Chapter 1 Welcome To My Life

Alexis's POV

  "Stop focusing on that screen, you've been staring at it for awhile, it's not good for you!" I warned Sophie, my nineteen year old sister.

"No i won't, you never listen to me so why should I?"she spat back flipping her brown hair.

"Because this is America and besides i don't need to listen to you because I really don't have an interest in what you say about how I should dress!"

My sister Sophie has this long wavy brown hair that complimented her black eyes and just had this body that i could only dream of, she was a direct opposite of me. She would go shopping during weekends and get her nails done and have tons of boys to ask her out.

She rolled her eyes, "Tell that to the number of guys that calls you, oh wait, no one ever calls you except that weird guy that always wear those huge glasses and suspenders, um..yeah..Andy, only if you would fix yourself up a bit and look a little bit presentable."

"Are we gonna have this conversation again?!" I yell getting a bit offended that she involved Andy in this conversation.

"We wouldn't if you had just changed the way you dress just look at Jasmin." She said as she turned off the laptop.

Jasmin or jazz is my best friend and is also my direct opposite, she uses makeup and wears trends and also those killers that girls at my school call heels.

I mean who wears those things they are so uncomfortable and also i read that they are not good for the heel of the feet.

My best friend and sister always tried to change the way i dressed but i never let them, i think its completely stupid to dress up to school like it was some beauty pageant.

Well let me introduce myself, I am Alexis Coleman, i have dark brown long hair with a tint of black and also these piercing green eyes to compliment my petite figure. I have an older sister who has some sort of my features, we both got that from our mom. I have two best friends Jazz and Andy we have been friends since the 5th grade.

Andy has this honey brown hair that slips and has this green eyes that made him stand out. He is just like me and that's why our friendship lasted this long.

While jazz has these long wavy and silky blonde hair and fabulous blue eyes that when you look at them your worries would just disappear and she isn't too tall, but tall enough for her age.

So after the brief argument i had with Sophie, i sat on my reading table and played sudoku.

Yes, i enjoy playing sudoku while my age mates prefer going to parties and getting wasted.

I played awhile and then i laid in bed  and then i got an incoming text from Andy,

Andy:  hi  Alex

Me:  hi Andy

Andy: are you ready for school to start

Me:  nope i really don't want to see  Christina Hollister face

Andy: yeah..... She's mean 

Me: totally

Andy:  umm Aly i wanted to tell you something important

Me: okay spit it out

Andy: Never mind, it's nothing important.

That was weird.

He's always acting weird around me, Jazz thinks he likes me, but i don't think so. After playing sudoku, i fall asleep thinking about my weird friends.
