Ethan [POV]

“Leah, wake up. We have to go now.” Ethan already has his outfit on, he goes outside to have a smoke. So far in his life, he was never the one that willing to go this extend. Not even to his subordinates, so why is it different from her, he pities her the first time they met but now getting to know her but he can’t seem to let her go. Was it sex that made him this way or she taught him to be obedient and finish his school? “Yes?” I look at him, he looked serious.

“Do you have time after school?” Ethan helps her to pack her things.

“I have work, I’ve missed a couple of shift. He warns me that I could be fired.” I answer.

“Stay with me, teach me, be with me. I will help you with the expenses. I have the money. Leah.” He offers her, something that she needs and he wanted her in return.

That ticks me off, no matter how poor I am. I have no reason to take his money. “I don’t need your money. Ethan. Now, send me to class.”

“Why?” He stands closer to me.

“Who says I need your help?” I walk out and wait at his car, we stopped talking and throughout the ride, I should have declined the offer politely, he has done a lot for me and I have nothing to give him in return. Hurts my pride but he’s right and I am broke, I don’t know what to do. He dropped me at school, and droves off, I didn’t even get to say thank you. I have to think about this later, my class is more important.

“Leah! Oh my god. Are you ok, he hurt you? Tell me he didn’t, I will track him down if he did!” Sheila runs towards me, she’s overreacting as usual.

“I’m fine. I don’t think he will find me anytime soon.” I lie.

“Where’s Ethan? I know my bad, I called him to check up on you. I was worried! I’m sorry don’t be mad at me. Please…”

“He left. Let’s go. We’re going to be late.” I don’t want to think about him.

I ignore her and walk away, I have bigger things to worry about. Sheila goes about her day non-stop and I pretend to hear her, my mind wanders back to Ethan. I could use that money to get the hell out of here, that’s an option that I already blew it off this morning.

“Of course. Let’s go.” She takes her bag.

“Leah, wait. What’s this?” Ethan stops me.

“No, where’s she going now, shell? Here, take back your money.” He asks Sheila, talk to her like they are best friends.

“She has worked.” Sheila reply.

“Leah, calm down. He’s trying to help you and you! Let her go. You’re hurting her.”

I don’t even know what I am doing, this pain it wouldn’t stop. He treats me like I mean the world and the next day, showing up with another woman. That’s expected from him, there’s no way that he will change, silly me. Thinking that I might have him change his mind, and he needs me. Acting like we are more than just a fling. “You, come with me.” Ethan shows up and drags me to his car.

“What the fuck are you doing? Stop the car. Ethan! I mean it. Stop now!” I try to open it but he locks it back. He continues to ignore me and bring me back to his house. “You are fired, Leah.” He hangs up.

“Great. I lost my only side income. [sighs].” I stared at the ceiling, he offered me to stay in this lovely house, become his tutor. “You should stay here. Leah, help me in my class...” He hugs me.

“I’m not that good, Ethan. You can hire a private tutor on this… st--doing that.” My legs started to weaken.

“You’re too tense. Come back to bed, we’ll figure this out in the morning.” His voice soothes.

I can feel his breaths against my skin, slowly I follow his steps, he takes off the shirt and continues to fondle me, all the way down.
