I was doing the dishes with my sister, the guests were drinking coffee.

-Hilal: Ben bu zenginleri anlamiyorum. (I don't understand the rich.)

-Me: Niye? ( Why?)

-Hilal: Kahveyi bizim milli cayimizdan tercih ediyorlar. Türk cayi nasil sevilmez yaa?! (They prefer coffee to our tea. How can you not love serious Turkish tea?!)

-Me: Aman bosver, zengin hayati iste. Onlari anlamamiz mümkün degil! (Forget it, it's the life of the rich. It's impossible to understand them!)

-Hilal: Anlamakta istemiyorum zaten, ben hayatimdan memnunum. (I don't want to understand them anyway, I'm happy with my life.)

-Me: You have no other choice anyway lol.

-Hilal: It's true.. well, who's the girl?

-Me: What girl?

-Hilal: Bah I saw you upstairs, and she followed you.

-Me: Ah.. it's Lale, Ayaz's girlfriend if I understood correctly.

-Hilal: Güzel kiz. Ayaz'da fena degil yani.. (She is a beautiful girl. Ayaz is beautiful too..)

-Me: Anyway, are we going down?

-Hilal: Why?

-Me: Well, we've finished the dishes, we have nothing more to do in the kitchen.

-Hilal: You don't like talking about Ayaz.

-Me no ! I neither want to see him, nor want to hear him, and neither want to talk about him.

-Hilal: Oula but you hardly know him and you already hate him.

-Me: Hilal yeter, konusmak istemiyorum! (Hilal that's enough, I don't want to talk!)

-Hilal: You don't want to, but you know very well that I'm very curious!

I'm fed up with her character, she does everything but really everything to know everything. I have never seen a girl as curious as her! I see her approaching Sofia, a cleaning lady.

-Hilal: Sofia, can I ask you a question?

-Sofia: Of course.

-Hilal: Who are these guests?

-Sofia: Close friends, they have known each other for a very long time.

-Hilal: Ah okay. And their daughter, Lale, is Ayaz's girlfriend?

-Sofia: As far as I know not. But I know that parents want their child to marry together.

-Hilal: All these preparations, that's why then?!

-Sofia: Yes, Madame Sema does everything to please them. She wants no mistakes, and thinks a lot about her son Ayaz's future.

-Hilal: But Ayaz agrees to live with Lale?

-Sofia: You are really curious, but I don't know the answer to your question.

-Me: Anyway Hilal come on.

I pull her by her arm, and we go down to our room.

-Me: Are you okay? You have no limits too like Ayaz!

-Hilal: Vayy.. do you already know him?

-Me: No, but...

-Hilal: Anyway, I just wanted to know, you know very well how I am.

-Me: Yeah I know.

-Hilal: But she said they are not a couple. Why did you tell me that Lale is his girlfriend?

-Me: çünkü “Askim” deyip, kollarina atladi. (Because she threw herself into his arms saying "My love.")

-Hilal: Maybe it was to warn you.

- Me: To warn of what?

-Hilal: To stay away from Ayaz!

-Me: But I don't care about him. She does what she wants. Benim derdim zaten bana yeter, bide Ayaz'la ugrasmiyim. (I already have enough worries, I don't want Ayaz to add to them.)

-Hilal: Ne oldu? (Ya what?)

-Me: Akif.. we got confused.

-Hilal: You both got me drunk. I never see you smiling with him.

- Me: Well if I'm happy, you won't know better than me.

-Hilal: If you say so... Vasy, I'm exhausted, good night!

- Me: You too.

I start getting ready for sleep, and once in bed I think back to my day. Are Lale and Ayaz really together? Sofia said no, but sometimes they hide their relationship. Otherwise why would Lale have called him My love? Anyway, why am I interested? I don't really care about their life. I absolutely have to see Akif tomorrow. I missed him too.

The next morning, we wake up and have our quiet breakfast. I call Akif but he does not answer me. No big deal, I'll go to his place. I tell my mother that I'm going out and I take the bus. Arrived in front of his house, I ring the doorbell and it is his mother who opens it for me.

-Her: Ohh Rüya kizim, hos geldin. (Rüya my daughter, welcome.)

-Me: Hos bulduk yenge. Akif burda mi? (Thank you auntie. Akif is there?)

-Her: Yes yes, go home.

-Me: No, I just need to talk to him about something.

-Her: Tamam. ( OK.)

And she goes to find him. As we have known each other since our childhood, our parents believe that we are like brothers and sisters.

I finally see it happen.
