Chapter one

Over a century ago a young woman with charcoal black hair and enchanting grey eyes and her mate were accused of a committed crime against all laws in the supernatural community. When word got out of her disgusting crime she was shunned out of her coven and sentenced to death, she had no other choice but to run with her forbidden mate and unborn child.

They manage to escape the angry mob and took hiding in a little cabin in the middle of no man’s land, the young girl sworn herself to her mate. A man with blonde, almost white locks and bright ocean blue eyes.

They were happy, no one bothered them and soon their beautiful baby girl was born. She was a spectacular child with her mother’s long black locks and her father’s eyes that seemed to have the sky and ocean locked away in them all at once.

She was everything they could have wished for and more, they were beyond elated. Until the elders were aware of their location and even worse of a crime.

They had joined the two supernatural species who were sworn enemies to each other and mated then, creating a despicable monster such as a hybrid child.

The young girl, Maryann and young rebel vampire, was set to immediate death by hanging.

The young man, Daniel was ripped limp from limp and his body set ablaze.

But their sweet little girl was hidden locked away and they had no idea where, they looked for years. But eventually given up hope on looking, little did they know the girl was living right under their noses the entire time.

The girl was raised by her mother’s creating an older vampire who had not turned her back on Maryann when the rest of the coven did, she cared and loved for the girl as if she were her own. By the time, the girl was old enough to know what happened to her parents her eyes forever shimmered with vengeance and anger. Only thing having left of her parents was a tiny heart locket with their pictures enclosed inside.

One by one the girl took her revenge against the people who harmed her parents, she made sure their death was slow and painful.

Only after watching the life drain out of the last victims’ eyes did she feel even the slightest of content. Vowing to spend the rest of her days in hiding from those wanting her dead, she’s been hidden so long she doesn’t know times have changed and people have started to move past that centuries old feud between vampires and werewolves.

She must learn all over again to trust, to love and devote herself to a pack, she have never had to do any of the above. Her father left his pack to be with his mother and her mother left her coven to be with her father. It was a tale as old as time.
