Chapter 10 Announcements And Sleepover Effects

Alexis's POV;

The sleepover was a mess it was boring and i don't think jazz had a good time either except the food part.

"How was the sleepover lex?" Sophie asked

"It was terrible we didn't have our usual style i don't know it was different" i confessed

"Why sweetie?" Mom asked

"Well for starters we didn't talk like how we used to and she slept of immediately after after dinner but i couldn't sleep and came down but to a horrific scene" i say starring at sophie who went red with embarrassment

"Which scene don't exaggerate lex" she say looking at mom

" well you did........"

"Can we just change the subject"Sophie says interrupting my sentence

I just roll my eyes,"I'm going with Sophie to the café mom" i inform her as we are about to leave.

It was a quiet walk to the café and though i was only going there so i have a hot espresso because George made the best and i learnt from

him how to do it.

When we got there i changed into work clothes and replaced Tatiana at the cash register so she could go clean the café. While Sophie replaced George and took over his work as a barrista and waiter.

One of the advantages of working in a café is the fact that you learn how to design on coffees,and that's why we all know how to do all these.

After the shift i was pretty much exhausted but my family calls it laziness which is not true.

When we got home we were to lazy to prepare anything because mom had already left without cooking we ordered a pizza and waited for it after we both ate we went to bed.

Rriinngg rriinngg my alarm clock went off. When i woke up it was so cold i wanted to go back to sleep but kept myself standing till i went into the shower and the hot water woke me up finally.

After that,i brushed my teeth and came out i weaved my hair into a single braid and wore a multicolored vest over a Long sleeved shirt and an orange trouser.

I went downstairs but Sophie was still up stairs i don't really know why she took so long.

I made eggs and toast and left some for her and before leaving screamed from the living room that i was going to school.

Then the doorbell rang and i open to see Andy, "hey what are you doing here?" I ask

"I'm here with jazz" he said pointing to jazz who was sitting in the driver's seat waving.

We both entered the car and drive to school listening to Rihanna's work with my earpiece and phone.

When we entered school we all went to class because we had the same class drama.

We all sat together but i kept on turning back to look at kyle but that witch Christina was sitting beside him throwing herself at him.

While at class Mr. Derek explained acting to us and thought that a practical was needed for us and as such we will be having a play by next week and that the auditions will be done in the auditorium after school and it was an essential part of our assessment so if we wanted to graduate we need to do a great job.

After the announcement the class became really noisy as everyone was trying to know the role they'll be getting which is stupid because they haven't even announced the roles available yet.

After our first 3 classes we went to the cafeteria and when we took our food we went to our usual table and began discussing the play

"Which role do you think you'll get?" jazz asked Andy

"I am not really interested in that i have stage fright" he confessed

I just sat there listening to their conversation until Andy asked about the role i wanted and i said "i don't want a huge role, i just want to be there maybe as a tree or something"

Jazz laughed"a tree really!!??, girl you are a great actress you should try out the lead role" she said.

"The lead are you crazy the chances i have of winning is one in a million" i said seriously

"But lucky for you,you are one in a million"Andy said softly and i blush a little and smile inside but i told "oh shut up"in a joking voice.

And he stops eating and starts looking at his lap.

"Are you okay" i asked him

"Umm.....yeah i am,i just lost my appetite" he said forcing a smile.

So it was quiet after that but i feel a little bit bad because it was right after what i said earlier, but why would he be mad he's my best friend he should understand me by now.
