CHAPTER 17

Personally I would have preferred to skip all of our classes but Sky wasn't having it.

Right now we are in world history and I'm doing my best to keep up with Phoebe aka smarty-pants. She's getting everyone's attention, well everyone who is interested in the French revolution, with her smart questions and even smarter answers.

I don't want Sky to think I'm dump compared to her so I'm being argumentative and questioning all her answers.

Of course she doesn't back down because she's actually passionate about debating but I'm just doing it to be a bitch.

"I think that's enough." Sky whispers when the teacher starts going on about an essay we have to turn in tomorrow.

I flip my hair to the side. "I don't know what you are talking about." I innocently tell him.

He shakes his head. "Sure, play dumb."

I move closer to him and whisper ,"Well given my recent performance I think I'm pretty smart." I nibble his earlobe and he softly pushes me away. "I believe I made you blush.

He gives me his shy smile. "Not now Heaven."

"When then?" I ask and I can't hide the desperation in my voice.

"Maybe you can come at my house after school and we can study."

"Just study?" I ask, trying to sound sexy and given the way his eyes darken, I think it actually worked.

He clears his throat and removes my hand from his arm. "We will talk about it later, we are still in class."

I want to keep on pursuing this conversation but I know he won't budge. And besides he's right, class is still in session and I don't think he would like it very much if he was called out for not paying attention because of me, again!

After two more lessons it's finally lunchtime and I couldn't be more excited, not only because I'm very hungry but because I'm counting down the hours till my 'study date's with Sky after school.

We have never had an official date and that's okay, as long as I get to spend time with him I'm happy.

"Here." Sky hands me his apple. "You need it more than I do." He's teasing me I know, but I actually do need it more than he does.

I take it then grab his head and start kissing him repeatedly. He tries to resist, probably because he's shy but I don't let him. "Thanks babe!" I say cheerfully and give him one last kiss on the mouth.

"Oh get a room, will you." Ella says, breaking up our sweet moment. Gosh we need some time alone.

I sit back in my chair and catch Phoebe looking at both my boyfriend and I but she looks away as soon as she sees that I have caught her starring at us.

"You guys are one minute away from screwing right in front of us." Ella says, winking at me and I instantly blush.

"Ella!" Sky scolds her.

Ella giggles. "What? It's not like you guys are virgins." She continues to laugh but I'm not amused or blushing anymore.

Not a virgin? I know I am so she wasn't referring to me.

Ella's laughter dies down when she notices that no one else is laughing. Kevin poked her, mentally telling her she messed up and both Phoebe and Sky shift uncomfortably in their seats.

Oh you gotta be kidding me! Her? He slept with her?

I'm about to explode but Sky squeezes my hand and I look at him. For the first time in our relationship he's the vulnerable one, his eyes are begging me to let it go or perhaps not make a scene.

I decide to let it go because I know making a scene won't be in my best interest. And I don't want Phoebe to think our relationship has loopholes, she already witnessed one fight between me and my boyfriend and I won't give her the pleasure of letting her witness another one.

I rest my head on his shoulder and he kisses my head, a gesture which makes me feel a little better.

"You two weren't in class this morning, right?" Kevin asks, a question that is directed at Sky.

"We had a little bit of an argument and we went outside to fix it. We had a bit of a make up session." My explanation amuses both Ella and Kevin as they both laugh out loud.

Sky looks at me with disbelief but he's not mad and Phoebe just stays quiet, good. I know it's childish but I need her to understand that she doesn't stand a chance against me.

"I knew you had it in you bro." Kevin teases him but Sky doesn't say a word.

"He sure does. Never think I would see the day my perfect brother skips a lesson." Ella says, grinning from ear to ear.

Suddenly Kevin's mood changes abruptly, as if he just remembered something important and I have a feeling I know what it is.

I quickly look away from so I don't intrude on his thoughts. I don't want to be anymore weird than I already am, and besides being in someone's head gives me headaches.

"Don't you find it weird that the Rosemont sisters didn't come to school today?" He asks.

My heart starts to beat faster at the mention of their name or maybe it's the fact that I just read Kevin's mind like it's the most natural thing in the world.

"I think what's weird is your obsession with that creepy Amelia." Ella spits out Amelia's name like it's vernom.

Kevin shakes his head. "Not this again." He says in an annoyed voice.

"Oh but I'm just getting started. Let's face it Kevin, you like that brunette weirdo so stop acting like you are worried about all three of them because it's only Amelia's pants you want to get into!" I can tell from the tone of her voice that she's mad as hell but I don't dare say a word.

"No I don't like her." Kevin says defensively but it's pretty obvious he does.

Ella gives him a humorless laugh. "Yeah sure you don't." She tells him sarcastically. "I'm sure you are just worry about them just like you worry about everyone else who skips school!" She pushes her plate aside and starts to leave, no doubt to her secret hiding place.

"I will go after her." Phoebe dats quietly and follows her.

"What the hell just happened?" Kevin asks angrily but neither Sky nor I reply him because it's not our place to tell him that our dear Ella is head over heels in love with him.

Ella is still upset over the whole Kevin situation but her foul mood changes instantly when I tell her that I will be over at her house for a study date with Sky. Her eyes practically light up and her mood goes from bad to good in a second.

"So nothing frantic or wild since it's your first time." We are out front waiting for Sky whilest Ella gives me her 'words of wisdom'.

"It's a study date Ella." I tell her, hoping Sky comes out any second now because Ella won't stop going on about sex.

She's not even caring that other students passing by can hear her.

She rolls her eyes. "Yeah sure, I know the drill. My excuse was a camping trip so trust me when I say today's the day." Her eyes are full of excitement, her earlier dismay completely forgotten. Is she bipolar as well?

I look at her in shock. "You lost your virginity at a camping trip?"

She gives me a don't-be-stupid look. "What camping trip? That was just some lame excuse I told my dad." She's completely shameless about the whole thing and for some reason I like it a lot.

Thankfully Sky finally comes so no more sex talk, though I wouldn't mind having sex talk with my boyfriend. My boyfriend alone.

"About time." Ella explains.

"I had to borrow English notes but I'm here now."

"Oh well you guys go ahead, I have somewhere else to be." Ella tells Sky before winking at me.

"Ok." Ella starts to walk away from but then returns almost immediately.

"Here." She hands me about three foil packets. I blush furiously when I realize what it is. "Always be safe. I hope they are enough." She walks away before neither of us can react to her inappropriate gesture.

"I think they are for you." I have them to Sky.

Sky rolls his eyes but takes them anyway. "She's so annoying." He mutters under his breath and I laugh. Their relationship is so unique, makes me miss my older sisters.

"Let's go." Sky grabs my hand as we walk to his car.

We don't talk much on the way to his house. After seconds of awkward silence we fall back into our routine of playful teasing.

It feels good when he laughs and flirts with me. Looking at him right now I realize that I'm really in love with him. I will do anything for him, anything to always feel the way I feel everytime he's around.
