Chapter 4 Alexa meets sir james

Late in the evening, Alexa and Kim were having a serious conversation about Alexa's next move . she's

 now an employee at her father's company hence, it was time for her to Carry out her plans.

"Lexa , what's your next move now that you have managed to get into the company?" Kim asked with curiosity.

"Meeting sir James , He is the one who knows everything about the Websters ." she answered with a serious face.

"Oh really ? Does he work at the factory too? "She asked.

" Yes , he is the supervisor at the factory. Alexa answered.

"Wow , this is good news  ,at least now we have the key to the closed door. Kim said while gloriously clapping her hands.

"But , I have something even better in mind." Alexa said with a smile on her face.

"And what  is that?"  She asked.

"You , To start working in the company as well,  so that you can be my spy," Kim answered.

"Wait, you will help me get a job ? awww am so thankful to have met someone like you.I promise to help you Lexa thank you so much, " She said with excitement .

"You are welcome, Lexa replied while hugging her.

The girls finished eating dinner and went straight to bed. Alexa was so excited to go to work the next morning.

Early the next morning , Alexa got  ready and went straight to work, upon reaching  she saw a tall and handsome guy opposite her,  coming out of one of the most expensive cars , he was being assisted by his bodyguard. Behold it was Michael , her very own cousin. 

Poor Alexa couldn't help but stand there like a statue  looking at him. she opened her small eyes very widely to see clearly who the guy was. After much struggle to see him closely , a picture quickly flashed at the back of her mind and she immediately recognized him from the research she did a week ago .

" It's Michael ,'' she whispered.

Michael majestically walked into the building . The guard quickly opened the door for him and off he went .

Alexa followed behind but as soon as she reached the main entrance, the guard stopped her. She was not allowed to go into the building because she was a factory worker and factory workers were not allowed into the main building unless they had  an appointment or given permission to.

"Please sir, I just want to speak to someone quickly." Alexa begged.

"Am sorry ma'am, I am just following orders please leave. He said.

Alexa left and went straight to the factory. She dropped her bag and started working .

The manager came in, he had nothing to do there but just to check if Alexa came in already , he greeted all the employees .But everyone was quite surprised  because he never greets them at all. He went straight to where Alexa was.

"Good morning miss beautiful, How are you ? By the way, the uniform looks good on you. " He said with a side smile on his long face.

"Good morning , am fine thank you , '' She answered while moving one step backward.

He smiled and moved one step closer to her , but Alexa was annoyed and uncomfortable with him.

" Excuse me sir,  I have work to do and please if you don't mind just call me Miss Williams. Will Really appreciate it , thank you." Alexa said while moving away from him.

He didn't say anything but smiled and went away . After a few hours it was break time already , a 15 minutes break and everyone was rushing to go get food for themselves . Alexa then observed that most of the workers there were male there were only 5 females there and all of them looked snobbish but she didn't mind she went to their table and said hi to all of them then went away . she went and joined Greg who was busy waiting for his friend who went to get food .

" Hi Greg!  How are you? " She asked.

Hi ma'am Alexa , am fine thank you and how are you? " He replied.

"Oh, I'm fine, I have a few questions Greg",  she said .

" what is it ma'am?" He  asked.

"Is there any other way of going into the main building without using the main entrance?" She asked.

"Oh yes , you just go straight down the corridor where the manager's office is, then turn left, that's another entrance, but ma'am I hope you are not planning to go there. I told you we are not allowed." He explained.

Alexa quickly asked another question.

" And also where can I find sir James?" You said he works here, but when I look around all I can see are young pipo, I don't see any elderly people in here."

She asked.

"Oh he is usually in his small office behind those boxes over there."  He answered.

Greg 's friend showed up and said hi to Alexa.

" Hi ma'am," he said.

" Hello, thank you so much , enjoy your breakfast guys ,  '' she said while moving away from their table. 

She quickly went and got a Burger from her bag and ate it as quickly as she could because time was not on her side and the break was almost over.

Alexa was planning to meet sir James at lunch time because it is longer than break time. Sir James only comes to supervise when it's almost time for the employees to knock off ,he is old so he couldn't manage to move around so much.

 An hour later , Alexa sneaked out of the factory and went into the main building through the back entrance which Greg showed her earlier. 

She finally managed to get in she went straight into an OpenOffice and found pipo working there, she stood at a corner quietly watching, 

behold a huge and tall man came out with another man beside him Alexa noticed that most of the workers who were talking stopped talking everyone suddenly went mute and there was a moment of silence .it was hard for Alexa to recognise her uncle because he has gained so much over the years and he now keeps beards but since she has seen his recent pictures on her research , she couldn't have been wrong about it ,it was indeed Luciano her uncle whom everyone at the company fears and trembles for whenever he speakers.

"It's him ,Uncle Luciano . oh my goodness he must not see me , wait he can't recognise me even if he sees me , oh silly me," She whispered while hiding in a corner in fear.

But then Alexa quickly realized that factory workers are not allowed at the main building , so she started running back.

Surprisingly, Alexa and Michael bump into each other. Michael just got out of a call with his girlfriend who just broke up with him. He angrily walked out of his office and didn't even know  or see where he was going.

"Ouch!" Alexa screamed in pain.

" Are you blind?"  Michael shouted in anger.

"Excuse me , you are the one who bumped into me , you know a simple sorry can do ." She replied.

" How dare you talk back at me with such rudeness? Wait a minute ,that uniform is from the factory and factory workers are not allowed in here. How did you get in?" He asked.

"I was just looking for someone , I have to go ," she said while moving away.

"The nerve," He said while walking away.

"How rude, how dare he talk to me like that, Alexa whispered.

She quickly got her stock book and started working .But the manager was busy looking for her when she was away.

" Hey , the manager was looking for you, where exactly did you go?'' one of the ladies said. 

"Oh really? I just used the restroom that's all." She answered.

"Yes , it seems you are having a close relationship with him , care to share what you have with him , because he never comes here this often," she explained.

The lady has always been so in love with the manager ,but he never notices her.

"Excuse me" I don't owe you any explanations , if you have questions why not ask him instead of wasting your time asking me." She said while moving away.

 It was Lunch time already , everyone went for lunch, But Alexa stayed behind to look for sir James who was in his office working while waiting for lunch to be delivered to him. Alexa went and knocked on his office door .

"Knock knock , "  she knocked.

"Come in please," he answered.

Alexa came in and was offered a sit.

"Hi sir, how are you? " 

She asked.

"Am fine miss ,'' he answered in a weak and old voice.

" My name is Alexander Williams , the new employee here at the factory." she said while forwarding her hand towards him.

"Yea , I have heard about you from the manager, my name is James Johnstone but you can call me Sir James or Mr Johnstone." He said while stretching his hand back to her.

"It's nice meeting you sir," she said.

It's nice meeting you too young lady," he replied.

Sir James's food came arrived.

"Come join me ," Sir James offered.

"Oh no , Thank you, maybe tomorrow. If you want we can be having lunch together. That's if you don't mind,"she asked with a little laugh.

" That  will even be great ," he replied.

"That is even better, I always have lunch alone. It's hard for me to move around because I am too old." He said.

"Great ! Okay I have to go now so I can have my lunch before lunchtime is over .see you later, Sir." Alexa said while opening the door. 

She came out and closed the door behind her ,she went straight, had

 her lunch and went back to work.

Few hours later her shift was over  she knocked off and went straight home.
