Chapter 5 The Assignment

Emily's POV.

Today is finally Friday, I got ready to go to school and ran downstairs to make myself some breakfast and seen Jake lying on the couch with a bunch of files surrounding him.

The poor guy overworks himself so much so I decided not to wake him up and take a walk to school instead. The school isn't too far so I grabbed my stuff and walked slowly making sure not to wake Jake up on my way out.

I reached school 10 minutes later and ran in before the bell rang. I reached the classroom door as soon as the bell rang and I walked in and sat in the middle row.

The front row is for the so called "nerds" and the back row is for the "populars" I don't think I fit in with either but I'm sure everyone thinks of me as a nerd hehe.

The teacher walked in, "Morning class, open your textbooks to page 175 and start reading I'll explain later." She said and yes she is a lazy teacher.

Just as I was about to open my textbook the teacher spoke up again, "Luca, this is the 2nd time this week you late to my class!" She said an I looked up to see Luca with smirk, "I'm sorry miss I got caught up with principal." He said and I wanted to laugh at the way he lied.

"Okay okay go take a seat next to Emily, make sure you not late again." She said and I groaned so much for staying away from the guy I thought to myself.

"Hey princess." He said and I groaned, "What do you want Luca? And stop calling me princess." I said.

"Please tutor me, and nope I kinda like the nickname princess it suits you because you look like one." He said and I cringed at how cringe that sentence was.

"Luca I told you, get someone else I can't do it." I said and looked away and started reading in my textbook so that he couldn't carry on talking to me.

10 minutes later.

"Okay, class now I hope you'll understood from what you'll read that you have to work with a partner, you'll are going to look after a baby, before you'll act like dumbasses no they not real babies they are dolls that are programmed to be like real babies." The teacher told us and I laughed because she already knows what kind dumbasses there are in this class.

"Now for the partners, Victoria and Jesse." As soon as Victoria was gonna inject the teacher said, "No you'll are gonna be with the partners I choose for you'll." She said with a smirk. I secretly think this teacher is a bully I thought to myself.

The teacher kept calling names and I was hoping that I don't get paired up with the dumbass next to me and luck is never on my side, "Ahhh my favorite couple, Luca and Emily." She said.

Does this woman want to get me killed? I thought to myself and I could see Victoria glaring daggers into my soul, if looks could kill I'd be six feet under.

"So princess, you ready to be my baby mama?" Luca said and I could help but laugh and say, " if only you would be my baby daddy." I said laughing and regretted what I said immediately.

"Heyy I made Emily David laugh and talk without being scared." He said and I just smiled.

"What's wrong?" He asked and I just sighed, "nothing don't worry let's go get our baby, baby daddy." I said and winked and he laughed after me.

Maybe this won't be too bad. I hope so.
