Chapter 10

SLOWLY GETTING OVER WHAT HAPPENED, I WAS chilling with Jasper and Monty. "Do you think they can still get to us?" I wondered out loud to Jasper and Monty as I play with the ground outside the tent next to the warm fire.

"I hope so." I scoffed at the word hope. Hope is all I can rely on. As much as I enjoy not having my dad around to boss me around, I miss the company. I miss Raven, I miss the people who can help when people are sick or injured.

"Thats all we have." I threw a leaf playfully at Monty. We were all caught off guard when a small drop ship falls down to the ground. I stood up, smiling at the parachute on the drop ship.

Octavia came out of her tent calling out for her brother. "Bellamy! Get out here!" Bellamy listened coming out of the tent shirtless, damn he really does have abs. My eyes turned behind him seeing two girls whom I've never spoken to half naked with a blanket wrapped behind him. Its barely been a full day since what happened to Charlotte and decided to have sex not with one but with two? My stomach felt different than usual so I focused on the main issue.

That drop ship.

"They're here to help us." I bit down my bottom lip to stop me from smiling so much. A body touched my shoulder, the feeling of sweat and body felt disgusting. Glaring at Bellamy, his face wasn't too happy that someone came for help.

"Now we can kick some Grounders ass." Someone exclaimed.

"Please tell me they bought down some shampoo." I flashed my head to the half naked girl standing next to Bellamy.

"Thats the least of our worries," I muttered. "Now I'm going to see who that was." I tried to walk out but Bellamy stops me by holding his hand on to mine, I immediately yanked it off.

"Where you going?" He leaned down, but I moved away. I could practically smell his STI.

"Where do you think?" I roughly answered back. "Go back to sleeping with the girls." I turned back round but he of course stopped me. "Bellamy, don't touch me!" He flinches back at my words, the audience seemed to enjoy but he told everyone to leave.

"Get in the tent." He flared. I wasn't in the mood to fight back so I did. I made Octavia come inside with me. Bellamy came instead with some clothes on, with his goons.

"Why aren't we leaving now?" I questioned, folding my arms in annoyance.

"No one's going anywhere." He warned at me. "Not while it's dark it isn't safe." I unfolded my arms not believing what he's saying. "We'll head out at first light; pass the word."

Octavia blocked Bellamys exist. "Everyone for a hundred miles saw this thing come down. What if the grounders get to it first? Bell, we should go now." This is why Octavia will always and forever be the better Blake.

"I said we wait till sunrise." He repeated firmly. He left the tent, I slowly did the same, watching him go back to the tent he had sex. I took a deep sigh facing back to Octavia.

"If Bellamy is going to ask for me, back me." I assured Octavia grabbing my jacket and knife.

"Why? No, Isl-" I cut her off as I tie my hair in a high ponytail.

"No offence Octavia but your brother isn't as smart I thought he would be. You were right about the grounders getting there first but we need everything we can find in that drop ship to get help." I rushed, holding Octavias shoulders.

"Be safe and be quick." I smile at her concern and swiftly move towards the end of the camp without being noticed. It was my chance to leave and I did running to the direction the drop ship, managing to sneak past the walls.

Sunrise was coming and I still couldn't find the damn ship. Footsteps shuffled in front of me, I whip out my knife that I originally made, hearing a familiar voice calling out the name,

"Bellamy!" Octavia called. I hid behind the tree realising I was closer to the siblings than I thought I would be. "What are you doing?"

"Go back to camp. It isn't safe." What a dick. Wait until sunrise my ass, he's going to the drop ship first to get what's in there.

"You lied to everyone. You lied to me. You just want whatever's in that pod."

I heard more shuffling and the voices became more clear. "Just go home!" Bellamy yelled.

"You always want to play big brother, huh? Well, guess what? Jokes on me." I covered my mouth to stop me from saying anything. "You're just a selfish dick." I can vouch for that.

"I did this for you! To protect you." He paused, my eyes widen realising why he's doing this. "If the Ark finds out we're alive, they'll come down. And when they do...I'm dead." He didn't fully admit to the fact he killed Jaha, but I hoped he wasn't being serious.

