Chapter 17 Peace And Tranquility

Alexis's POV;

I had difficulty sleeping,I'd constantly get up from bed and wondered what would happen if we didn't pay the rent on time,would he really kick us out like dogs?

Would this be happening if dad was still alive?

Flashback

"Princess,where are you!?" My dad called,trying to search for me in the park

"I'm here papa" i came out of hiding laughing at how frantic he was looking

"Never leave me again princess,okay" he said holding me on my arm

"No i will never leave you papa,but you,don't leave me soon too. Promise?" I told him showing my baby teeth,and brought out my pinky finger

"No baby,i won't leave you anytime soon" he replied with a reassuring smile and carried me up to meet mom and Rachel

"You love Alex alot papa" Sophia said with a little bit of jealousy

"Yes i do princess,but i also love you just as much" he said with a smile and lifted Sophie off the ground and place her on his lap

"Go and buy the girls cotton candy,darling" he told my mom

"You're spoiling them,honey,but i will,they deserve to be spoiled" she smiled and walked away

Mom came back with two cotton candies and handed both of them to us

"Thank you mommy" we said simultaneously

Both me and Sophie decided to walk around the carnival and when our candies has finished we returned and when we return we found our mother resting on our Father's chest and my dad caressing her hair

It was so cute to look at,but we went to disturb both of them and we played and played our day away

"Come let's take a family photo" dad shouted

We found a photo booth and took lots of pictures,we were all happy and we felt soo good we took one of the pictures and framed it.

We put it in the living room.

I didn't even notice when i started sobbing and it was morning,but i couldn't help it.

"Thinking about dad again,aren't you?" The words made me jolt from my bed

"No?......yes?....yes,i just can't help but wish he was here with us,he'd know what to do" i say softly

"Lexi,relax it's gonna be fine" she said in a reassuring voice,sitting next to me and holding my palms

"Do you even realize what you're saying!....we will soon get kicked out of here...i have a feeling mom isn't doing well....and you're freaking telling me to relax" i snapped at her

"Woah..lexi is it your time of the month,why are you getting so mad...dang girl chill" Sophie said with amusement in her voice

She continued,"it won't get better if you get mad at me,we need to stick together now more than ever,so yeah get dressed I'll make breakfast" and she left

She was right i was getting late,so i hurriedly took my bath and went down for breakfast

"Mom already left,before you start looking for her" Sophie told me,but how did she know i was going to search for mom

I got to school,tired and i felt so drenched psychologically and when i went to my first class i sat at the corner and put my head on my table to rest a little.

But it seems I'm not supposed to cause when i laid my head on the desk to help my headache but then there was a sound of something on the table and i was already cursing in my mind just wanted to know who it was and i lifted my head

I lifted my head and saw a person,dark hhaired,blue eyed and very hot,i pushed my glasses to my eyes more and ibsaw kyle and i sighed and out my head back down

Of course only kyle would be that hot

"So you're gonna pretend you didn't see me now?" I heard a familiar husky voice ask me

I shrugged,but I kept my head down the whole time,I was really pissed and hurt over the times he stood me up

"So you're still doing this,i won't apologize though,I'm a very busy guy" he continued

who does he think he is,not gonna apologize huh?

Alexis,I'm talking to you" he said again irritation clear in his voice,and yanked my ponytail lifting me up with it.

"Fuck off" i yell,and at this point everyone turns and stares at us,kyle just starred in disbelief and i take my bag and leaves the classroom

I had alot of time to think while i was walking to school,I told Jasmin that I'd see her at school and shouldn't bother coming,she was worried but i told her to relax

After my blow out,i felt embarrassed when everyone started starring at us and i left and kyle just looked shocked,well he should feel that way,because i got stood up twice and I sat on a bench close to the school's garden

It was peaceful and sunny,with everything going on in my life this is exactly what i need,

Peace and tranquillity

"So you had a voice after all" i hear a sexy voice say

But i guess not,why am i never blessed with tranquillity

"Hmm can you please go? I need to relax and take a break"

"Why do you keep pushing me away?"

