A Girl's Fight To Reach CEO Position

The clock sounded at 09:00 AM.

Skylark Auditorium is waiting for a typical middle-class girl to occupy her seat. Instead, the public gathered in considerable numbers to look at the girl who created a sensation in history.

The Police Officers are sending the guests into the Auditorium. It is becoming a huge challenge to control crowds.

The media began the live telecast, and the world's famous network BBC took special permission to telecast the news worldwide. So the general public and politicians sat before the Television to see the girl who got that much fame in society.

Lucy, a twenty-four-year-old girl, sat in the revolving chair and looked at a file with concentration.

The Bouncer who entered the room said to Lucy that they were already late by ten minutes and looked for her answer.

Lucy closed the file and drank the water. She did not feel interested in leaving the room, as she came to the room after a long chase.

She cannot forget the incident that happened to her a few minutes ago and feels restless. Her hands are shaking, and her legs are trembling with fear. The Bouncer who saw this understood that something had happened but did not get the courage to ask Lucy.

"I will come within a few minutes. You may go." Lucy took a deep breath and said to Bouncer.

The Bouncer ran outside with happiness. He knew that his Boss waited for many days without eating and sleeping correctly for this day.

Lucy went near the window and began to see the sky occupied by dark clouds. The thunderstorms are roaring like a lion, and heavy winds are blowing outside.

She began to think about the proposal that changed her life and made her stand like a characterless person before David.

The Board of Directors entered the Conference room. They sat in their respective positions, thinking about what would happen.

Lucy entered the Company and looked in the direction where she used to sit and sell the products.

After a few minutes, Lilly entered the Company like a lion and smiled at seeing Lucy.

"Hi, Lucy! I did not expect you to come today due to fear for me. But, you came at the correct time. Did you drink anything or require water?' Lilly asked and laughed.

"Madam, You only helped me with my PG studies. I respect you always and am a well-wisher for you. If you want, I will leave the CEO position. But, please don't harm David, as he doesn't know anything about your sister." Lucy said in a requesting manner.

"Are you the witness of that incident? Do you know how he killed my sister Sophia? He took her to a pub and killed her there. How can I leave a guy who killed my sister? Do you know how I loved my sister? I will not leave David for making me cry every minute." Lilly growled.

"Madam, Please give me a chance to prove the truth. One chance will make every life happy. So please give me a chance. I will prove what happened and who is the criminal." Lucy pleaded.

"Lucy, I can understand your feelings. But, feelings are not important for evidence/ I will leave David. But, on one condition." Lilly said and sat on the sofa with cross-folded legs.

"Madam, I will agree to any of your conditions. I will leave the CEO position if you want." Lilly said eagerly.

"I will give the CEO position to you and will leave David. But, you must sleep with a person whom I propose. If you agree to one condition, I will leave this Company and make David the Chairman. What do you say?" Lilly asked seriously.

Lucy was shocked to hear this proposal and stood like a statue.

"No. I cannot accept this. How dare you ask me to sleep with another guy?" Lucy asked angrily.

"Lucy, I will give you two minutes to think about this. Then, if you want your David to sit in the Chairman Position and save him from my hands, you need to accept my condition. Bye." Lilly said and went inside the Conference room.

Tears flowed from Lucy's eyes, and she called to David with fear.

"He will not come till you accept Madam's condition. But, Madam, you cannot hit Lilly, as she knows how to hit the weakness." Andrea said with a smiling face and went inside.

Lucy called to David again and again. But, the mobile is not reachable.

She understood that David was in Lilly's hands, and he would come out safely only if she accepted the condition.

"How can I cheat David? Can I show my face again?" Lucy asked herself and cried in her heart.

After a few minutes, she wiped her tears and went inside the Conference room.

"Colleagues, After a long discussion with Andrea, I felt that it is apt to make Lucy sit in the CEO position, as she is talented and did PG in Sex Theory, which is important for a company. But unfortunately, Andrea has withdrawn the application for the CEO position. So, I wanted to announce Lucy as CEO." Lilly said with a smiling face.

Everyone was shocked by this announcement and looked at Lilly with surprise.

Lilly congratulated Lucy and asked her to sit on the desired CEO chair.

Lucy smiled with discomfort and ran outside of the room.

"I think she is feeling shy. I will go and speak with her. You may all leave for the day. From today, Lucy is the New CEO." Lilly said and went away from the room.

"Come with me," Lilly ordered Lucy, waiting outside.

Lucy wiped her tears and followed Lilly as she had no option except to hear Lilly's words.

Lilly drove the vehicle towards her house, and within half an hour, they reached the house.

"Get down," Lilly said and went inside her house.