"What did you do?" She asked.

So he really did..

"I shot him."

Jaha. He shot Jaha.

"I shot Jaha."

I could hear Octavia's gasp and thats when I dropped my knife to the floor. Footsteps approached, a huge figure was in front of me knowing it was Bellamy. "I'm sorry Bellamy," I trailed. "But I cant let you get to the drop ship." The trainings I did in the Ark, came over me as I punch Bellamy kicking him on the shin, then his head as he collapse on the floor.

"Isla!" Octavia shoved me.

"I'm sorry Octavia." I left, dashing to the drop ship.

There was a point I almost gave up on hunt for the drop ship because the trees was endless, but I didn't. A huge ship from the distance, I chuckled running further to the ship. I stopped seeing Bellamy get to it first with a radio in his hands..

No.

"Bellamy, no!" I yelled to him. He saw me, he rushed to the river that was next to me and I ran to stop him. "You're going to kill us!" I dragged his jacket but he shoved me.

"And they will kill me!" He screamed, seeing the horror in his face. He turned back round throwing it to the sea, my face drops horrified by what he just did.

"Son of a bitch." I followed his steps outside the woods. "You don't care about anyone but yourself." I stopped my tracks in the middle of the woods.

   "Everything I do is for—"

"Octavia. I know!" I cut him off. "But we won't be able to survive here without workers up there." I said breathlessly walking closer. "So whatever happens down here, it's on you."

Clarke ran down to us. "Hey! Where is it?" I folded my arms, raising an eyebrow.

   "Yeah, Bellamy where is it?"

"They're getting ready to kill three hundred people up there to save oxygen, and I can guarantee you it won't be council members. It'll be working people." Clarke shoved his chest "Your people."

Once that was said, I paused my tracks widening my expression by that news. "Don't bother." I scoff. Finn came in and throws Bellamy, my eyes caught Raven and I ran to hug her.

"Raven? How?" I smiled but frown as I saw her head bleeding. "You're bleeding.." She touched her head then wiping it off as it was nothing.

"You're Bellamy Blake?" She says to a figure behind me. "They are looking for you."

Anger flustered over Bellamy. "Shut up."

"Looking for him, why?" Clarke asked.

   "He shot chancellor Jaha."

Clarke walked up to Bellamy, pissed. "That's why you wanted people to take their wristbands off! Needed everyone to think we're dead." Bellamy just jogged away without any care in the world but Raven refused.

"Hey shooter! Where's my radio?" She moved in front of him.

   "Get out of my way."

"Where is it?" Bellamy picked her up shoving her harshly on the tree with a knife to her throat. I was startled by the sight of it mostly shocked by his actions.

"I should've killed you when I had the chance." I grabbed the jacket of Bellamy and pushed him away.

"Leave her alone." I said to him, he moved back adjusting himself.

"Jaha deserves to die, you all know that." He turned to everyone. Don't we all.

"Yeah, he's not my favourite person, either. But he isn't dead."

I couldn't help but to get in. "What do you mean he isn't dead?"

"He's a lousy shot." I face to Bellamy, he turned to me and he was clearly shocked and scared but he tried to hide it. That's a fail.

A part of me was glad that he survived knowing that he isn't a killer and still managed to get himself to Octavia, but the other part of me is terrified what will actually happen to him.

"T-the radio is by the first river you see straight forward." I stuttered, pointing to the directions. "Go, before it's too late." Clarke, Finn and Raven dashed to the direction, I glanced at Bellamy standing in shock.

   "Bellam—"

"No." He stopped me moving backwards with his gun flinching away from. "I can't be here." I move closer trying to connect physically aswell as emotionally.

"You can. You've got people who can help you." I place a reassuring smile on my face, Bellamy couldn't look me in the eye so I used my hand forcing him to look at me. Once his eyes got lost into mine, it travelled down to my lips at this point I felt at unease so I let go of my hands.

"We should get going." I whisper. Bellamy cleared his throat and managed to walk beside me back to camp.

Bellamy is a difficult guy I've ever met. He's that type of guy that so punchable but someone you need and caring? I hate that about him so much, but I'm growing to him and I'm slowly getting use to it.