"I don't have the strength for this" i take my bag and left him there and he had that same expression,like he was in disbelief

Kyle's POV;

I needed to work on my plan fast,i felt this girl was slipping through my hands and something had to be done,good thing i followed her and she noticed my shadow and stopped to look at who it was

"Hey,Alexis right?" I say and she looked angry and a little bit confused

"And you must kyle right" she replied in a bitter tone

Touché

"If it makes you feel any better,yes i am kyle,every girl's dream guy" i say in a very proud tone,but she didn't look amused and tried walking out on me but i stopped her

"Do you have this attitude because of yesterday's incident?" I ask

"What do you think"

"Let me make it up to you,today,wherever you pick,after school"

She thought for awhile and she refused,

"Oh come on please Alex,i need to pass all my classes" i begged and then she agreed and she left

In my last class,i was actually listening to Miss Claire,the geography teacher when a middle aged man walked into our classroom with the principal

"Matthews get out here now" Mr Thompson ordered and i came outside and turns out the middle aged man was my father

"Get into the car,we're leaving" my father ordered

"But i just can't leave school dad,I've...."

I tried explaining but he cut me off

"I said get into the car,now!" He yelled and I did what he said

"where are we going?" I asked

"Home,the senator is coming for lunch and he's bringing his daughter,Blossom and i want her to like you"

"She is pretty and is around your age and she's from a decent family,act like a gentleman" he continued

We got to our mansion and the gates opened by themselves and we entered and drove to our front door, and i saw a long line of cars srrounding everywhere

It appears the senator had arrived already

"welvkme home sir" everyine greeted ne as i walked passed them

My fathers face turned serious again "remember,act like a gentleman,or you will regret it"

We made our way to the dining room and found mom and Emily already on the table, It looked like a feast in the dining room

"Mr Stewart,so good to see you again,and i see you brought your lovely daughter" he smiled

"Mr Matthews it's always a pleasure" the senator said and exchanged hugs with my father and they both had their seats

My eyes scanned the brunnete sitting in between her mother and her father,and my father starred at me and i sighed,

"Why don't you go sit next to kyle for dinner?" My dad said loud so the whole table would hear

"That's a great idea,Stan" Mr senator said

The brunette girl looked at her mother for approval and her mother gave her eye contact and she came here to sit by my left hand side

Having her close,i could see her better,she wasn't too bad looking,her skin was caramel in color and she was so slender yet so sexy,her dress had a V-neck so her cleavage was showing and i liked it,her dress was short and it showed her beautiful legs,i was having a hard-on just starring at her

She must have noticed me starring and blushed

The lunch was a boring one,my father and his friend dominated the conversation on the dining table

When it was time to serve dessert,Mrs Rose slipped and my father's favorite dish broke and my dad was not happy,he told her to leave after cleaning it up,she begged but she knew it wouldn't change my Father's mind,he was adamant

It was when the clock strikes 5 o'clock that i remembered i was supposed to meet Alexis and i sent her a text that i wouldn't be able to make it

Blossom was boring to talk to,she was just a pretty face and sexy body. But that was all,we had no common interests,i can't even date her because she always want to please her parents

I took her to my room with the excuse of taking her round the garden,she didn't hesitate to go to my room,all i wanted was to see her body without that dress

I showed her to my room,and she was looking around,i closed the door and i walked up to her and i know she wanted me as well,so i took all her hair to one side and started kissing and sucking on her neck,she responded by using her hand to caress my hair from which i turned her round and started kissing her,i was turned on already and we moved on to the bed and we had a quickie

We were interrupted when we heard voices from downstairs,

Shit,they were already looking for us

She fixed herself and went downstairs,i didn't go with because i was tired and wanted to sleep badly

"wake up!! Wake up!!!" I hear Emily screaming in my ear

"Ugh...what is it,i need more sleep" i say covering my face with a pillow to block my sunshine

"you're going to be late" she said pulling the pillow from me

"Fine,you win" i say with a gritted teeth

I went to school in my new mercedes benz,ir was the latest model with a navigator and pure leather seats,a good sounding radio system and speaker and a mini television

I went to my first class and first scanned the whole classroom and i saw a blackbrown ponytail and i instantly knew it was Alexis and i walked over to seat with her and u tried talking to her,but she just yelled "fuck off" and walked away

I followed her to the garden and still tried talking to her and she just walked away,this is gradually becoming a habit,and it made me realize i was losing her

Something needed to be done and fast,no kidding she was slipping out if my hands
