Chapter 9 The real him

Emily's POV.

After our coffee and brownies Luca took me to the beach and we just sat there in comfortable silence until Luca broke it, "My older brother passed away." He said.

I turned around to look at him "I'm sorry Luca, what happen to him?" I asked and took his hand in mine and he squeezed it to show he's okay but I knew he wasn't.

"He was murdered, my brother used to be in a gang they were the highest and he was the leader, but then he realized that it wasn't safe for him and his girlfriend. He fell in love and wanted to change his whole lifestyle for her but she cheated on him, and then he started going crazy he thought she was the one for him until he found out she cheated. The girl he fell in love with was from another gang she cheated on him and when he went to go confront her she shot him, just like that we thought he wouldn't come out alive. Some guys seen him lying on the ground and rushed him to hospital, the doctors told us that he went into a coma but we still had hope that he would be okay, you know but that might've when we all planned on going home someone care and killed him in the hospital. He didn't deserve that, he would never kill a person if they didn't deserve it, he was the most amazing person. That's why god took him away." He said

And I was shook, "Why you telling me this?" I said as I pulled into a hug.

"You told me about your parents and plus I need to thank you after what you told me i wanted to try making everything better with my parents." He said while is voice was breaking and I just kept quiet hugging him tighter.

All I knew is that, Luca just puts on a bad boy image so no one can hurt him and he doesn't lose anyone that he cares about.
