Chapter 11

I was really regretting making that deal with Aaron last night. Not only was I extremely uncomfortable, but I had a massive bruise on my stomach. Admittedly the bruise was purely my own fault, but still it was the icing on the cake. I made an attempt to run out of the bathroom, but he whipped his arm up quicker than I could stop. I ended up bouncing off his arm and ramming into the counter really hard. Hence the massive bruise I'm now sporting.

Walking into school was damn near mortifying. I was used to getting a decent amount of attention, with my reputation, but this was a different kind of attention all in all. I had caught the eye of every single male and a couple females as well. I may not be into females, but there is something that goes straight to your head when you catch the attention of other pretty females.

Aaron had dressed me in a relatively simple outfit. I had worn outfits similar to this for a long time now, but the difference was the length. I tried to keep my skirts a respectable length, but Aaron had found my shortest skirt and forced it on me. It was so short that if I bent over too far I'd give the room a free peak. He paired the skirt with your everyday run of the mill white halter top, and he also added a leather jacket which matched my black 5 inch stiletto's. The shoes left the majority of the top of my foot bare which showcased my cobra tattoo sitting on my right foot.

It was safe to say that it took a couple laps around the house for me to adjust to them, but now I was walking in them like I was born in them. I was a little bit early because I was hoping to avoid the masses, but I had so obviously failed at that. To kill some time I went to the cafeteria to grab me a quick breakfast. Once I had my egg sandwich I went to find a table to sit at, but was brought to a halt when I felt somebody grab my ass and try to sneak their hand up my skirt.

My first reaction was to freeze in utter shock for a single moment, but the second I got over the shock I quickly spun around and kneed him where it counts. The blonde haired guy dropped to ground clutching himself and groaning in pain.

"You crazy bitch! What the F--" he cut himself off once he had finally put together who I was.

"What was it that you were saying again?" I asked while leaning in close to him and cupping my ear.

"N-nothing. I-I'm sorry." He mumbled.

"Touch my ass again and you'll get a hell of a lot worse than a knee to your balls. That goes for all women. If you don’t get the okay, then don’t touch what isn’t yours. Got it d-bag?" I snarl at him.

He quickly nods his head and runs off. Well, I wouldn't so much call it running as limping. A loud laugh draws my attention behind me.

I sigh when I realize it's only my brother and his idiot of a best friend.

"Wow sis. That was impressive. When did you go and get so bad ass?" Devon asks with laughter.

I narrow my eyes at him and glare for a full minute debating on giving him an answer before I bother responding. "You better not be mocking me, 'brother'." I even went as far as to use air quotes. "You have absolutely no idea how bad ass I really am. As for when I became so bad ass, well let's just say that I became one when I was forced to."

David chose that exact moment to come to my side and wrap his arm around my waist. "Hey ba... Dakota. What are you doing over here with them?"

My breath left in sigh of relief. If he corrected himself, then there was a good chance that he recalled our conversation from yesterday. I quickly yank myself out of his grip. "Remember our talk last night?" Once he nods I continue, "good. I was hoping I wouldn't have to repeat it. I'm not doing anything with them. I just happened to be... stopped right here."

David again nods his head, and tells me to sit by him in our first class. I was about to decline, but he gave me 'the look'. The look that means he needs to discuss something really important with me.

I sigh and make my way to my first class, curious about what was so important. On my way to my seat I notice Joe eyeballing my legs, so I clear my throat and raise my eye brow. His cheeks immediately darken and he turns away.

It seems like it doesn't matter how early I get here because there is never an empty seat left that's away from every body. Today is a bit worse than other days because David is sitting in the row directly above Devon and Jesse. I realize that they are eventually going to corner me and force me to talk to them, but until that day comes I'll be avoiding them like the plague.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a choice in the matter. I may have broken up with David, but he is still TBH's leader. Meaning that I had to obey his direct orders. I sank into the chair and prepared for this conversation, already ready for it to be over with.

"You knew that once you killed Gray somebody would step up and take over The MOE's." Knowing that I already knew this he didn't even wait for my acknowledgment before he went on. "I hate to say this, but you know their new leader. It seems as though they put a price on your head."
