During the course of the two weeks everything went perfectly fine. There were no major fails or accidents and even though they made mistakes, they all learned from it and learned more about one another.

The contractors were called in, the plumbers, cleaners, electricians, carpet men, carpenters and more interior designers for the respective rooms came together. Even the pest control guys were on the job. It was chaotic and noisy but organised and everyone knew what to do and when.

While all this was taking place, Jane got to learn more about the interns like how they wanted to work for a big company; either the one she works at or another similar.

Nate got to learn a lot as well but he was most proud about learning how to surf. One of the guys had taught him and he practised whenever they had time. Sometimes they'd sneak out when Jane was asleep because she was like a mother to the group; bedtimes and activities were scheduled for all and she was strict about them following these rules.

They weren't exactly opposed but they weren't religiously obeyed either. They did what they could to please her and behind her back they did what every teenager would.

Of course they were led by none other than Nate. Who else would dare defy her except for him?

"Good evening all and thank you for coming. I know you're all extremely impatient and undoubtedly excited for the reveal. Trust me, I am too but first things first. Allow me to express gratitude to Mr Nathaniel Surogiv, the incredible architect and designer of this building. It wouldn't have been this dazzling without him to begin with," she spoke into the mic on and the crowd went wild with applause.

"I would like to thank my manager and the Chief Executive Officer of Implorá, Mr James Paul for trusting me to bring this form to life. He also placed the most annoying and yet unbelievably hardworking group of interns I've had the pleasure of mentoring," she paused as the audience laughed. She felt honoured to have been able to lead the interns on this incredible journey, but sad;y theirs has come to an end.

Her eyes met Nate and he stuck his tongue out at her. She laughed softly and looked away. "Julia, Victor, Cecil, Ralph, Meagan, Jess, Nox and Kurt, you guys are exceptionally gifted and it was truly an honour to be stuck with you guys in Cuba. I hope we work together again some time soon. Now I'd like to extend my vote of thanks to our esteemed guests and with their help, call on Nathaniel and James to officially open the hotel," she said excitedly and the crowd applauded as they walked towards her with a smile mirroring hers.

They ceremoniously took the large scissors and snipped the large dark red ribbon in half, making the onlookers go wild with screams. Soon after, everyone was ushered in and they all admired the way it turned out.

Some shed a few tears, James being one of them while others like Jane had a proud look of satisfaction on their faces. Everyone was free to take a look around at the open spaces like the reception and show rooms, as well as the recreational areas. It was truly an incredible five-star hotel.

*"Did I tell you how incredible you are?" Nate asked as he came to stand beside her on the balcony

"Did I tell you how incredible you are?" Nate asked as he came to stand beside her on the balcony. She left him astounded with how she could pull everything together and still keep her calm. He can't begin to count the amount of times he'd lost his cool but she was there to keep him in line and not take it out on anybody. He was indeed grateful for her nurturing nature.

Right now, he couldn't take his eyes off her and more so especially when she was dressed in a beautiful two piece he'd bought her years ago. He was pleasantly surprised when she wore it and asked him if he remembered it. But as much as he couldn't take his eyes off her, so could the other men at the event. And that boiled his blood, that every man was staring at his Jane.

He couldn't take his eyes off her and more so especially when she was dressed in a beautiful two piece he'd bought her two days ago

"I believe you did but it's still nice to hear," she smiled a little as she sipped on the mocktail. Usually, she'd have a glass of wine but the internet filled her head with stories that it wasn't healthy for the baby. So this was her best option.

"You're an incredible woman, Jane Scott," he said as he came to stand beside her. "I am a bastard for letting you go."

"Don't say that. You're not a bastard. You're a good guy who deserves happiness more than anyone I know. And if it's not with me, then maybe with somebody else," she said honestly, looking him right in the eyes.

"It sure doesn't feel like happiness where I'm standing," he replied as he leaned on the railing with her.

"Well, maybe one day you'll take back those words," she said as she turned and stood beside him, both looking into the colourful horizon.

He took her hand in his and lightly touched the diamond on the ring around her finger. "I hope one day I'm going to change your last name. Jane Surogiv would sound a little more commanding, doesn't it?"

She chuckled. "I guess I've thought about how it would sound."

He could see that she was in deep thought and didn't want to break her concentration. He loved the way her she bit her lip when she was thinking. He wondered what it was she was thinking about. She never told him when he asked. But lately, she has been looking bothered. He felt guilty for causing the unease.

"Nate, I should inform you that I'm-" she started but got interrupted by the burst of fireworks suddenly displayed in the sky. They were incredible and she was monetarily taken back by them. Her jaw fell as she watched the colours change in the sky and she got goosebumps.

She felt her head turn and Nate placed a soft kiss on her cheek. He was watching her watch the sky and couldn't help himself from placing a kiss on her cheek. She blushed when she tilted her head back and then returned the kiss on his cheek, taking him by surprise.

"What were you saying?"

"Nevermind that."

"You sure?" he asked.

"I'm sure. I'll tell you some other time. I'm going to get some rest, don't be out too long."

"I'll be in soon," he said with a grin as he let her go back inside. He couldn't help but stare at her butt as she walked away.

"Stop staring at my butt, asshole," she called out, a knowing smile on her face. He chuckled to himself when he realised that he likes it when she's with him but loves it even more when she walks away.
