Helena and Shopping

It has almost been a week and today was finally Friday meaning that the next two days I could sleep for as long as I wish. Steven has learned to tolerate us on the table.

Classes went by pretty fast and it was lunchtime already. Roth and I, we were standing in line as we took our food. I, as usual took pasta and a fruit drink. As I was walking towards my lunch table, I felt myself being shoved by the bitch of our school but Roth had fortunately held me.

"Listen here you slut, who do you think you are to go and sit where my Steve sits?" as she finished she had raised her hand to slap me but my fast reflexes had held her hand before her hand could come in contact with my face.

"Oh! Look who is talking about being a slut, the one and only busybody of our school who has slept with almost all of the boys and may I even mention the teachers too, and ‘your Steve’ well from what it seems like he couldn't care less about you." I retorted.

"Oh and listen clearly don't you or your minions ever even think about touching me or my friend over here, otherwise it won't be me who would be lying on the hospital bed with a broken bone but you and trust me when I say this I am very much capable of doing that." and the fear was clear in her eyes as she stormed out of the canteen. With that, I went to sit on our table.

"That was amazing Jen," Gianna exclaimed and the others also hummed in agreement.

"How did you do that?" Steven questioned.

"What?"

"That quick reflex you had when she was about to slap you," and everyone on the table then started asking questions about that too. I looked at Roth and I pleaded her to help me. Well, the reason was because of my boxing but I didn't wish to tell anyone about it. Also because of my quick reflexes, I was also called the "Lightning bolt". Roth just smiled at me and gave me a look wherein I knew she won't be helping me at all and that little traitor also started questioning me about my quick reflex.

"Ummm... I, you know could see her hand from the corner of my eyes and so I could do that," I said and it came out more like a question.

We continued to eat while I was scrolling through my phone.

"Who're they on your phone cover?" Asher asked me.

"They look hot," Tina told while receiving a glare from Andrew.

"Where are they?" Gianna questioned.

"So that is Toby and that is... Ivan." I said "and Toby is in military training and Ivan is... Ummm somewhere too." I said while holding back my tears.

After that, the bell rang and I sped off to my classes.

After the day finally came to an end, I was by the locker when someone poked on my shoulder.

"Well, we plan to go for shopping, movie, and dinner on Saturday night, would you like to join?" Gianna questioned me "Oh and Roth will be there too"

"I'm in then," after that we all left for the day but not before I had exchanged my number with those sisters. After returning home, I changed into some comfortable clothes and then I ordered some pizza for max, dad and me.

We ate and I went to my room and read for a while and then slept.

"Jenny! Wake up!" came the sweet little annoying voice.

"I am up, go away." I got up to look at the clock read 12:00 pm. I got changed into something comfortable yet adorable for today.

I didn't tie my hair and then I went down to eat an apple. After some time, Roth came to pick me up. She also wore something comfortable.

"Looking cute," she told me and I just smiled. When we arrived at the mall, I was surprised to see the boys there too, well maybe they were forced.

I mean I am not being judgemental but boys and shopping is too odd. Guys would rather play games or something, but I wasn’t the one to complain, I would do the same as well. 

"Let's split up, and we can meet in the cafeteria at 3," Josh suggested and we all agreed because I surely wasn't going to go shopping with the girls so I decided to go the book store where else.

After spending about an hour over there, I was going to keep the book I was reading back to its shelf when I heard shuffling behind me.

"You're not going to buy yourself clothes?" a voice asked me and when I looked around I saw Steven standing there. Wow! Judgemental much?

"Well, you know I would've gone there but I didn't want to waste hours in that place so I am here."

"That place?" he chuckled a bit.

I left the place and head off to the boys' hoodie section. Well, you see Max's birthday is in 2 days' time so I had to buy him something and that guy is obsessed with hoodies so I thought of gifting him that.

"You know this is the boys' place right?" he loves scaring me.

"Yeah I know and can you please stop scaring me?" I said catching my breath.

"Oh! So what are you doing here anyway?"

"Ummm... looking for a perfect hoodie for Max," and I could see him stiffen at the name of a boy but I didn't pay much attention to it and I continued looking for his hoodie. I looked around for a while until I found the perfect hood for him. After that, I went looking for a hood for me.

Don't judge me but I buy most of my hoods from the boys clothing range only. I bought myself a hood and went to the cafeteria. I looked around to see that Steven and Asher were surrounded by girls.

Poor boys, I thought and went to the table where the others were sitting and after some time the boys also joined us.

All of us gave our orders. When the food arrived, we all scoffed it down like the hungry pigs we are and then head off for the movie.
