Chapter 2 A job application

As The Evening sun is low , Alexa spent half of the day searching and learning more about the company. As she was scrolling down, she came across a photograph of a young , tall and handsome guy. After reading further , she discovered that the young man was actually her uncle 's son Micheal. her very own consin.

Alexa was blown away by this information.

"Wow just what I needed to know", Alexa whispered as she puts her phone away.

She wrote down everything in her personal booklet  so she won't forget the information she gathered about her wicked uncle , her cousin and the company.

Later that evening, Kim got back from work and found Alexa  sleeping. She didn't want to wake her up because she didn't want to disturb her sweet and peaceful slumber. Kim went into the bathroom ,took a shower and went straight to bed.

The girls woke up so early in the morning and started  making plans on how they were going to move.

" so are we going?" Kim asked .

"Yes !" Alexa replied.

The girls got ready and started off. Alexa suggested they use a  bus, because she didn't want to waste time by walking.

30 minutes later , they reached the place  and the company was right infront of them.

When Alexa saw the giant shining building, she became so emotional , she froze for a minute, tears suddenly rolled down her cheeks , but she quickly wiped them off so that Kim doesn't notice her tears . But it was already too late ,Kim already saw her crying.

"No, off Course not." Alexa replied with a fake smile on her face.

Alexa couldn't hide her secret anymore , so she decided to tell Kim everything and why she wanted to work at that company.

Alexa and Kim sat down just outside the tiger shark building,  as she explained everything and the plans she had of taking over the company.

"People can be so cruel !" Kim said with anger in her voice .don't worry Lexi,  you will take back everything your father left behind. she added.

" Thank you so much kim. " Alexa replied.

"Hey what about you , where is your family"? Alexa asked.

"Oh  me , I grew up with my mother and my grandmother, I don't have a father, mom told me he died when I was still a baby. So that's why i'm Here working hard so I can take care of them. " Kim  explained.

" That's really sad to hear , it must have been hard for you.  said Alexa. 

" Kind of , Hey enough about me, now get up and let's get that job!" Kim said, while 

Pulling Alexa by the hand.

They both entered the building, and went straight to the reception. They asked for job vacancies .The  receptionist told them they didn't have any. But  Alexa pleaded and told her any available job she was ready to do . 

After some more convincing, she told the girls that the only job vacancy they had  was at the factory , which Alexa accepted without hesitations. She was told to go and talk to the manager of the factory who later almost refused to give her a job after seeing her good qualifications . But Alexa assured him that she  was ready to do any job , he told her they were going to contact her before Monday , since it was a Friday.

After sometime , the girls finally came out of the building .Alexa was smiling and feeling a sense of relief.

"Hey! What is wrong with you? You really want to work at the factory in your own father's company?" Kim asked in anger.

"Hey , Calm down . Will you? Its the only way for me to carry out my plans of taking back everything .what's important is that I get the job ." Alexa whispered.

"Oh yea , that's right ". Kim replied while nodding her head.

" Hey what's wrong?

Why are you crying? " Kim asked.with fear in her eyes.

"Did I say something wrong ?" She added.
