I look funny?"

Kevin coughs to hide his embarrassment of being seen through. "No, not at all young miss! You look beautiful in that violet dress!"

And it was true.

Amelia's dress hugged her body. The lace criss-crossed down her chest, and fades out into the skirt part of the dress. It had delicate details, and a slit to the side of her leg. Her silver hair and eyes stood out more in the darker colour.

Amelia smiles, satisfied with his response. "Then let's go. I don't wish to be late."

Kevin nods eagerly. "Yes of course!" He opens the long black car's door, and allows her to step in. He goes to the front to drive it.

The journey was long and quiet.

The countless stars in the sky, shimmering.

Eventually, the car stops in front of the gates of a secluded castle, overlooking a valley below.

This was the place where the banquet would be held.

The banquet for the vampires is a semi-formal event. At the start, they'd be dining with impeccable manners, however towards the end of the evening, the youngins will move the party to a nightclub, where everyone would let loose.

Essentially it's a party.

Kevin hurries out of the limo, to open the door for his miss.

The night breeze was cold, however because they are vampires it doesn't really effect them much.

They have sturdier bodies than humans, along with super speed and strength. Some have better healing abilities, whereas others have a special ability like seeing the future.

All types of vampires were gathered here today. And all of them were dressed impeccably.

Amelia stood in the line along with some others.

However when an elder vampire or one with status appeared, he'd be able to cut the line, much to Amelia's dissatisfaction.

Suddenly hushed whispers spread throughout the line.

Amelia frowns, as she follows their gazes.

Exiting a white limo, was a man with golden hair, and red eyes.

This was Sirius, the male lead.

He looked dashing, in his tuxedo. The buttons on his shirt was left undone, exposing his chiselled clavicle, and strong neck line.

His eyes were as bright as blood, yet mysterious like the foggy night.

His skin, a sparkly white. Mesmerising, yet inhumane.

The man glances briefly at the crowd, before helping someone else step out of the car.

Amelia grins as the girl comes into view. Her hair was a blazing red, her green eyes, sceptical of her surroundings. Her body was being hugged by a black sparkling dress, making her look appetizing under the moonlight...

Er,

Beautiful under the moonlight!

Sirius held Fiona close to him, as he escorts her into the castle, completely by-passing the line.

Amelia became antsy.

She wanted to befriend the fl, quick!

And then keep her by Sirius' side, so that she'll develop more feelings with him, instead of playing ping pong with the other lead.

Since she is already here in the vampire territory, she may as well stay.

Plus she won't suffer staying with Sirius.

He can provide for her better than any human.

"Miss, that man was like you. An ancient Vampire Lord." Kevin suddenly spoke up besides her, thinking she was nervous from seeing another powerful being. "His name is Sirius. Unlike you miss, his reputation is quite messy, as he likes to play around alot. Miss, do please stay away from him. And absolutely do not pick up any bad habits."

Amelia nods absent-mindedly to Kevin's, concern filled words. She was too busy trying to devise a way to establish contact with the fl.

Eventually Amelia and Kevin reach the front of the line. When they give their golden ticket, the ticketeer froze. His blue eyes bulge out of his sockets as he began to stutter. "M-M-Miss Amelia, Ma'am. Y-Y-You didn't have to wait in line y-you know!! T-thank you for c-c-coming!" His smile became strained as he gestures for them to go inside.

Kevin hurries to lead the way.

He had thought that since they barely interact with anyone, the vampire populace would've forgotten them. However he was wrong.

It seems his miss is still feared by them.

Well it makes sense. Otherwise if she wasn't, their territory would've been attacked by now.

The large room already held quite the plethora of vampires.

Upon entering, Amelia immediately garnered everyone's attention.

Her aura was strong.

Her presence was noble, something out of their reach. She was elegant, poised, cold, beautifully frightening.

People watched as Kevin escorted her to her seat.

Immediately whispers exploded from all over the room.

The 5 elders were especially surprised.

They haven't seen her in who knows how many years.

They glance at her then to Sirius.

These two vampires are the strongest of their generation.

Sirius is more high profile, taking over more than 70% of vampire territory.

In comparison Amelia remained on her land. Never taking over more. However if one vampire dared to step foot in her lands, they would die a swift death. Not knowing how they were killed.

She protected all of the humans residing in her 10%.

And she remained in her isolated abode deep in the woods of her territory.

Perhaps that's why the loneliness she emitted was bone chilling.

