Chapter three (confusion)

It’s been four days since I was rejected. Every day it was getting harder to stay sane. I dragged myself out of the bed. I haven’t slept in four days now. I was beyond exhausted. I wanted my life to end sometimes when I see a car I just want to run into the road.

my brother has been preparing for my transformation. He’s my only family member left our parents died when we were young. We were raised by the alpha and Luna since my parents were the beta and beta female.

we were allowed to move out of the packhouse when my brother turned eighteen which was last year...

I loved the Luna and the Alpha as my own parents and if they knew what Drake did they would force him to accept me right away but I didn’t want that. I wanted him to come to me on his own.

The only good thing that happened these few days is at least I didn’t see Drake I don’t know how I would react to him.

I stepped into the hot shower and my body slightly relaxed. I enjoyed the water as long as I could and came out and got myself ready for school.

I hurried downstairs. I was greeted by the smell of my brother’s pancakes and bacon. I was planning to skip breakfast since I haven’t had an appetite since the rejection but that smell made me hungry.

I made my way to the kitchen. As I enter the kitchen I heard my brother said.

“If you didn’t come to this kitchen this morning after smelling this I would have immediately run over to the packhouse and kill Drake. I don’t care if he’s the future of the pack. If he can’t realize he needs his Luna to run this pack right the pack is still doom.”

“I love you brother,” I said walking up to my brother and gave him a hug.

He is the only thing keeping me alive now. I didn’t want to hurt him. My brother loves me and he’s the best.

I sit down around the table and my brother serves some food for me then serves some food for himself.

My brother is a senior in high school and after high school, he should be leaving to train to become a beta. my Parents would of be the ones to train my brother but they died.

I was already dreading the day he would have to leave.

We ate breakfast then my brother ran upstairs for his keys so he could drive us to school.

The ride to school was comfortable and silent. I just watched the trees as they passed. I wonder how it would feel to turn into my wolf for the first time. Would it hurt? Would my human side be thrown at the back? What does it feel like?

“We’re here,” my brother said parking his car in a parking lot not too far from the entrance to the school.

My brother got out of the car first. All eyes were on him. Like I said before he was popular.

I got out as fast as I could and made my way to the entrance of the school. When I looked behind me my brother was already surrounded by people.

Before I could turn around again I was already hitting hard into someone and to the ground, I fell.

I was caught right before I fell.

I could feel the sparks running through my arms. he was touching me, Drake.

I looked up at his face but was captured by his beautiful brown eyes.

His eyes held so many emotions. lust, longing, conflicting, and sorrow.

I couldn’t stop myself from looking deeply at him.

Maybe he regretted what he did maybe he’s going to accept me now I thought.

He helped me stand back up but his eyes never left mine as if he did he would miss something.

I was suddenly pulled out of his hole from behind.

Drake finally looked away towards the person behind me who was my brother.

Drake gave him a loud warning growl. That grabbed everyone's attention.

My brother growled in return and pulled me behind him.

Everyone's mouth dropped open.

My brother was challenging Drake.

No one gets away with challenging an alpha wolf.

Drake's eyes darken and the fur begins to spout from under his skin slowly I could see the anger radiating from him.

I could see my brother’s fur growing out too. I had to stop this. I couldn’t allow my brother to get hurt. his wolf wasn’t as strong as an alpha wolf. My brother's wolf can beat a regular wolf but not an alpha.

When I heard the first cracking of bones I ran in the middle of both of them.

Everyone watched me as If I was crazy.

No one in their right mind would go between a fight between an alpha and a beta.

“Move sunny!” my brother growled out. His voice was a horse and more animalistic.

I had to make one of them stand down.

I did the only thing I could.

I ran in Drake’s direction. I hugged him and began crying.

“Please stop,” I plead.

I knew he didn’t want me but if the mate bond is anything to him he wouldn’t want to hurt me.

He let out a low growl and pushed me away and walked away. I watched as he walked away into the crowd. Everyone was confused about how did I make an all-powerful alpha wolf listen to me.

I turned to my brother his face was still filled with anger.

“what the hell Sunny?” he asked as the crowd began to thin.

“Why are you getting angry with me ?” I asked.

“he hurt you as I turned my back you were back in his arms again,” he said. Now the hall was empty bell must have rung and I didn’t even notice.

“I’ll talk to you when I get home,” he said walking away.

I hurried to my locker for my first-period books.

By the time I walked into my first class the teacher was already there.

“your late miss Moon,” my teacher said the minute I opened the door.

“I’m sorry Miss John,” I said hurrying to my seat.

She didn’t respond but continue her lesson.

I sat next to my best friend Affion.

I sat down and take out my book.

“What happened out there?” Affion whispered.

“Nothing,” I said.

I didn’t want her to know how sad my life was. I lost my parents and I can’t even get my own mate to accept me.

“that doesn’t look like nothing,” she pushed.

“it’s must be just a little disagreement,” I said a little louder because I was getting annoyed.

“Sunny and Affion, If you want to hold a conversation you can hold it outside .” my teacher said interrupting our conversation.

Affion looked at me one more time and turned to the front of the class...

The day went by and I didn’t see Drake again. today was football practice for my brother so I stayed behind at school a little longer waiting on him to finish.

I sat on the bleachers chatting away with Affion.

“look how sexy Liam is,” she said out loud looking at a tall dark haired boy with green eyes. He was handsome but no one looked better than Drake.

What was wrong with me? Why am I thinking about him?

“I’m going to use the restroom and come back,” I told her getting up.

I looked behind me. The closet female restroom was way over there it’s not like I haven’t used a male restroom before.

The closest male restroom was in the male locker room which was right over there.

Everyone was practicing so I was good.

I walked into the dark locker and made my way to the bathroom.

I pushed open the bathroom door.

“what are you doing in here?” Someone asked me from behind,

I turned around to face the person. My eyes opened wide as I saw Drake.

“Are you following me?” he asked coming closer to me.

“No, I’m not I’m here to use the ..” I was cut off before I could finish the sentence.

“are you trying to seduce me that is why they ran into my arms this morning,” he said coming closer.

He was like a wolf and I was like a sheep.

“that is not what happened,” I tried to say.

But he was already so close to me. I couldn’t control my heartbeat I couldn’t control my need for him.

I began feeling hot and I was unable to think clearly. I tried stepping back but my back was already touching the restroom door.

He placed his hands on both my side stopping me from moving.

“Why are you playing with me,” he said. his mouth an inch from mines.

My body heats up even more. I wanted him to touch me.

He touched my cheeks and he slowly leaned in.

When his lips brushed mine I felt fireworks.

He kissed me softly. His lips were sweet, soft, and perfect it was like it was made for me and it was made for me.

I kissed him back and deepen our kiss. My mind was a blur and was fully enjoying his lips.

We pulled away for seconds to breathe just as quickly his lips were on mine again. This time more rushed and more heated. He was devouring my lips.

He lefts me up and slammed my back against the door I opened my mouth in surprise.

That was when his tongue slipped into my mouth deepening our kiss.

I mourn softly as he grinds against me.

“sunny! Where are you? “ I heard my brother's voice.

Drake dropped me and he just disappeared into the darkness.

“I’m here,” I shouted out to my brother.

What just happened? My mind was still in a blur? Did he want me?
