Chapter Ten

“Mine,” Drake growled out again still punching Jacob.

Jacob cried out each time Drake hit him. I began crying.

"Drake please," I cried.

Jacob has already passed out now his face was bloody and swelled.

“Drake, stop!” I screamed out.

He didn’t turn back he didn’t even bug. It was like he couldn’t hear me.

I wrapped the sheet around me quickly

I run over to them and grabbed Drake from backward he suddenly stopped punching Jacob. He let him go and Jacob's body dropped with a thud.

He used one hand and pulled me in front of him. I could feel his anger by his touch alone and I could only imagine how he looked at the moment.

I looked up into his eyes. It was so dark I have never seen anything like that it was like a deep void but his body was turning more human now.

“You had the heart to make someone other than me touch you,” he said with anger towards me.

I got angry too how could he say that and he has been sleeping with so many other girls.

“You said you didn’t want me what is wrong if Jacob has me he wants me,” The words slipped out my mouth and I instantly regret it. Drake let me go and before I could blink Drake's teeth has extended. he grabbed Jacob's body and ripped his throat out.

My eye flew open wide as I watch Jacob's lifeless body dropped down to the ground in slow motion. my eye’s filled with water how could he? I was so stunned I couldn't move he killed him kept repeating in my head blood covered the ground as Jacob bleed out.

“Do you think he still wants you now? do you think he still wants to touch you? he's nothing he's weaker than even you,” Drake said looking at me so evilly.

I couldn’t control the fear running to my body and I began trembling in fear.

“I can’t hurt you but any man that touches you I’m going to kill,” Drake said.

He approached me slowly and I continued to tremble . I began stepping back. every step he made I step backward .

I stepped back so much that I felt the hard wall come behind me.

“you’re mine and you belong to no one else. no one is going to touch you but me,” he said taking his last steps holding me to the wall. my body trembled violently as he held me by my neck . he wasn’t squeezing it. He tilted it to the side he sniffed my scent and his nose was now on my neck. I shivered in his action.

“your mine,” he said as I felt his sharp teeth grazing my neck like he was trying to find the perfect spot.

“Drake, no please!” I begged trying to push him away, I tried punching him but It was like It was nothing. He wanted to mark me. He wanted to force me to stay with him forever what kind of life Is that stuck with someone who doesn't me.

Before he could sink his teeth into my neck he was pulled off me.

Drake growled in anger.

“Mine he screamed,”

“Son calms down,” I heard the alpha voice but Drake continued to fight trying to make his way back to me.

“Stop,” the alpha said with his alpha tone this time.

The alpha tone is used to control wolves that are weaker but Drake didn’t stop fighting four other persons had to help the alpha hold back his son Drake was getting stronger than his father.

Even with help the struggled to hold him and pulled him out of my room.

I looked down at Jacob's lifeless body in the corner his face was unrecognizable . he was still naked. I went into my closet and put on a rob over me and used the sheet to cover his body.

He killed Jacob. I bend down and touched his lifeless body. All the happy few weeks I had with Jacob flashes through my eyes I cried out.

A loud cry come from behind me .

“Jacob , my son!” the person cried, I looked behind me .

The Beta and his mate stood at my door the beta female in tears while her Beta comforted her.

“My son is dead,” she cried. My heart broke. It was my fault I shouldn’t of allow him to like me I should of known Drake would kill him.

“it’s your fault.” Jacob’s mother said pointing at me.

I didn’t say anything I just kept my eyes down .

The body was moved out of my room and the blood was cleaned up but I couldn’t get up even my door was fixed since Drake broke the door.

I just sat there. It was my fault was the only word that kept going through my head.

“Sunny you have to get up,” I heard the Luna voice I didn’t even realize she was in the room.

I didn’t move or say anything.

“You should of told me my son was your mate ,” she said a little angry.

“I would have slapped some senses in his head,” she continued.

I still didn’t move or say anything. The Luna looked down at me sadly.

“the mate bond can be many things and jealousy is one of them ,”

“An Alpha feels it even more than a regular wolf, you really shouldn’t have tried to be with someone else,” she said. That was what snapped me out of my trance.

“Should I stay lonely and sad for the rest of my life? Look how many people get rejected and move on why should I continue to be haunted by my mate and he doesn’t want me?”

“You don’t understand an Alpha is not a normal wolf they need their true mate it’s impossible for them to run a pack without their real mate the pack will fall the wolf need his mate, need her love and support he can’t do without you he will soon know that just be patient the alpha eventually accepted me,” she said.

Maybe I was moving too fast. I should have just waited. I still caused Jacob’s death because I rushed and the guilt weighed down a lot on me.
