Chapter 7

The next morning the two guys that harrast me got caught. I have to see them in jail so that I can tell that it is really them and we can file a report.

"James, take your sister back at home. This place is not good for her." Dad said and Kuya nodded. I don't also want to join them while filing the case.

This past few days a lot of things are happening to us and I can't explain why. I don't want to go back at the hospital so I'm gonna be careful and not going outside the campus alone. Khyle and Mary visited me that day.

I am done with my rest so I came to school the next day. Khyle said that the my kidnapping insident got spread out the whole school and they are more strict now because of that. Everyone is smiling at me when I look at them. So weird.

I go straight to our classroom and none of my two friends are there so I sat alone. "Jelai!" The couple of girls call me. We are not that close but I'm good with them. "We heard what happened to you. Are you okay now?"

"Yeah, I'm good now. Nothing to worry about." I smile after.

Mary arrive while Khyle is late. The class starts and I can see that Marco is looking at me that is why my two friends are hyper. "You guys should stop." I whisper. I am trying to focus on our teacher.

"Lucky Jelai." Khyle whisper and Mary agree. Hay! My two friends are over thinking. Marco just help me and there is no meaning there.

The ring bells and that means second subject now. In this subject, Robin is my classmate. I hate this subject!

Mary and Khyle is playing with my hair when Robin arrive. He looks at me.

I pretend that my eyes just passing by the whole classroom. He put down his bag before heading to me. Oh gosh! No!

I felt my two friends stop from playing my hair. "Jelai," he said to get my attention. "Oh hi," I replied.

"Are you okay now? As soon as I heard what happened to you I want to visit you but I know that won't cause any good." His not that dumb at least he knows it. "I'm good now. Thank you for the concern." I smiled after.

My attention divert when Marco enters the room with our girls classmates around him. Oh yeah right, Mr. Famous!

"Anything to say?" Khyle said with her attitude tone. Robin shake his head before leaving us. I roll my eyes when he turns his back.

Concern my ass! As if he's really concerned. He has Stacy now and I'm contented with my life I don't need his concern.

I look at Marco who is sitting on the other side of the classroom. He's busy talking with those girls. I notice that some of the girls there is not our classmate.

My day continue and everyone I know ask me how's my feeling even the teachers and the principal called me to check on me. They said that the scene got caught in our cctv and my parents already have the copy of it. I am happy that they are helping us.

I got home exhausted so I fell asleep. Few more days pass and everything is the same. Me looking at Marco but he never look back again after that Robin incident.

Another news spread out saying that Robin and Stacy is broke up because of me. Other students who saw us talking that day and they took a picture so now Stacy and her friends are mad at me.

"Excuse me," I said when Stacy and her friends came up to me while I am walking in front of the library. They didn't move but instead they pour the water above me. So now I am soaking wet. "What the!" I exclaimed. I saw other students looking at us.

"Oops! I didn't see you there. Sorry!" and they laugh. I also laugh when they look at me I stop laughing and slap her.

"Oops! I didn't see you there. Sorry!" I copied her.

She looks mad now. She was about to slap me when someone grab her hands. When I look at him it was Marco with no facial expression.

"M-marco," they said. Her friends look like have a crush on Marco and Stacy with a shock face.

"I hate violence." He said before letting go Stacy's hand and pull me at my wrist to get out of there.

I don't know what will happen if he didn't show up. Maybe we are fighting like cat and dog now.
