Lianna was left in the room dumbfounded. She still couldn’t believe that there is no Princess or a Queen in this palace. And she was in a very large room she had never expect would be the room she will stay for a while.
The room is warm despite the cold weather and with just a look in the window, they are in the Peak of Hakku Mountain and everything is white, because of the fog. Lianna runs into the wardrobe and saw classical tailored dresses that smell so good. She closed it as she saw herself in the life-size mirror in front of her. She walks towards the king-sized bed and put her hands on it. It was so smooth. She pressed it and is so satisfying in the hands.
Her eyes caught the balcony where the breeze of air enters in the room. She directly runs to check it out and when she reached the end of it, she looked down to the deep steep drop below her. She couldn’t see how many mountains could be surrounding the palace because of the view of thick fog but it was amazing. It is so calming to see and to be here in this place.
She wants to stay…
stay here… longer…
She heard knocks on her door, making her compose herself and went to the door to open it. There was a beautiful lady appeared in his eyes with two palace guard at her back, who’s carrying her things.
"It is a pleasant evening, young lady. I am Kuri Lili. I was ordered by the King to escort you. Please come with me." the woman slightly bowed her head before walking and as a guest, she followed her.
She was feeling a bit uneasy to have an escort that is a stranger to her. She wanted to speak but everyone in the palace is so formal that she feels embarrassed to be informal too, so she chose to be silent for the mean time.
Her eyes couldn’t look in one direction, every ornament and pieces of furniture were so classical to look at it. She also saw meaningful paintings and beautiful portraits of the former Kings and Queens.
After several passing of doors, they have finally arrived into an open large spring pool. This looks like an infinity pool located in the Peak of Hakku Mountain. Half of the pool was covered with the fog and what is visible to her eyes were the post lamps in the edge of the pool.
Fascinating.
It feels like it is the most important place inside the palace because it really at the top. It was like she is in the sky and the fog is really clouds. This is beyond amazing.
Lianna was so stunned that she doesn’t know what to say and she had only recovered when Kuri spoke.
“This is a sacred reservoir of water, young lady. The water heals any bruises and sickness of one’s body once they have a bath with it.” Kuri explained, handing her a towel and she took it.
“His Highness has ordered me to you here and obliged you to heal your wounds with the sacred water, young lady. Please call my name if you have concerns.” Kuri slightly bowed her head before retreating.
She was left, feeling embarrassed with the kind treatment towards her. So Hazaki told the King about her bruises and obliged her to take a bath in the only one sacred pool in the world?
Is that how close Hazaki to the King? Is Hazaki the King’s personal attendant?