Lucy entered the house that looked like hell to her and went inside Lilly's bedroom.

"Lucy, I know about you and your weakness. I am not a girl who will accept defeat easily. If you want everything to happen smoothly, sign on the paper as acceptance to the one-night stand proposal." Lilly said and threw the paper on Lucy's face.

"Madam, I want my David back in Chairman Position on the day when I sleep with another guy. If you agree to this deal, I will sign the paper." Lucy said and wiped her tears.

"Lilly will stick to her words. Here is my resignation letter and proposal letter to make David the Chairman of WOMEN'S HEAVEN. For everything, there is an expiry date. Let us fix a period for our deal." Lilly said and drank the wine.

"Within ten days, everything must happen," Lucy said firmly.

"What?" Lilly asked with a shock and left the glass.

Lucy signed the paper and kept it on the bed.

"Madam, By the 10th David must become Chairman. So I am a temporary CEO till David takes charge as Chairman. After that, I will move away from the company, as I cannot face David anymore." Lucy said with tears.

"If you move away from your words, I will kill David the next minute. Remember that. You may go." Lilly said and touched her sister's photo.

Lucy started walking to the house, thinking about the fate that changed her life within minutes.

She became a CEO, but a smile was not coming on her face. Instead, she touched her stomach and began to cry in her heart, not knowing what to do if she became pregnant.

Lucy came to her senses when she heard the door knocking sound. She wiped her tears, and wrote something on a paper, and went outside.

The clock sounded at 09:30 AM.

Everyone is looking at the stage keenly without making any noise—their desire to see Lucy made them forget to look at the time and wait patiently.

Lucy washed her face and came out of her cabin. The waiting hall public heard Lucy's footsteps that sounded like a lion coming for hunting. Their heartbeats are increasing, and sweat is flowing from their faces in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium.

She entered like a lion, and the media started clicking the pictures of Lucy. Then, the youth started whistling, and the public stood up from their positions to see Lucy.

Lucy smiled with discomfort and looked at the public waiting eagerly for her speech. Then, she took the mike and announced resigning from her CEO position.

Everyone is shocked by this news and looks at Lucy with surprise.

"This is my resignation letter. Lucy doesn't have any relation with this Sexual products company." So Lucy said and kept the resignation letter on the table.

She ran away from the Auditorium ignoring the media that started negative publicity on the news channels. After going outside, Lucy understood that she could not drive her car due to the heavy crowd that came to see her. She saw a scooter that was parked outside and ran towards it.

"Madam, It is my scooter only. Here are the keys." A guy shouted with joy and gave the keys to Lucy.

Lucy took the keys and drove the vehicle fast, making the guy look at Lucy in surprise, as he felt he could give Lucy company while going.

The clock sounded 10:30 AM.

Lucy stopped the vehicle at a hill area and started walking on a small path that led her to a small cottage.

She opened the doors of the cottage and shouted David's name loudly. But, Lucy did not get any reply.

Lucy looked around for a light, and she became frightened by the roaring sound of the thunderstorm.

"Lucy!" A voice shouted from inside and brought a lantern light outside.

Lucy began to cry loudly and started hitting on the floor.

"Lucy, What happened? Why are you behaving like this?" David, a twenty-four-year-old guy, asked and hugged Lucy.

Lucy hugged David tightly and closed her eyes for a minute. Then, she relaxed, and her heartbeat came into her control.

David wiped the tears falling from Lucy's eyes and kissed her eyes. Then, he made Lucy sit on a chair near the window and went inside.

While consoling, Lucy looked at a photo that had fallen from David's pocket. She took it into her hands, and unexpectedly her lips smiled.

Lucy heard David's footsteps and hid that photo under the table. She wanted to tease David for some time as her heart was jumping with joy after seeing her childhood friend.

David kept the coffee on the table and sat on the chair, thinking about something. Lucy sipped the coffee and laughed loudly.

David did not understand and asked Lucy what had happened.

"I won't say. But, if you guess, I would give a prize to you." Lucy shouted with joy.

David felt happy after seeing Lucy's face with joy and began to think about what had happened. He was unable to guess and said that he had lost the game.

"Did you forget this photo?" Lucy asked and showed him the photo she had hidden under the table.

David tried to take the photo from Lucy's hands, but Lucy began to run with the picture in the cottage like a small kid. David looked at his legs, and tears flowed from his eyes as he could not move his right leg without the help of a walking stick.

Lucy saw the tears in David's eyes and went near him. She kept her hand on David's shoulder and hugged him tightly, controlling her tears. David caressed her hair and requested Lucy to give that photo, as it is only a childhood memory. Lucy laughed loudly and tore the picture into two pieces, which shocked David.
