Chapter 5

NICK POV

"Wake up with your head sleepy, wake up" Sandra said waking me up

"What happened?" I asked

"You were wonderful, you knew how to please me and you were so tired you fell asleep" she said

"It's because you tired me" I said

“Oh really? Should we continue then?”

“No, like I said, I'm really tired and I need… Oh no, what time is it Sandra?” I asked

"It's seven o'clock in the evening" she said

" Alexia ! "I said and got up out of bed to put on my clothes

"Are you leaving? And who is Alexia?

"He's someone dear to me and now I've stood him up" I said buttoning my shirt

"So are you trying to say I'm the cause of what happened"

"You and many other things" I said and putting on my watch and picking up my phone, I left the hotel suite

It was good while it lasted and now that I got what I wanted from Sandra, she better stay here.

I dialed Alexia's number but she didn't answer, I really feel like an ass. When it comes to Alexia, I always give her a hard time.

I called her again and her mom answered

"Oh, she just left for her part-time job" She said

"Tell me where is it?" I said

She told me and thanked me for helping Alexia enroll in school

I ended the call and went straight to Paddington Street, that was where she should go

I was still leaving when I saw her walking the streets

I drove on the side of the street and slowed down a bit next to her and then I called her

She turned around and when she saw me she screamed in anger and ran away

"Listen to me Alexia, I can explain" I said while driving the car slowly beside her

"Go away Nick" She said and walked into a building

I sighed softly, if I get out of this car these people will swarm me but if I don't Alexia will never forgive me

I'd rather let my fans surround me than lose my best friend

I walked into the cafe and sat by the window

She was nowhere to be found, I thought looking for her with my eyes

I could see people looking down at me and whispering

They already guess who I am, just then I saw her come out and then she stood by the counter

There's a lot I should have learned about her

Since my return, she never mentioned that she had a part-time job.

I got up and went to stand in front of her at the counter table

"Why are you here? Go away, you're causing a lot of distraction"

"Not until you forgive me" I said

“It's so easy, isn't it? You offend someone and then you ask for forgiveness, like it's nothing" she said and I took my drink away.

"I didn't want to, I was just so busy"

"With Sandra right? Well go back to her and leave me alone" she said

Lots of people were already taking pictures of us

Even the girl next to her near the counter was taking my pictures too

"Leave Nick, your presence is emotional"

"I don't care ok, all I want is to get your forgiveness"

"I won't give it to you easily" she said

"So tell me what can I do? Help me ask her what I can to get her forgiveness" I said to the girl next to Alexia

"Alexia just forgive her" said the girl

"It's not that simple Grace, I won't forgive her easily, Nick will just leave here" She said

"Fine then, I'll leave but I won't give up" I said and left: making a plan for her to forgive me

ALEXIA POV

………

"You didn't tell me you know Nick, like in Nick, my number one crush" said Grace

"Nick and I were best friends a long time ago, when he left for the States we lost touch" I said

Now that they seen me with Nick, they kept looking at me weird

"Wow, now I have a friend who knows a celebrity" Grace said cheerfully

"But tell me? Why was he asking for your forgiveness? She asked

"Oh he offended me and knowing how angry I am he wants my forgiveness"

"Just forgive him then, if I were you, I would forgive him for everything" she said dreamily

That's it, you're not me and I know the kind of friend I have, not forgiving him will serve as his punishment.

As soon as it was nine at night we closed and when I got out his car wasn't there, I really wish he hadn't left.

I got home and walked in the back door

I was going to our quarters when suddenly I heard a guitar playing, I turned around and saw Nick with a guitar and he was smiling at me

"It's for you" He said and then he started playing it again and this time he was singing one of his songs with tenderness

:(And I'm so sorry and I know saying sorry might not solve everything)

: (But I want you to know, that my heart is genuine)

: (And when I say sorry, I'm very sincere with that)

He kept singing for a while and I sang with him I knew all his songs to heart and this one in particular was the last single he did

He finished the song and dropped his guitar on the chair that was outside and he brought a box over to me

"What is that ? "

"For you" He said and I took it from him

"Don't open it now, do it when you get to your room" He said

I nodded softly and was surprised when he put his hand on my cheek.

"I'm so sorry Alexia" He said

With him like this, there's no way I can't forgive him

"Okay then, you're forgiven" I said and give me a hug holding onto my shoulder

"Best mate I could have, now you're leaving, look what my surprise is and tell me what you think tomorrow" He said and waving at me before walking inside

He called me his homie, I wish I could be more than a homie to him, I thought taking the box inside

Mom was already sleeping, I gently unpacked the box and saw that it was the diamond uniform

He went ahead and bought it for me, I quickly wore it and it fit perfectly

I felt so happy to see myself in the high diamond uniform

Very soon I will also be a student in this school and I hope that by being there I can fulfill my hope of being a singer and that mom will not work as a housekeeper anymore and maybe then, maybe that Nick will notice me and fall in love with me....

I got dressed for my new school, today is the day I start, I thought as I walked outside

I walked out of the estate and then I saw a car parked outside

Mr Ben came out smiling at me "Sir Nick asked me to take you to school" He said

"But I can go alone" I said

"It's a duty, that's what he said" he said and knowing Nick, I couldn't resist

NICK POV

As soon as I turned off my electric bike at the school entrance

Many students were already coming after me, shouting my name

I was also going to start Diamond High today and knowing that it would cause a lot of noise, I came alone not wanting Alexia to accompany me and in addition I wanted to surprise her

I took my glasses off and was heading inside when a guy walked up to me blocking my way.

"You just like getting yourself into trouble, don't you?" He asked

"I don't give anyone trouble let alone myself Dave" I replied looking at my number one enemy

Dave Johnson, a singer just like me but he hates me and I don't know why, maybe because I'm better than him or because I'm more popular than him

"Oh really? Then why did you come to my territory?"

"Believe me, I wouldn't be here if I hadn't been forced, so let's pretend we don't know each other, you go your way and I go my way" I said

"I don't think it will be possible, on the contrary I think that something will always bring us together," he said starring in front of him.

I turned to see what had caught his eye and saw Alexia standing there staring at the two of us.

"Isn't she lovely" Dave said behind me and I looked at him before looking at Alexia again

She was surprised and I knew it....
