THE WICKED AND CUNNING SISTER

“Chloe, why do you prefer me to exchange your bodyguards?” dad said.

So the cunning Chloe came to exchange our bodyguards. I said in my mind

“Dad, I saw them kissing. Do you want the daughter of an honorable man to marry a common guard? Where are your friends' children that you wanted us to marry, how can your daughter marry a commoner, a nonentity, a pauper,” Chloe said.

I was outraged by her utterance. I was yet to comprehend what I did to deserve this from Chloe.

I heard dad sighed.

I knew a lot was on his mind.

“Okay, I will exchange them,” he said. But I won’t permit that. 

I banged into his room with anger.

“You are not changing them,” I said as I walked in. I furrowed my brow at Chloe.

She smirked wickedly at me.

“Chloe, just because of your jealousy you want to change him. Just say that you wanted him for yourself,” I said as the anger showed on my face.

“You are the whore, you always go after men, who can’t be yours,” she said. I gave her a resounding slap, she fell on the bed.

“In your life, don’t ever attempt to call me a whore,” I said.

“Lily, you are grounded,” he said.

“I am always grounded, I don’t care anymore, I am leaving you and your cunning daughter, I am going to stay with mom,”  I said as I furrowed my eyebrow before storming out of my dad's room

I went to my room, I was shedding tears. My eyes were now red, my noses running. I brought out my mini travel bag. 

I opened my cabinet. I started pulling out any cloth my hand could get.

There was a knock on the door. I ignored. I keep packing my clothes. The knock accentuated. Then the lock clicked. It was opened. I ignored it until a male muscular man came into my view. I looked up to find Matt beside me. My blood froze.

We both stared at each other. The chemistry between us was so heated that I had to move back to catch a breath.

I closed my eyes as my head touched the cabinet. Tears gushed out of my eyes like dripping water.

“What are you intending to do?” he asked.

“I am leaving,” I managed to speak.

“You are leaving, you are leaving me for her, aren't you supposed to fight back for your love?” he asked as he folded his arm around his shoulder, I opened my eyes to glance at the golden eyes.

Should I give my gold out to my sister because of her jealousy and my anger?. I thought in my mind.

But I couldn’t allow dad to change him. When I hung around and gazed.

“I can’t watch you as her bodyguard, it will give me a heart attack,” I said before I released what I said.

He was stunned.

He strode toward me. He leveled my hand into his hands. He pulled me into his huge shoulder. I wished I could stay in his arms forever.

We remained like that for some minutes before I pulled away from him.

I resumed packing, he pulled my back closer to his arm. He planted a kiss on my lip. My libido increased at a high pace.

I kissed back. We continued to devour our lips. I later pulled back.

“This isn’t right, I need to go,” I said, attempting to kill the emotion in me.

“Stay with me Lily, we will plan on how to tackle your sister,” he said as he pleaded with his eyes gesture.

I was so weak to say no. I fell on my bed due to weakness.

“Tell me, Do you love me?” he asked. I stared at him. Loving him is beyond words.

I nodded in affirmation. 

“Then stay with me,” he said. I nodded in negative. 

“Staying in one thing, catching a glimpse of you with my jealous sister is another thing,” I said.

The door opened. Daddy walked in with Chloe on his trail.

“If you go, you mustn’t take anything with you. Even your phone, your car, your card, and none of your clothes…” he said. I sat in disbelief.

I stared at him. I detected seriousness from his tone. I glanced at Chloe and she was smirking wickedly at me. I gazed at Matt, he was angry but pretending to be calmed.

“… And you Matt, you cease to be her bodyguard, you are now Chloe's bodyguard, Sean is now Lily's bodyguard,” he further said.

“But sir! …” Matt tried to speak up. But dad cuts him short.

“There isn’t any but when I am talking, my words are final. Next time if you try to renege my words, you shall be dealt with,” dad said. Then he stormed out. 

Chloe wiggled her tongues at me in a mocking manner.

“Lady Chloe, why are you doing this to your sister?” Matt asked in anger.

“You are now my bodyguard, there is no Lily anymore, you must always attend to me,” Chloe said mockingly.

“Don’t your dad tell you that I and Sean were personal and professional bodyguards? If we want to leave, we will leave,” Matt said to the surprise of Chloe.

“Whether you leave or not, you can’t get her without my help, and helping you wasn’t my priority. My priority is to have you for myself alone,” Chloe said. I stood up furiously and walked toward her. 

“You are doing this because you want him. Did he want you? You can see but you turned yourself to blindness.” I said. She gave me a resounding slap.

I held my chin where the slap went. She smirked devilishly. 

“You slapped me?” I asked.

“Yes I did, and I will give you another one, you are the one with blindness, or those men were blind to discern that you are ugly, I can’t even contradict you and myself,” Chloe said as he shouted on top of her voice.

“You are jealous of me. You may be right that you are more beautiful than me but beautiful is from the eyes of its owner. Your wicked character and your craziness are your weakness,” I said. She moved toward me, she smacked my face with her hand drawing blood from my nose. I groaned. I gave her a blow on her stomach. She collapsed on the floor and lost consciousness.

Hope Lily hasn't killed her sister?