Contrary to everyone's expectations, Amelia and Sirius merely glanced at each other before continuing their separate tasks.

Sirius was showing off his new human pet.

Amelia....

Well Amelia seemed to be heading to the buffet table.

She picked up a glass, and drank.

She didn't know why, but the smell from this glass was delectable. It made her mouth water.

It was rich and sweet, like syrup. Easily going down her throat.

Kevin looked aghast with her actions. "M-miss, please do not drink anymore. You've drunken 10 cups already. People will think I don't feed you at home."

Poor Kevin. He looked pitiful with his hands politely clasped in front of him.

Amelia seemed to snap out of her reverie.

She... what did she just do?

She completely lost control of herself, to her own thirst and curiosity.

Amelia frowns.

Vampires need to exercise self control, which is why their mental strength is always so strong.

The Overseer forgot, inwardly cringing at herself.

She has a mission, and so she needs to focus.

She immediately turns around trying to spot the girl with red hair in the crowd.

It was quite easy.

Sirius was in the middle of showing off Fiona to a small crowd of excitable girls.

Fiona looked bored, as Sirius kept his arm wrapped around her waist in a possessive manner.

Amelia nods to herself, before slowly going over to them.

Sirius was the first to pick up on her presence.

He gives her a puzzled look, not knowing why she came over. He was guarded against her.

However to his surprise, he found her looking at Fiona.

Amelia held out her hand. "Amelia."

Fiona, looked shocked, as she looked at Amelia with wide eyes. She didn't react, looking confused.

Amelia smiles softly.

She liked Fiona because of a few things.

Her morals and opinion were deep. She naturally despised vampires so of course she wouldn't want to befriend them, even if her heart is in turmoil.

The Overseer found that fascinating. How she would rear her emotions in, to coincide with her thoughts.

However this means befriending her will be hard. And convincing her of her love even harder.

Still Amelia wasn't fazed. "Do you like pretty things?" Without waiting for a response, Amelia takes off her silver bracelet, putting it on Fiona's fair wrist.

The crowd was boiling in jealousy.

That bracelet is an antique, worth more than even a few cities!

Truly Amelia hoarded many treasures.

She was filthy rich.

Fiona felt calm, the bracelet seemed to effect her mood. Like magic. Perhaps there was an enchantment on it?

She wasn't sure.

However she found the pretty vampire to be strange.

She was too giving, too friendly. She didn't look at her like a zoo animal and ignore her presence like the other Vampires do. However she felt goose bumps instead, as if the woman wanted to eat her.

Her guard was immediately up!

Sirius frowns at the gift. "Hey, stop cosying up to my pet! Go find yourself another human to gift stuff to. Cause this one is mine!" He hugs Fiona protectively in his embrace.

Fiona frowns not liking what he was saying.

And Amelia also frowns. "I was being friendly." She mutters quietly.

He suddenly laughs. "More like a creep trying to poach my stuff!" He growls loudly, instantly drawing the attention of nearby vampires.

Amelia became upset at him.

This useless ML doesn't know what's good for him!

It's partly his fault the fl dies anyways. He should be grateful she chose to help him instead!!

She narrows her eyes at him.

The tension between them slowly began to climb.

"It's like you've never met a human before. Get lost. Know your place." He snorts with contempt.

For some reason his words made her furious.

He dares to be disdainful to her?

She, who's the all powerful Overseer!?

Not only was she angry, however the crowd around them were shocked.

If these two fight...

Won't the castle be destroyed!!!

Oh no!

Better stop them fast!!

The 5 elders hurry to remedy the situation. "Sirius, watch your tongue! That is Amelia of the South."

Amelia smiles coldly. "You scram, and leave the human with me. I want her."

Sirius became angry. "No way! She's mine!!"

People began to look at Fiona enviously.

Imagine being fought over by the two strongest vampires in existence?

How great would that be!

The elders wanted to intervene, however it seemed that no matter what they say, they were only making things worse.

The Overseer looked at Sirius with disdain. " Come little boy, let's take this outside. This big sister here wants to see what you're so proud of." She smirks arrogantly, her fingers itching to strangle some sense into this man.

If he continues to see Fiona as a pet, then their love would also never go anywhere.

This was the first time someone actually stood up to him. He was fuming. "Big sister? More like old hag!! Let's go. I'll teach you not to covert what's mine!"

Before things could escalate, however someone else stepped in.
