Michelle's POV
It was still mainly his fault, if he didn't tell Mason then Mason wouldn't have anything to say. I stomped out of the locker and kicked the door open, probably smacking a few students in the face who were peeking through the door.
They all glanced at me with amused expressions, some already laughing and the rest stared at me as if I were a whore and I went in there to take on the entire football team.
I dashed down the hallway and made my way to the front doors but stopped in my tracks when Kayla came marching towards me angrily.
A scowl was plastered on her face and her fist clenched tightly beside her as if she were ready to take a swing at me. "You're sexing my boyfriend?!" She shrieked.
She stopped before my face and unclenched then clenched her fist in frustration. "Last I remembered you and Damien were over, bitch. So don't come marching towards me like you own the damn school!"
"I will end you if you keep seeing Damien, ex or not you are a pig for doing something like that and I will ruin your life if you dare step a foot closer to him!"
Was that supposed to be a threat?
Clearly this puta doesn't know me. . .
"Listen Kayla," I spat as I took a step closer towards her. She backed away with every step I took towards her and visibly gulped at the lethal expression on my face.
She was also probably scared of the fact that my pupils probably dilated and turned pitch black because that's all I could see right now from the anger boiling in my body.
"If you dare try to do anything to ruin my life I will end YOU. This entire school will know about you cheating on your boyfriend with a lot and I mean a shit ton of guys, oh! and did you forget about sleeping with your best friend's boyfriend?" I inquired sarcastically.
I raised my finger and poked her chest hardly which caused her to flinch. I took a closer step towards her and lowered my mouth next to her ear. "You are not the bad guy in this story Kayla, I am."
"So I'll let you off with a warning," I smirked as I stepped back to take in her frightened features; eyes wide, fist tightly clenched, face pale and my sinister smirk grew. "Do not fuck with me."

I kicked the door to the house open, almost causing the glass bowl beside it to shatter. There's nothing daddy dearest money can't fix.
But this one, he can't, I don't think he can bribe an entire school to shut their mouths from a rumour they heard. That's not how it works around here.
I stomped down the hallway and stopped when I spotted Mason sitting in the family room, his face in his hands and his legs bouncing up and down frantically.
"You Bastard!" I spat as I clutched onto the frame of the door tightly. He sprang up from the chair and sighed deeply as he ran his hands through his brown hair once again." Please listen to me." He pleaded but I shook my head frantically and chuckled coldly.
"No, you listen to me! I am sick and tired of your games Mason, I've been constantly trying to battle this demon inside of me, a freaking demon that won't stop me from falling for you. But no, all you do is rip me apart and give that demon more strength than it needs. How dare you tell the entire school that I slept with Damien? I mean you've done some pretty messed up shit but this is too FAR!"
I tried to bite back the tears that pricked my eyes. . .
But I couldn't.
"Michelle you have to believe me, I didn't intentionally tell people that. It–it just slipped up." His voice cracked as his hands ran through his brown hair then down his face in frustration.
"Oh, so it wasn't intentional just like when you kissed Kayla and Laila!? Wow Mason after all that you want me to believe the bullshit you're feeding me?!"
He took a step forward with outstretched hands but I flinched away as I placed my hands before me in a halting motion and chuckled humourlessly.
"I hate you." I chocked out. He frowned deeply, his eyes following the tear that trickled down my cheek. I wiped it away, preparing to pivot on my heels and leave.
"Michelle you don't mean that, I honestly thought you did sleep with Damien and it kinda hurt I guess. But believe me, it was a slip up I never meant to say it out loud."
I stared at him blankly before bursting into a fit of laughter. He frowned deeply in confusion and sighed as I doubled over and wiped away another tear that trickled down my cheek.
"You're kidding me right!? You were hurt when we weren't even dating! Mason, I never slept with Damien. I–I can't believe you'd think so lowly of me and yes I do mean it, I hate you!"
He stared at me stoically and didn't say anything. I could have sworn I saw tears glisten in his eyes but that's Mason. He'd never show his feelings.
"Don't talk to me, just leave me alone. When you've fully matured–" I chuckled as I backed away slowly, my hands rising in surrender as I shook my head softly "–you know where to find me."
With that, I spun on my heels and dashed up the stairs. Something in me wished he'd run after me, beg for my forgiveness. I truly wished he'd run up these stairs and tell me over and over again he didn't mean it.
But he didn't move.
He didn't respond.
He just stood there looking at me retreating towards my room. I slammed the door shut, slumping down on my bed. I buried my face in my pillow then let out a loud scream.
The tears soaked up my pillow but I didn't care, maybe this is karma. For falling for someone too freaking quickly and in the end, they screw me over.
Karma for falling in love with Kaleb the first day I saw him. Turns out he wasn't the guy I thought he was.
Karma, for sending Mason to this town and letting him screw with my head with just a few kisses.
Karma.
For falling in love with him.
Within four. . .freaking weeks.
I guess what they say is really true.
Karma's a bitch.
