Chapter 24

Lianna has woken up with her arms wrapped around Hazaki’s waist. She looked up to check him and he was sleeping peacefully, holding her tight.

A smile formed on her lips, thinking that everything is real and he is hers now.

She leaned close to give him a kiss but as soon as she broke it, he followed her lips and pulled her head back to him, and kissed her. Laughing, she kissed back.

"Are we going to kiss all the time?" she asked after parting their lips.

He laughed and kissed her forehead.

"If you'd like me to." he cuddled, sinking his face on her neck.

"Don’t you have a work today?" she asked, chuckling as she combed his hair with her fingers.

"I’m done with my work yesterday. I want to spend my time with you right now." he mumbled, tightening his embrace to her.

Out of nowhere, she remembers something.

"Yesterday...” she pondered.

“I am really planning to leave everything." she added.

"That you will live alone?" he looked up to her.

She nodded.

"I really thought that our first night is a dream."

He pulled her closer to her and didn’t speak. They stayed silent with their hands holding into each other until he spoke.

"Will you marry me, my Jilianna?"

She froze, her body is trembling.

She smiled and laughed.

"Wanna die? Why is it so sudden?"

"I’m sincere, Jilianna. I want you to be my wife."

"I understand you, Hazaki. What I’m worried about is that… we have to know more about each other like telling all our secrets and whatever. What if there is something that you won’t like from my personality and then you will leave me."

He got silenced for a second and he groaned.

"you’re right. But…” he looked up to her again.

“Is it okay that you are locked up in this palace?”

As expected from a yandere.

Now she knows what kind of yandere he is. There are four kinds of yandere; sweet, gentle, manipulative, and aggressive.

And Hazaki is a gentle yandere.

“It is okay. I promise that I won’t sneak out in the mountains."

He laughed and sank his face back to her neck.

"Don’t leave me."

"I do." she beamed.

He nibbled her neck before speaking.

"Are you that excited to say "I do"? You refused to marry me a while ago."

"Is it unlawful to say ‘I do’ to answer a question?"

"No. But it makes me feel like we are getting married."

She laughed and started combing his hair again.

"Do you think the world will accept someone like me to be your Queen?"

"No one can stop my decision except you, Jilianna." he demanded.

"Don’t flutter me, king. I might push you away."

He laughed. "Oh right. You are my silent x, my strong woman—“ he was cut by the growling of Lianna’s stomach that made him laugh so hard.

"My sweetheart is hungry." he is still laughing and she slapped his shoulder, with her cheeks flushing.

"Wanna die?" she threatened.

"You cannot kill me, sweetheart."

And then she attacked him, trying to kill him, but then they just playa around like kids. They prepared themselves for the day. They eat their breakfast together and wandered in the palace after eating their meal.
