Chapter 2: The secret that David hid from Lucy

David did not understand what was happening, and his hands began to tremble.

"NO. Your hands must not tremble like this. We must bring our product into the market as soon as possible. If this photo is in our hands, we will think about the person who spoiled our lives. Our goal is not to kill a person, but to make that person feel guilty with the pure love we developed over the years." Lucy said, looking at the rain that was falling heavily.

He sat on the chair with tears, thinking about the proposal he had hidden from his lover.

A few days back, when David met Samantha, who saved his life, he gets shocked by his words that he could not tell Lucy.

"Samantha, You saved my life. How can I forget that? I promise you I will not move away from the promise once again." David said seriously.

"You must spend one night with me. After that, I must become the Mom of your child." Samantha said, looking at the moon.

"What?" David asked with a shock.

"Yes. I must carry a child of yours. I have loved you for three years sincerely. Can't you share your love for a few moments with me?" Samantha asked, looking into David's eyes.

"No. I cannot cheat Lucy. She is only my life." David said with fear.

"David, I am not asking you to spend the rest of your life with me. I want you to enjoy my body only for one night. As a girl, I cannot tell you more than this." Samantha said and went inside.

He came to his senses when Lucy kissed his hands and looked into his eyes.

"David, Do not think about the challenges that came into our lives accidentally," Lucy said, kissing David's eyes.

David nodded his head as a symbol of YES and turned on the transistor that Lucy loved during their childhood. A love song in the Transistor made Lucy forget everything and start dancing with David.

"Lucy, I think you didn't forget what happened at our young age," David said, dancing with his left leg like a professional.

Lucy stopped dancing as she heard the footsteps of someone coming towards the cottage. She ran towards her wallet to take the riffle but stopped when David made a sound with the stick on the floor. He sighed her not to make any violent decisions.

Lucy nodded her head and closed her eyes. She heard someone nearing her and tightly controlled her anger by closing her fist.

"Lucy! When did you come?" A voice shouted from behind with a smiling face.

Lucy opened her eyes and looked behind her. She is surprised to see her close friend, Mia, a twenty-two-year-old girl who used to stay in the house beside theirs.

Lucy hugged Mia as she could not believe her eyes that their friend had come to see them in their difficult times.

"Lucy, I met David a few days ago when traveling to another place. I don't know that he is Chairman of XXX Lubricator company. I feel proud that you made the word SEX enjoyable to many couples." Mia said and looked at David.

Lucy felt relieved by Mia's words and gave her a letter she had taken from her wallet. She looked into David's eyes, and he understood Lucy's intention. David went into another room slowly by leaving the light in that room.

Mia opened the letter and saw a formula that she did not understand. She surprised Lucy and said she could not guess what was on the paper.

"A formula that can change the society. A formula that couples require to enjoy their lovely moments. A formula that every man needs to enjoy their sexual life with the girls. But...." Lucy stopped the sentence when she heard the quacking sound of a parrot.

Lucy understood that the parrot was making a sound to its partner due to sexual frustration. She smiled and looked at Mia, who stood beside her, hearing the parrot's quacking sound.

"Mia, Did you hear that sound? A bird is also looking for a partner, but humanbeings are still feeling shame speaking about that word." Lucy said with a smiling face.

Mia understood the reason behind Lucy's laugh and hit on her head naughtily. Then, finally, she sat on the chair and asked Lucy why did she kill David in the outside world, to which Lucy did not answer.

Lucy smiled uncomfortably and asked Mia to bring the formula into the market within a few days. She could not forget David's hard work and investment to get the product into the market.

"It's OK. I can understand the hard work behind this struggle. Don't worry. I will speak with Dad and will bring the product. But why are you hiding like this? Why don't you reveal the incidents in your lives to the outside world? Do you know how much negative publicity came to you? I felt proud after seeing your name on the list of young entrepreneurs. But..." Mia stopped the sentence and looked at Lucy with a heartbroken feeling.

Lucy did not reply to the question and went into David's room, which was entirely dark. She closed her eyes and started smelling the perfume from the bed.

Lucy went to bed and touched David's hand. She slept on David's heart, that is sounding for Lucy. She controlled her tears and kissed David's hands.

David tried to hug Lucy but stopped when his hands touched the walking stick. He did not get any courage to embrace a girl he had waited for years to speak with her.

Lucy came to her senses when she heard the mobile ringing in her wallet. She ran outside, and Mia was surprised by her behavior. Lucy opened her purse and took her mobile. She saw a number on the screen, and her eyes became red with anger.

"Lucy!" David shouted and took the mobile from her hands.

He had switched off the mobile and threw it aside. Mia understood that something had happened seriously between them and felt it was not correct to disturb them.

Mia closed the doors and went away with many doubts in her brain.

"Lucy, Let's sit near the flowers outside," David said, caressing Lucy's hair.

Lucy began walking with David slowly, and she felt surprised to see the plants blossoming after the rain. Lucy ran towards flowers and smelled them.

David sat near the plants and looked at Lucy, behaving like a girl he met when she was studying fourth class.

His mind began to think about the olden days that he stored in his mind just for Lucy, who is his childhood friend and classmate.
