Chapter 10

Krystal POV

“Wait,”

I stop and look at him. He walks toward me.

“What?” I ask confused

“Do you know who’s my partner?” he ask

“No,”

“It’s you” he said and when he flicks his hand a fire showed up and a rose  “Here” he handed the flower to me and I take it

“What?”

“I want you to be my partner,”

I don’t know why, but I blushed.

“Are you blushing?” he chuckled I quickly hide my face

“No!” I denied

“Yes you are”

“I’m not blushing!”

“Then why is your cheek red?” he ask “Perhaps do you have a fever?” he ask

He brought his face closer to mine and he put his palm on my forehead to see if I had a fever. Stop it Lux you’re making me a tomato face.

“Hmmm you don’t have a fever then why are your face so red?”

I take a step backward.

“I don’t have a cold” I said

“Okay then”

He gently pulled my hair aside that’s covering my face “See you tomorrow” he said and walked away

“Wait!” I shout and ran after him and I grab his wrist

I handed him my gift, he looks at it and he also look at me.

“What?”

“It’s my gift” I said and he take it

“Thanks,” he said then continue to walk “Oh and also dress up nicely I would wait for you in the hall!”

“Okay!”

I smiled and go to my room. I search for a dress or something that I could wear tomorrow, but I don’t have any of those. What am I going to do?

The door open and Laura enters the room.

“What are you doing?” she ask

“I am looking for a dress that I can wear tomorrow but I didn’t bring any of those,” I answer

“Don’t worry we can go to the shop tomorrow because the ball will start before night comes so we have a lot of time to pick a dress,” she said

“Thanks,”

” No problem”

“Did you ask Ace to be your partner?” I ask.

She sigh “Yeah and he’s so annoying,”

“Good luck” I laugh and she just chuckled

“Lux invites you?”

“Yeah how did you know?”

“Because you’re holding a rose,”

“Oh,”

“Lucky you” she said and comb her hair

“You will be the first one to dance with Lux,”

“Why?” I ask

“Well Lux doesn’t attend such an event and as you can see it’s the first time that Lux will attend,” she answers “He’s so mysterious and the only friend he has is Ace,” she added

“Oh,”

“The two of you fit together "

“I don’t think so,”
