Chapter 15 Family And Issues

Kyle's POV;

After talking to Alexis i went to tell my guys that i had a date with a nerd and to prove once more that i am the alpha male

"Hey dudes" i say to my two buddies Ashton Cole the quarterback of the football team and Brian Singer who is on the team and i the team captain.

"Hw'd go?" Ash asked not taking his eyes off the game he was playing with Brian

"Very well, the play is just the beginning...." I stop in mid sentence when my phone buzzed it was a message from Emily, my sister.

I want something sweet :)

"Is it Emily!?" Brian asked a little bit too excited

"Dude.....she's 16" i told him in a very serious tone

"Relax dude,i was only asking" he said raising his hands in surrender

"The nerd,how is it going?" Ash asked with a sound of interest

"Good,we even have a date today" laughing as i said the word "date"

"I told you that even nerds would fall for me" i say with a smirk on my face.

And the guys clap while i took a bow.

Then Christina call came in and i sighed with rolled eyes she's always throwing herself at me.

I really can't stand her, but she's really good in bed so i manage, she's so annoying and she tells people that we're dating, like i would ever.

"Dude,are you gonna answer that it's been ringing awhile?" Ash said stopping me from finishing my thoughts.

I tapped ignore  and Ash looks angry,"why'd you do that?" he thundered

"Dude it's only Christina chill"i say smirking but by the look on his face he was rather angry

"She's your girlfriend, she doesn't deserve what you are doing to her" through a gritted teeth.

"She's my girlfriend not yours so don't tell me how to treat you" i say with irritation clear in my voice.

So even the guys think she's my girlfriend? Wow

"Whatever dude" Ash said and walked away.

We always end up arguing whenever we talk about Christina, i never knew why he always takes Christina's side and ends up leaving each time.

"Okaay...he left,so do we suspend our game?

"Yes" Ash totally killed my vibe for video games today,so I'm going to buy Emily some ice cream" in a down tone.

"Yes,go don't keep her waiting,don't forget her favorite is strawberry with sprinkles on the top" he said looking down

And the surprising thing was that he was right,that was Emily favorite and it seemed weird that he knew that because i don't talk about her to them

"So how'd you know that" i questioned with a raised brow

"Nothing, it's normal that i know that isn't it? I'm not weird or hiding anything" he said with suspicion but i didn't push the subject anymore so as not to end up in an argument like Ash and we said our  goodbyes and left in our sports car.

Yes,we were all your typical rich kids and that's why this squad we had came up

I didn't even realize how late it had gotten until i had started driving with the clock in the car telling me that it was 8:25pm,so i pulled into the parking lot of an ice cream parlor and bought Emily's ice cream.

After about 15 minutes of driving i finally got to my house, my mansion as my teachers would say because of how extremely large it is, it's got an indoor pool and a quite spacious garden.

I pulled into my driveway, i see lots of cars,lots than usual so i park in my spot and i notice men dressed in black suits "great dad's home" i say in my mind in a sarcastic tone.

So i walked to my front door and was about to enter when i heard "you can't go in through that door,you have to use the back door" and i turned to see who it was and it was John my dad's most trusted guard and he was sort of close to me and Emily so we called him uncle John.

"Uncle!!" I said excitement clear in my voice and he smiled back and hugged me.

"It's been three months, Carter" he replied clearly happy to see me.

"Shuuushhh" i say putting my index finger on my lips,he was the only one who called me my middle name  and he laughed.

"Let's go in" he said holding my bag for me

"Wait...i thought you said i shouldn't use this door?" I asked confused

"I was joking" he chuckled and patted me on my shoulder.

Going in,i see Vicky, the cook and all other workers going up and about because of my dad.

"Go and say hi to your dad"  John ordered

"I will, just want to give Em her ice cream first". I reply walking towards the stairs when i hear a throat been cleared and turned round and find my dad as "happy" as ever.

"Stop slouching, young man" he said in a harsh tone and i take my stance and walk towards him "daddd" i say sounding happy than i really am and he didn't even smile or anything

"Why are you home at this time, you should be at home before this,i knew your mother was spoiling you too much" he said with no shred of happiness.

"I usually at home before this dad,it's just a one time thing" i lied.

"Go to your room and study for this year's exam because when i was your age i was already handling shares in the company" he ordered

"It's just started, dad and besides i haven't had dinner" i say to his straight face.

"You talk like you don't know the time we usually have dinner,and since you missed it you can now go to your room" he thundered.

"Whatever" i say sounding annoyed and walk towards the stairs.

"Come back here" he screamed and i acted like i didn't hear him.

I always end up arguing whenever he comes over and he always compares me to himself.

While,i was going to my room i passed Emily's room forgetting that i even bought ice cream for her,it should be melted by now.

So i knock on her door and she opens almost immediately and smiles when she sees me, "hi kyle" she said smiling.

"Hi Em" i say and hugs me. "Your face says it all,i think you've met dad haven't you?" She asks

I nod and she takes a deep breath and walk over to her reading table and sits down and then pats the chair beside it indicating that i should sit down so i walk over there and sit.

"Why can't dad just let me be me?

"Why does he always compare me to himself?" I say to Emily who then puts her hand on my shoulder and then whispers "you are the best brother in the world, and never mind what dad says he's just being all agitated because of work,that's all".

"You talk like it's the first time,I'm actually even beginning to think that he hates me" i say standing up from the bed.

"He doesn't he loves you a lot but shows it differently" she says standing up too and coming to meet me.

"Easy for you to say he adores you" i whisper yelled and storm out of the room.

"Kylee......" She tries to call but i didn't respond.

My life has always been this complicated that's why i don't need relationships because that will always destroy people,I'd rather just use them and forget them.

I was so mad i didn't even remember that i was hungry and just laid on my king size bed and my phone buzzes it was Christina, she wanted to video chat but i wasn't in the mood so i left it ringing

My phone buzzed,but i just thought it'd just be Christina and ignored it

and then i remembered that there was something that i was supposed to do but just couldn't remember what exactly so i went to sleep thinking i would remember eventually.

An alarm woke me up at 7:35am and i went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and took a shower which only took me like 25 minutes and i got out to see that my maid Stacy has already laid out some clothes for me to put on but the shirt she choose was horrible and i decided to change it.

After dressing i went down for breakfast but skipped once i saw my dad and asked/told the driver to take me to school,it was kind of late but no one would dare give me detention because of my dad who turns out to be the biggest sponsor of Greenfield High.

I checked out my phone and saw a message from an unknown number asking if i needed help to go somewhere,i was confused but just let it go

School was same old, bullying all those little nerds and then it was lunch and while sitting at my usual table i spotted Alexis who was with that girl from the party and a nerdy guy with suspenders and then i remembered what i was trying to remember last night.

I HAD A DATE WITH ALEXIS YESTERDAY NO WONDER SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE WANTS KILL ME
