ARC 1-1: CEO, TAKE ME PLEASE!

CHAPTER 1: What a Shame

"Faith! How could you?" A hurt voice echoes throughout the courtyard, drawing the attention of nearby students.

Faith reels from the slap, opening her eyes to reveal her brown orbs with speckles of gold within.

Mary, the woman who just yelled suddenly begins to weep. Her delicate frame begins to tremble, as her long wavy brown hair falls into her face. She looked pitiful.

This made no sense!

The Overseer, should be the one crying, because as soon as she was transported into this world, she was slapped.

Faith, who's body the Overseer was using, lightly pats her now red cheek, however the crowd all seem to be sending, HER reprimanding gazes.

The Overseer rolls her eyes.

This is why she hated this world. Always on the side of such a useless fl. How is it her fault if the fl is completely useless, and gets herself attacked.

If she knew her own skill level then she must know she shouldn't be the one hugging that CEO's thigh, right?

Suddenly the supporting female lead, Abby speaks up, while hugging Mary in a comforting embrace. "How can you be like this Faith!? I thought you were our friend! So how can you scheme behind Mary's back to seduce her boyfriend??"

And of course the fl is so useless, that she needs the side kick to fight her battles for her. It was Abby who had slapped Faith afterall.

Such a weak, and pitiful fl. She truly doesn't deserve to be the hero of this world.

Abby who had screamed herself hoarse, suddenly froze from the sudden intense gaze from Faith.

Her eyes.... they were different than what she had remembered.

They were apathetic, sharp, mesmerising. The disdain within them shook her to her core. She felt her throat go dry at the unexpected pressure.

She was shook.

Suddenly another concerned voice yells across the courtyard. "Mary!! Who made you cry!?"

This was the cannon fodder, the boyfriend who Faith supposedly snatched, Kevin.

Mary looked like a frightened deer, and before he could approach her, she ran off.

Abby looked at him speechlessly.

Kevin looked heartbroken, and decided to direct his anger towards Faith. He approaches her with rapid speeds. "This is all your fault!! You vixen! Be thankful you're a girl or else I would have slapped you!" His roars could be heard from the edges of the earth! His eyes could spit fire! He spits at Faith before racing after Mary along with Abby.

Faith's smile froze in place, as the blob of saliva slowly slides down her cheek.

Disgusting!

The Overseer uses her sleeve to wipe the blob away.

She quickly realised which part of the story she was in.

It was right at the middle.

The point where the fl and ml have already met. And are beginning to cultivate feelings, however her bf was holding her back.

Faith, the malicious cannon fodder, was jealous and stupid.

She was mad at the fl for hanging out with her crush, the ml, and therefore tried to steal her boyfriend.

This was obviously doing Mary a favour.

How stupid can one get?

But after this incident, Faith would only continue to dig herself a hole as her misdeeds are revealed to the ml, finally resulting in her demise.

It's just as the overseer had thought.

The only reason why the fl will succeed, is because everyone else around her is just too malicious.

The Overseer sighs as the crowd disperses.

Well, since she has decided to intervene, she was really excited to see how she could influence the world story.

At the very least, she needed to get rid of Mary. She isn't worthy of the ml.

However the question remains....

Who is?

Oh this will be a tough choice.

She could literally mold whatever story she desires.

Well if her efforts prove fruitful.

However right now, the snowball is rolling. It'll only grow, and eventually Faith's end will come.

So the Overseer must act quickly.

Faith is a girl from a rich family. Her family has always been close to the ml's one, hence why her character acts out at the sight of the fl.

Faith is a smart girl. She practised martial arts, music, and always gets good grades.

Essentially if you were to throw her out into the world along with the fl, it's obvious which one would survive.

She isn't useless.

All the fl knows how to do is act.

If the Overseer wasn't in Faith's body, she would've been a good candidate to push onto the ml.

However it seems that that's not an option.

The car slows down outside of Faith's house, and as expected, it's a grand sight.

The Overseer smiles, recalling the countless times she's watched over this house.

Faith, enters and as expected her older brother was seated on the couch with a grumpy expression.

Just like how it usually would go.

Because at this point the rumours of Faith stealing her friend's boyfriend should have circulated.

Naturally he wouldn't be happy.

And originally he'd step in to help Faith. However this decision would ultimately destroy him. And there isn't a point to hiding anything from the ml. It'll only build up more resentment.

So they shouldn't hide what happened.

"Hey. I'm home." Faith greets.

Her brother remains silent, giving her a deep look. His eyes were an olive green. His black hair was styled to the side, showing he took close care of his appearance. Still, he was obviously unhappy, sitting with his arms crossed.

"What?" Faith plays dumb. "Why are you so silent?"

She goes to take a seat besides her brother, Erik.

Erik sighs with disappointment. "What happened today? I was hearing alot of crazy stuff. I'll give you one minute to explain yourself, or else you won't like it when I'm angry."

The Overseer smiles.

What an amusing guy. If he was female she would definitely choose to support him in getting close to the ml. Afterall, he had a good balanced head on those shoulders of his.

Choosing to hear the story from the person involved instead of jumping to conclusions from the rumours.

At least this means the company Faith's family has, will be given to good hands.

Faith shrugs nonchalantly. "I don't know what you heard, but people tend to blow things out of proportion. I just had a friendly time with a guy, and all of a sudden the next day I hear he's Mary's boyfriend. How was I supposed to know that?"

Her brother was obviously doubting her words, however before he could voice them she continues.

"Look I even have pictures! We never even kissed!!"

Why would Faith lower herself to do so?

She just took some really bad angled photos of them, to make it look like a thing.

She hurries to show her brother. Everything was truly innocent.

It seems that Kevin and Faith only went to a karaoke bar. The photos were badly taken in dim lighting, and bad angles, however with his sharp eyes he could discern the truth.

He sighs, the tension seeming to have left his body. "Don't look so happy! You're still in trouble. Even if you didn't capture anything incriminating, the ambiguous atmosphere is enough to make people have wild thoughts!"

Faith laughs at his stern lecturing. "What does that have to do with me? That sounds like a people problem."

Her brother pinches her cheeks sternly causing the Overseer to be taken aback.

Never has she touched another being before.

The feeling was strange.

However the Overseer was someone mighty, and overpowered. She could do anything a human could to perfection.

Acting? She can do.

Lying? She can do.

Arts? Studying? Horse riding? Chess? She could do it all.

Still, even though she can do it, she's never ever been touched before.

It was a new feeling. She could immediately notice the affection he held for his little sister.

It's such a shame.

If only he was female.
