Chapter 8 The cafe

Emily's POV.

"So princess, since you my baby mama you get to name our fake child." He said

"I like the name Riley, I realized its a girl after I changed its diaper." I told him.

"Well that's a good name, but I didn't need to hear the extra part." He said and I smiled, "Hey when you have actual children you'll have to change diapers you can't let your wife do it all!" I told him.

"Well I'm a one man woman so now, when we have a real child I'll make sure to learn how to change diapers." He said with a smirk and a wink and I was just stunned.

The rest of our trip was quiet until we came across a tiny bakery, the baby started crying, "You might want to check on Riley." Luca said and I groaned, "This child cries every 5 minutes I hope when we have a real child it doesn't cry this much." And then I realized what I said and all the blood rushed to my cheeks, "No I—mea."

He started laughing, "It's okay princess I know I'm irresistible." He said with a smirk.

Ohh if only I could slap that smirk of his face.

"Come on I promised coffee, this bakery has the best coffee and brownies." He said while unbuckling his seat belt and came to my side to open the door, "Ohhh Luca being a gentleman, what do you want?" I said.

"No I don't want anything, I'm just being the nice guy I am." He replied with a genuine smile and I gave one back.

As we walked into the bakery I noticed it was a very vintage style bakery, it was beautiful, I love places like this, when mum and dad were around we used to go to all these beautiful and now Jake is always busy we don't get time to spend together, but now he works and I know that's just for me but I miss him.

I turned around and gave Luca a hug, "Thank you for bringing me here, my parents would always take Jake and I out to places like these, how did you know?" I asked.

"A little birdie told me." He said with just a smile and I smiled back.

"Okay, now that we got all the emotional stuff out of the way, you need to taste their vanilla lattes and chocolate brownies." He said and held my hand taking me towards a table.

I feel like my life is gonna get better now that I have a friend like Luca I thought to myself.
