(seven months later... Or for some of y'all that have been counting [because I'm not even gone cap, I haven't been?] it's around that time when Jane is delivering her baby anytime soon)

Anonymous' POV

"Your ass better not still be sleeping," he heard her snap as she opened his bedroom door with so much force, it came back but she put her hand to break its force.

He groaned, jumping out of bed and tripping over the blankets on the floor. "I'm up!"

"I woke you up two hours ago!"

"And I said I'm up, give me a sec, I need to find my shoes," he said gruffly, looking around for his socks.

Thing was, she woke him up at seven o'clock and he took a shower, dressed up and went back to bed. It was now nine o'clock and he was still feeling as tired as he was last night.

The company he works at had an event where they were promoting a few dedicated employees; granted, he had to be there and give speeches because he was the Chief Financial Officer. It went on til late and he only arrived home at four in the morning.

"I'm giving you five minutes or else you can take cab," she said before walking away. He just sighed and reached for his other sock, mumbling under his breath about how bossy she has become now compared to a year ago.

"Is that an attitude I smell?" She asked, peeking her head back in the room. He was startled and immediately apologised, getting up and strolling towards where she is standing.

Damn, it doesn't get better, he mused to himself when he looked at her. Her skin was cleared now and radiating that glow that made his heart flutter with happiness.

"Good morning," he said, attempting to give her a kiss on her forehead but she craned her neck the other way.

"Not for long it is," she rolled her eyes as she walked ahead of him. "Get your ass in the car."

She's really catching an attitude, he silently thought.

"You lost us, didn't you?" He asked, trying to hide his smirk. Heaven knows how much she will go on if she sees him laughing at her.

"Pfft, no," she said, shifting gear and driving out of the one-way road in reverse. She had her eyes trained on the rearview mirror as she increased her speed and in no time, they were out of that little narrow path. She shifted gear again and not so slowly turned the car around, heading for the main road.

"You know you could just ask for my help, right?" He teased, enjoying his time in the passenger seat that she told him to get into without so much as giving him room for argument.

"For the millionth time, shut up!" She snapped, making the right turn up the hilly mountain side.

"Twentieth actually, but whatever," he said, refusing to meet her eyes because she could fry his limbs with the glare she's giving him. He decided to keep quiet for a while, trying to find some music.

However, that also didn't go peacefully as she furiously switched the radio off. He just scoffed, covering it up with a cough. "Wanna play 'I Spy'?"

"No."

"Twenty questions?"

"No."

"Never Have I Ev-?"

"No," she replied immediately. He glanced sideways and decided to fuck with her.

"Ever Have I Ever?"

"No."

"Spy I?"

"No."

"Questions Twenty?"

"No," she continued to respond carelessly, not catching on. When she didn't hear his annoying voice, she glanced at him and saw him holding his phone recording her blunder.

"You did not!" She exclaimed, roaring with laughter as she neared their parents' ranch. She smiled at him, switching the car off and slowly climbing out.

"You will not post that," she warned playfully, knowing how much his social media followers look forward to more of his videos featuring her.

It started when she was singing in the kitchen when she first moved in with him some months ago. To her dismay, her entire performance was recorded on his phone in HD view. He even had the nerve to tag her in the video and ever since then he had been making her appearance on his accounts a regular thing. Mostly because the people loved it and also because he wanted to share her moments with people all over.

"You know me better than that," he said, getting their luggage out of the boot and following her inside the house where they were greeted by her parents.

"Ola mommy," she said, smiling brightly. It has been a while since they last saw their mom. Things haven't been the greatest for the duo until only a few months ago where they sorted things out legally and now they have a new breath of air.

"Pops," she greeted, embracing him too before stepping aside as he came behind her and exchanged a handshake with his dad, immediately being taken away by him and headed towards the home office.

"How has this place been without us?"

"Peaceful," her mom said, giving her an eye, "how have you been?"

"Mom, I've been fine."

"How have you really been?"

"Just taking each day as it comes. He's been a real sweetheart about this whole thing," she said, glancing towards the office door the others disappeared behind.

Soon after, the two came out and joined them in the living room. "We ought to be heading out."

"I don't understand why you guys have to leave," she complained right as her dad and mom got up. "How will I survive with Bo-Bo here?" She teased him, getting a playful eye roll at the use of the childhood nickname.

"Behave yourselves and don't burn our house down," their dad said. "I'm not looking at you," he smiled teasingly as he playfully glared at the young girl who gasped like she had no idea why he has to reprimand her.

"You guys drive carefully, okay? Call me when you need anything," he said as he led them to the door and made sure they got in their car.

"Just don't break anything. I locked the vintage antiques in the study, you know where to find everything else you might need," their mom said with slight worry as she looked back to the window where the younger sibling was standing to wait for them to leave.

"Let's crank the base!" He heard her yell as she increased the volume of the stereo system and jumped on the couch with a tequila bottle in hand and a hair comb in the other, singing her heart out.

"No, no, no!" He yelled over the music, looking for a remote to turn it down. After failing to locate it, he switched off the plug on the wall, effectively killing the music as well as her performance.

"Dude-" she started scolding him but was interrupted by a honking noise outside. She jumped down and watched him go to the door, opening it to reveal the last person he wanted to see.

"Oh hey, how are you?" He heard her ask as she walked towards the door with a grocery bag in hand and her handbag in the other, smiling seductively at him.

"Inéz, good day to you," he said with a tight smile and a polite tone, being careful not to stare at the purposefully opened button that revealed more cleavage than he's exposed to on a daily basis.

It was gonna be a loooong weekend.
