Chapter 13 Casts And Turning Red

Alexis's POV;

I was really really nervous,then Christina and her minions started walking towards us and pass us and when people saw her they cleared the way for her,they are treating her like royalty wtf!.

We followed behind her and used the opportunity to clearly see the list and i saw Alexis Coleman at the top list and leaned closer to see that i was in I was the female lead.

I was so happy i took time to process it,and suddenly i heard a scream;

"It's not that bad" i heard someone say

"What!! I got supporting character not even the farm girl!!" She said obviously annoyed.

And turns back and sees me, "you!!,you!!"she said with her face red with anger

"Who do you think you are, you oversized idiot" she spat.

"It's not our fault your acting sucks"jazz spat back

"Nobody talked to you" Charlotte replied to jazz.

"It's enough"i yelled and took Jasmin by the hand and walked away.

After school was over we all gathered in the auditorium even Christina that i thought wouldn't come what can i say everyone wants to graduate.

We were all waiting for the explanation of the play but we're all waiting for Mr Derek

"Sorry, i took so long,teachers had a meeting" Mr Derek explained kinda happy that the place was packed.

"You made a mistake about the female lead, how come i didn't get it or Jasmin,did you really have to give it to that nerd" she says pointing at me and everyone's eyes are on me.

"There was no mistake, you guys did well but Alexis here did better. Don't you think so too?" He asked

"Yes i definitely agree" Christina said through a forced smile.

"Now let's move on to the explanation, we won't have that much time to practice so i suggest you guys meet up and practice" Mr Derek said

"Alexis you are a princess waiting to be rescued from the evil dragon and the knight will try to rescue you but he won't succeed and then the prince will come for you and he will ask for the direction from a farm girl who will show him to the tower and he will rescue you and then he will kill the dragon and you two will kiss. The End." Short right so here are your scripts and he handed it to each of us.

"But who's the male lead?" Andy asked a little curious.

"It's no other than yours truly" Kyle said from behind and i saw four people go red.

First was Christina, she was red with anger. I understand hers she's always trying to seduce Kyle.

Second was Andy, i really didn't understand why he was angry he was the one who asked

And then third was Jasmin,i still didn't understand hers too but i was gonna find out.

And finally myself,yes i was red because i was gonna have my first kiss with a person i really liked but it will be in front of a crowd.

During the practice i went out to get water from the cafeteria when i heard someone shout "Alexis"and i turned back to find Kyle walking towards me and i stop dead on my track.

"So since we are the main characters i was thinking we could walk on it today? After school so are you like free?" He asked

Is he asking me out?!!But is this how boys ask girls out though?

My head was just confused because i Was new at this.

"So is this like a date or something?" i ask

Because no one has ever done that before expect Andy but we just go out as friends he never says anything to me.

"Call it whatever you want,so do you know somewhere we can hang out?" He said with a killer smirk that made my knees weak

"Would my family's café work?" I ask avoiding eye contact

"Okay,so give me your number and text me the place" He says

"Okay" i smile

And he leaves when jazz walks up to me and looks at me like she wants to murder me

"What's it?" i ask smiling

"Why was he talking to you?" she asks in a really rude tone

"Why you mad?" i ask again but not smiling anymore

"You didn't answer my question"she said with a furrowed brow

"Neither did you,but anyway can you believe it he asked me out today" i told her and she knitted her brows in confusion "why would he do that" she asked in a flat tone

"Well he said it's to practice the roles given to us, and now i will get a chance to get to know him better" i confessed to my best friend

"Wait is kyle the one.....you like?" She asked like she didn't really want to hear it.

"Yes....is there a problem?"i ask rather worried
