Chapter 02: Missing You II

The next morning:

Jasper and Avi came downstairs. All his family members came to them with gifts and started greeting them one by one. Avi excitedly took gifts from his family members. Everyone walked into the dining room to have their breakfast.

Avi looked at Jasper indicating him to inform his family members.

“Mom, I am taking Avi with me to my office,” said Jasper.

Lina nodded.

Lina is Jasper's mother.

“So Jasper today is yours and Avi's birthday. I think we should throw a party” said Lina.

“Mom, I don't want to celebrate my birthday,” said Jasper with his 'I am not interested' look.

"You don't want, but Avi must be interested to celebrate his birthday,” said Lina, trying to make him agree.

“No Granny, I don't want any party” said avi.

Lina signed in disappointment.

After having their breakfast father-son duo left for the office not before bidding bye to their family.

“When will Jasper move on. He stopped talking with us. He only talks when it is necessary” cried Lina.

“I can understand but we can do nothing. He is like this from the last four years'' said Samuel while crying inside for his son's gloomy life.

Samuel Davies is Jasper's father.

“Yes, Dad Jasper is not letting himself to come out of Samira's memories and those are not letting him to move on in his life” said Alina, as she was feeling bad for her brother.

Alina is Jasper's sister. She is living with her husband Edwin with Davies' family.

“Yes Alina you are right " said Edwin.

“He distances himself us, and he become stricter at the office”

said Michael.

Michael Davies is Jasper's younger brother. He works in Jasper's company.

“Jasper should move on with his life then only he can lead a happy life” said Zara.

Zara is Michael's wife.

“You are right Zara.

I think I have a solution for it” said Lina, looking determined to bring happiness in her son's life.

“What is your solution? “ Asked Samuel.

Lina without saying anything walked to her room.

“What is your mother planning? “ Asked Samuel to Alina.

Alina nodded her sideways.

All the people present in the living room stared at each other with worried looks as they didn't know about Lina's solution and on top of it if it came out something which they didn't expect then they knew Jasper would set fire in their house.

“I wish Samira to be alive” thought Samuel.

If only Samira was alive his son and grandson would be leading a happy life, but it can not happen.

In AR:

Jasper and Avi reached AR both directly came into his cabin from the back side, so that Jasper could avoid his staff who were waiting to wish his boss on his birthday this was every year ritual for JD Fashion House employees waiting for their boss who would never show up.

Derek walks into Jasper cabin and finds both father and son settled on a couch.

“Happy birthday Mr Davies and Mr Junior Davies” said Derek.

Derek Thomas is Jasper's best friend and his manager at the office.

“Thanks Derek Uncle” said avi with a smile and turned to see if Jasper was going to say or not.

“Thank you, Derek,” said Jasper, remembering his son's lecture.

Derek chuckled seeing Jasper's expression.

“Derek,

cancel today's all meetings” said Jasper.

Derek nodded at him. Jessie came to his cabin.

“Happy birthday Jasper and avi” said Jessie while giving a chocolate to avi.

Jessie is Derek's wife, and she was best friend of Samira.

Avi thanked her with a bright smile followed by Jasper with an expressionless face.

“So what about your plans for today?” asked Jessie with excitement.

“As usual it's a secret between us,” said Avi by pointing at him and Jasper with his little fingers.

Derek and Jessie nodded at him.

Bidding bye to Derek and Jessie both left the office.

“Derek where they go every year on this day” asked Jessie.

“I don't know Jessie,

Jasper never said anything. He just changed himself into an emotionless person after Samira's departure. I am tired of trying to make him normal. l just hope some miracle to happen in his life which can bring our Jasper. Whom we are missing for four years” replied Derek, becoming emotional for his friend.

“Only if Samira was here Jasper would have been like before,” said Jessie while remembering her friend. A tear escaped from her eyes.

Derek hugged her while consoling Jessie. While in heart they were wishing for a miracle to happen in Jasper's life.
