The First Day

Emily's POV

My name is Emily, Emily David. The nerd, freak and the one who keeps to herself at school. All my life I've been bullied, it started from middle school and now it just haunts me. I'm in my senior year of school and I can't wait to get out.

"EMILYYYY!" Screamed my older brother.

"Wake up its your first day of school baby sis."

"I'm awake Jake." I replied and sighed.

Today is my first day of school and I can't wait to leave already.

My brother is a football player and plays for Varsity College. He's been playing for 3 years now and he's probably the best player they have at the moment and he’s on his way too getting offered to play for a club here.

My brother and I live alone in an apartment, my parents had abandoned us when Jake just turned 18. I don't mean like threw us away. They passed away in a really tragic accident still haunts me every night.

"Have a good day at school Em." Said Jake as he kissed my forehead I just smiled and waved as I started walking into the school.

I walked to the principals office to get my schedule for this year and as I walked I passed the bad boy and his gang, he stared right at me and I got uncomfortable which made me walk faster and bump into the queen bee Victoria.

My ex- best friend. Let's just say she hates me for no particular reason she was fine 2 years ago I don't know what happen that she hates me so much now.

"Watch where you going brat!" She screamed.

I knocked my head when I bumped into her and here she is screaming at me.

"I'm sorry." I stuttered and walked away.

Just then someone stopped me.

"Hey Emily David right?" He asked and I turned around only to meet the one and only Luca William.

I looked at him and nodded. "That's me." I said in a low voice I could see Victoria watching me with anger in her eyes and I hoped that he would leave me alone because I don't want another issue with her. Jake knows nothing about what goes on in school and I'd like to keep it that way.

"Hey you okay?" He asked and I nodded.

I asked once again, "What do you need? Please leave me alone I don't want any trouble."

"Hey hey don't worry I don't want to cause any trouble I was wondering if you'd be able to tutor me this year, I just passed last year and I'm hoping to get good marks this year." He said.

"I won't be able to but I'm sure one of the teachers will assign you a tutor, now please leave me." I said and he frowned, before he could say anything else I walked away to my first class. Maths. Yay! (Note the sarcasm)
