Chapter 20

Krystal POV

The game start and all of us ran me, Laura and Dave run together while the others go to the other way. We stop when we’re about to turn.

‘Button in the grounds’

I look on the ground and notice that a string is attached on the ground so I tell it to Laura and Dave and we just jump and Nathan is right the traps didn’t show up not like last time when me and Lux go here. I wonder how did he know when he’s new here.

We continue to walk and when we are at the middle of the forest, a member of group 1 show up and shoot at my direction but luckily I avoid it.

We hide behind the tree and Dave uses a sign using his finger to communicate with us he points to the top of the tree meaning he will climb it and me and Laura needs to catch Jerome attention so he will not notice Dave.

Laura and I run and shoot towards Jerome and Dave climbs the tree. Jerome hide behind a tree and when Laura goes to the tree where Jerome is he’s not in there anymore.

“Argh!”

Jerome caught Laura’s arms so Laura can’t shoot him.

“Where is Dave?” Jerome ask

“I don’t know,” I answer

I look above the tree where Dave is and Dave is aiming on Jerome. Maybe Jerome notice that I was looking above so he look also and see Dave but luckily Dave shoot him first.

“Jerome Rineto 8 from Group 1 eliminated” the monitor speak meaning Jerome is out already

Dave got off the tree and walks to us.

“Good job Dave,” I said

“Yeah, thanks,”

Jerome release Laura and he smile to us.

“Great plan” Jerome said and Dave smirk “I want to play more so unlucky”

“Then you shouldn’t have let us see you in the first place. It’s your fault due” Laura said and the both of them laugh

The four of us stop when we heard a woman singing the voice is like the woman last night.

“Can you hear it?” I ask they nodded in response.

A strong wind with sand appears and I can’t see anything. It take a while before it stop and a woman show up in front of me.

“It’s good to see you again Miss Lacaster” she said and touch my chin with her long slender hands “You’re just like your mother…” she look at my necklace and touch it but it burn her fingers and she groaned

“A necklace from Werizgo I see” she holds my neck “You’re just like your mother stupid and a weak woman!” she throw me and my back hit the tree. I groaned and try to stand up.

“Krystal!”

One by one a person wearing black clothes showed up and the woman laugh like crazy.

“Take the girl!”
