Chapter 2

I was tired when we got home. Kuya didn't say anything the whole time so I go to every store and check their clothes and accessories. I know my brother he didn't complain to me so that means it has replacement so after I clean up I went to his room. I knock and he yelled. "Go away!" He doesn't want the idea of us going to his room so it is always lock but now it is not lock again.

"As far as I remember I said go away. You're not welcome here." He said when I enter. He is playing his ps4. "To ugly pets allowed on my room." I look at him sarcastically. Why is my brother like this. Sometimes I am thinking is he still mentally okay. His mood swings are different. As we know he is a boy but he acts like a girl having his period.

"It's just me. I need to ask you something." His one eyebrow raise but his eyes is still on his game. I sat on his bed.

"What do you need ugly?" If I'm ugly, he should also be ugly we only share one blood and genes. "What's your condition?" I asked directly because seeing his room makes me puke.

"What do you mean?"

I roll my eyes. "You agree to be with me at the mall earlier. So there will be successor. What is it?" He smile ugly at me. "I'll tell you soon. Now go out of my room!" The corner of my lips rose and I look at him like I am annoyed. If he doesn't want to tell me now, okay. I have no energy to please him specially now that I'm tired.

The next day I skip class. My parents won't know about this. They didn't ask anyways accept someone will saw me around but it's fine. I am with Mary now. I convince her to ditch all the class. She is the good girl among the three of us. I didn't asked Khyle because she's always absent she need to attend classes. We are baking some cupcakes now.

I am focus on mixing the dried ingredients when Mary asked me."Jelai, where is your Kuya?" I look at her and give her a tease look. "Maybe at school? I am still asleep when they left." I just nodded at me and continue her doing. She likes my brother, well I'm not sure if it is like or love.

It took us an hour and half making this cupcakes. "Finally it's done." I said after looking at the cupcakes. We watch movies but when the afternoon reach we are so bored and nothing to do so we decided to do the girl power. We called shopping, spa, salon and every girly things girl power.

We are just walking when Mary stops at a restaurant. "Mary, I'm talking." I saw her looking at the restaurant.  "Are you hungry again?" I asked because we just eat samgyupsal. She didn't spoke so I look at where her eyes are heading and it was my brother James with other girl they are about to exit the restaurant when Mary pulls me towards other direction where they won't see us.

We take a peek at them. "Who is she? Another Kuya's playtoy? What are they doing here? Dating? Kuya's taste are different." The girl's hand is snake around Kuya's arm. "Mary, what do you thin-" I stop talking. I look at her silently crying looking at my brother and the girl going away.

"Mary," I hug her and there she cried. Other people passing by is looking at us. I am a girl scout because I have my handkerchief to lend to her. "Let's go home." She whisper. We go straight to our home because her Mom might know that she ditch her classes today and her Mom will scold her instead of me who push her.

When we got home, Kuya James is still not here. "Are you okay now?" She laid at my bed instantly. "You sleep here, well tomorrow is saturday no classes. I'll call Khyle." She just 'hmm' at me. She need to rest because my playboy brother hurt her.

I start dialing Khyle's number. "I'll call Khyle now."

"Okay, I'll get my water." I nodded at her and let her go down. After a few rings, Khyle answer. "Hello, Jelai?" She said.

I sat on my bed. "Mary will sleep here, you sleep here too. She's heart broken, we saw Kuya James with other girl earlier."

"That sucks! Okay after class! You guys left me alone here. I hate you!" I just laugh at her and say I'll hung up now.

After the call I heard a sound of something down stairs because Mary didn't close the my door. I quickly run down stairs to check on her.

"Mary? What happened?" When I come to the kitchen there I saw Kuya James hugging Mary. "Kuya? Mary?" I saw how Mary push my brother and look shock at my present. "I.. I'll go.. uhmm," She didn't finish her sentence but instead pointedbup stairs and run. I saw Kuya James smiling like an idiot.

He looks at me. "What?" Then he walk out. I just roll my eyes. I shouldn't come down so that they can make peace. I hope Kuya can explain what we saw earlier. It's not that I don't want Kuya to Mary I love them both but I don't want Mary to get hurt because I know my brother. He's a playboy and his idiot smile earlier is making me nervous for my friend. I just hope for good now.

I look around and there I saw the broken glasses at the floor. Wow! So I am the one who will clean this up? Amazing! Tss!
