THE TIMING BOMB BURSTED

I left Lucas and Elvis to their pleas of searching the files and pictures we got from Ebony's place. I scrolled to the garden.

The place was beautiful. I touched one flower to the other. I love nature. I sniffed some, it smelled good. 

Whoever planted the flower was a gifted person, he arranged them in a manner that would allow people to smell a particular scent similar ) each other.

I was still strolling around when my eyes caught a particular flower. I haven’t come across the flower in my life before. It was so beautiful. I scrolled to the flowering plants. It was so nice smelling. 

Suddenly, my eyes caught something like a polythene bag. I peeped to check whether it was it.

Yes, It was polythene nylon, black in color. I went to it. I scanned for any guards who may be watching, but I found none.

I quickly opened it. It was a timely bomb. I moved back in astonish. I read the time. it reads 00:05:56. 

Five minutes to take effect.

I was in a panic. I calculated the time I will spend in informing Lucas and back again and the one I will spend running into any nearby bush to dispose of it before it takes effect.

I decided to take the bomb far away from the residents. Because it was an estate. Bombing Lucas's mansion will mean bombing the whole estate. Whoever had placed the bomb had planned to bomb those in Lucas's building and the environment.

I picked up the polythene bag, I ran out as if I was in a marathon race.

I saw a river by the outskirts of the estate. I decided to throw the polyethylene bag into it because I was afraid that it may burst out anytime. 

Truth to my thought, the bomb was busted just when I took a few inches away from where I threw it.

The whole estate shook. The occupiers of the estates ran out in fear for their lives.

I saw Lucas and Elvis with some guards running out. They saw me.

“What happened?” Lucas inquired.

“Someone planted a bomb in your garden,” I said. They were surprised.

“Bomb!” Lucas and Elvis said in unison.

I nodded. “It was a timing bomb, I have to run out of your compound to find somewhere to displace it,” I said.

We went to inspect the river. It was smelling of the blasted bomb. Other estate owners also walked toward us to check. We were still checking the scene of the bombing when the police vans halted.

The fire department also came in. they addressed the residence. They seek permission to inspect the scene. We were told to excuse them.

They taped the scene. They addressed and interviewed Lucas and some of the estate owners.

The media arrived. The scene became a crowd.

Lucas introduced me to the officers. It was as if I was watching a movie. 

Everything was the same as movie-making. 

I was interviewed. I narrated to them what transpired. They were surprised.

They were stunned at the swordsmanship displayed by me. Even Lucas was blooming and delighted.

Why did Ana always wander and get something bad?

Who could have set the bomb?
