_colton
I watched in pure horror as my mates body slump to the ground, I dropped the filthy rogue and ran to her. Logan a pack warrior dragged the raging rogue from Angels now shifted body and I cradled her in arms. Careful of her bleeding back.
"Come on angel don't do this I just got you, I can't lose you already." Hot tears flooded my vision and my chest ached as my wolf howled in sorrow.
"Dean!" I screamed to my beta as he ran past, he came back and looked from me to angel in panic."kill them all and keep that one for information." I growled out, pointing to the rogue still struggling to get from Logan’s grasp. He nodded and took off into battle. I quickly stood running to the pack hospital.
Angels thick blood covered my arms and stuck like honey, I gripped her small body tighter as I burst through the doors."Alpha?" I looked over to Evan the pack doctor.
"Help her! Help my mate!" I screamed, he nodded and grabbed a stretcher and set her on it. Her blood quickly staining it red.
He moved quickly ad nurses around him helped, I followed them as they rushed to a room.
"Alpha you need to stay out here." I looked at the nurse ready to protest.
"Please, we need to do our job." I nodded and sat in the small uncomfortable waiting chair.
"Colton!" I slowly raised my head to look at my sister as she sat next to me, tears pouring out her eyes.
"I'm so sorry she was just so small she slipped away and-"
"Jen, please." My voice was low and broken.
"Um sorry. Dean said he has the prisoner and all is well with the pack." She mumbled playing with her fingers.
I nodded not feeling in the mood to talk.
Dean is my sisters mate, my beta and beat friend.
"Alpha." I quickly stood as the doctor came in holding a clip board.
"Well she's stable, we were able to stop the bleeding and stitch up the wound. Its healing a little slower because of her being so small but she's resting." I felt relief flood me.
"Can we see her?" Jen asked as my voice seemed inaudible at the moment. The doctor nodded and walked away.
I slowly made my way to Angels room, scared of what I might see.
Slowly I creaked the door open and almost cried at the sight.
My poor fragile mate laid there, she was on her side and I could see the white bandages stained red, her hair was sprawled crazily across the pillow.
"Here I'll braid it again." I nodded and sat holding angels hand, Jen quickly braids her hair and then takes the seat next to me.
“I will go get her some clothes and a brand new blue sundress." I nodded again as angels favorite dress was ripped to shreds and looked like someone had spattered red paint on it.
Angels soft snores and shallow breaths fills the silence Jen left us in and sways me slowly to sleep.
