Chapter 9 Sleepovers And Sudoku

Alexis's POV;

After Jasmin dropped me off i went straight up to my room and arranged it a little not that it wasn't arranged before its just that my room was always kinda messy whenever i prepare for school.

I then go to my mom's room to look for her, but she wasn't there. So i go downstairs checked the kitchen but she wasn't there so i guessed she was at the store since even Sophie wasn't there too.

So i watch some TV to pass time and then there was a knock on the door and I go to check it out and find a smiling Sophie who comes in

"Where's mom?" I ask

"She doing a night shift at the cafe so am in charge" Sophie said with a smile plastered on his face

"Okay..i want to tell you........"

"So Mark's coming over so stay in your room till tomorrow"sophie said interrupting what i was trying to say

"I will as i was saying i want to tell you that jazz is coming over" i say completing my sentence.

"Great,so what's for dinner?" soph asked

"We are having spaghetti and meatballs" i answered

"Yum,i love your meatballs"she said back

"That's great just leave some for jazz"i told her

She nodded and started eating then the doorbell rang and i opened to see a happy Jasmin.

"Come on in"i told her smiling and she entered and said "something scents divine" and Sophie yelled from the kitchen "it's her meatballs" and jazz ran to the kitchen and served her portion and began eating.

The thing about Jasmin is she lived with me like she was home and my family is usually happy to have her over Sophie said it's because they were surprise when i told them I had a friend and started treating her like a daughter and a sister which was hurtful as a comment.

After having the meal me and jazz headed up to my room and we both laid on the bed and then jazz sat up looking worried after starring at her phone.

"Hey are you okay?" i ask in a worried tone

"Yeah it's just June telling me that my dad is home drunk again" she said slightly sighing.

June is Jasmin's little sister they are a family of 'Js' because her mother's name is Julia while her dad's Justin so they decided to have children with matching names.

"Am so sorry"i say softly while hugging her

"Its okay, we are kinda used to it"she said in a low tone

"So what should we do now?" i ask jazz who was already yawning

"Sleep!!" She answered quickly but i didn't really feel sleepy so i just left jazz who had already gone to sleep and tiptoed to stairs where i heard giggling, not just any giggle but a really flirty giggle when i see them making out i just went up to my room.

After a long while of playing Sudoku, i got tired and played chess on my laptop until i yawned slightly and sleep began to creep into my eyes and i turned off the laptop and went to bed and before i could sleep it took awhile because of jazz's snoring, hard to believe that such a pretty girl snores but that's the irony of life.
