Chapter seven; I have a plan

Kyle's POV;

"You actually did it!" Ashton scoffed in disbelief. "He actually got engaged."

"I didn't have a choice, it's not like Macy is giving me anything to fight for." I sighed taking another sip of my champagne.

"That reminds me, i have a plan." Brian announced and we both turned our heads to meet his gaze.

"Do tell." Ashton encouraged him to continue and he let out a sigh. "Let's go somewhere more private."

We went upstairs and and into my room. "Enough with the mystery. Just talk already." I groan getting tired of the suspense.

"It's quite simple. Remember you said she would always run away from you?" He asked and i nodded. "What if she doesn't have a place to run to?" He hinted with a smirk.

"That sounds like a terrible plan. But let's do it." I decided and they both grinned wickedly.

"Stay in the bathroom and don't make a single sound." Ashton whispered and i did as i was instructed.

In a little while i could hear footsteps in the room and like i was told i was silent and hid behind the door. It opened slightly and someone immediately closed the door and locked it. "Hey!! Open this." She screamed hitting the door until her eyes landed on me.

"Kyle..." She muttered and she hit the door harder. "Let me out."

"No!!" We heard from the outside and immediately the lights went out and it was completely dark. But there was a little bit of light as the candle on the bathtub was on.

"Let's just talk" i say coming closer to her. "About what?" She stuttered moving backwards.

"Who are you."

"I'm Mackenzie Poiner. We've gone over this before."

"That's not the truth dammit" i raised my voice grabbing her arms against the wall. "Your eyes. Your lips.They left a permanent scar on me and i will be able to tell them even if you change your hair color."

She stood and still said nothing. "Well if you won't say the truth. I know what will be able to expose you." I say finally before pulling her mouth into mine and kissed her. She didn't kiss me back but then i felt her mouth move on mine and i slowly let go of her arm and soon those hands found it's way to my face and kissed me like her life depends on it.

So while my engagement party was going on i was in my bathroom kissing not my fianceé but my wedding planner. A wedding planner that was hired to plan for my wedding was giving me one of the hottest make out sessions ever. Reminded me of High School, the first kiss i had with Alexis and that night.

The lights came back on and she pulled away from me panting like she just did manual labor. I smirked; "You can lie to me but your kisses never will."

The door clicked open and her face was ruined because of the lipstick smudge on her face. I told her about her face and her face went pink with embarrassment while Ash and Brian tried to fight their laughter but failed as they both started laughing, making her fun to the mirror.

"So. Is she Alexis?" Ashton's Brown eyes sparked curiosity. "I know she is. I just need her to confirm that." I answered back and he face Palmed himself.

"We left in there for thirty minutes and you could gather anything?

"He was clearly busy doing something else."

"She didn't say anything."

"Whatever bro. Go and continue the party downstairs."

I went downstairs and spotted Penelope from far, she was sitting by herself. I went to her and sat beside her. "Tell me what's wrong penny." I demanded

"Nothing." She said and smiled

"Is it Brian?" I asked and she shook her head.

Definitely Brian.

"Why are you guys sitting in the corner? Its time to dance." Emily announced and dragged us both to the dance floor. The spotlight was on us and people stared at us. I took her hand and placed them on my shoulders and I placed my hands on her waist and we moved left to right. Right to left. Our eyes met occasionally but she kept glancing behind me. One thing was clear seeing Brian again clearly affected her and she isn't really doing a good job of pretending to be happy.

"Smile." i whispered in her ears and so she did. The music stopped and everyone clapped. Some guests had already started leaving because it was getting really late.

Penelope and her parents stayed a bit longer before leaving. I was exhausted and took a shower while Brian and Ashton were in the guest room probably talking or watching movies, i slept.

I woke up filled with energy and drank coffee as i was preparing for the office. Brian and Ashton came in with a bag in their hands. "We should be leaving now." Ashton said with a sad voice. "Why do early?" I grumbled and he placed his hand on my shoulders.

"My father called. I need to go to China and Brian has to be in London by tonight."

"Don't be sad bro. We will be back in a month for your wedding. Which i must say they tagged, 'wedding of the year' on magazines and all.

We all hugged before leaving. They spent only a night here and now they just left and it feels like i haven't seen them in years. And now i have to wait till next month to see them again.
