Chapter 9

Kaoru P.O.V

I started to woke up and realized that I wasn't alone...I slept next to Sasuke. I smiled remembering last night events.

- Good morning. – Sasuke said.

- Huh? – I said confused.

- Spacing out again I see. – he said amused.

- G-Good morning and n-no I wasn't! – I said embarrassed which made him chuckle.

- We should get up. – I said blushing a bit.

- Not before this. – he said and connected our lips.

I just let the passion and the love flow softly, a couple of minutes after we pull apart and I blushed.

- You look cute when you blush. – he said amused.

- Oh shush! – I said and got up to do my morning routine.

After that me and Sasuke went to the kitchen where everybody already was.

- Good morning. – dad said.

- Good morning. – me and Sasuke said in unison.

- Good morning Kaoru-chan! – Naruto said coming towards me and hugged me which I accept it.

- Are you okay, Kaoru-chan? – Naruto whispered.

- Hai, don't worry. – I whispered.

We stopped hugging and I see Sasuke glaring at Naruto.

I sighed.

Then I saw dad looking at me....amused? Why is that?

I was thinking about that while me and Sasuke sat next to each other receiving another glare from Sakura which I pretty much ignored.

- Here you go sweetie. – I heard.

- Huh? – I said coming back to reality...Tsunami was giving me breakfast.

- Thank you Tsunami-san. – I said politely.

- You're welcome. – she said smiling warmly.

......................I wish my mom was like that....

I ate silently.

- Kaoru. – Sasuke whispered.

- Yeah? – I whispered back.

- Why is Kakashi looking at us like that? – he asked.

I looked at Sasuke confused and then I looked at dad....his eyes......why is he so amused?.......Don't tell me....

- He knows. – I answered Sasuke.

- Huh? About what? – Sasuke asked.

- About last night events. – I said to Sasuke and then looked at dad.

- Didn't I tell you to not move yesterday? – I asked dad serious.

- Huh? A-And I didn't. – he defended himself.

- Liar! – I said glaring at him.

He started laughing nervously.

- Why are you talking to my Sasuke-kun?! Stop talking to him! – Sakura said jealous.

I looked at her bored and then looked at Naruto and Sasuke.

- Weird...I thought I heard something. – I said and got up and took the dishes to Tsunami.

By the corner of my eye I see Sasuke smirk, Naruto holding his laugh and dad just sighed.

After that we went to the forest to train.

*At the Forest*

- We will now begin the training. – dad started.

- Hai! – Naruto said excited.

- But before that, let me once again talk about chakra. – dad said.

- At a time like this? – Sasuke asked.

- I already know about that! Catra right? – Naruto said.

I looked at Naruto and blinked multiple times.......catra?

- It's chakra Naruto. – I said sweatdropping.

- Listen Naruto, I'm only going to explain this in a simple manner to save time. – Sakura said annoyed and cocky.

She was about to do it but I didn't let her.

- Chakra is energy that a ninja needs to use to utilize a technique. Basically control it completely and you'll be able to perform a great amount of techniques. – I said casually while Sakura glared at me.

- Exactly. – dad said with a closed eyed smile.

- But we already are able to use it. – Sasuke said.

- Yes but not completely. – dad stated.

Then I spaced out while dad explained the other things.......this is boring.

- Kaoru! – I heard.

- Huh?! What? – I said confused.

Dad sighed.

- Please climb the tree without hands. – he told me.

- Hai, hai. – I said bored and went towards the tree.

- But you haven't show us yet! – Sakura said.

I was now climbing the tree as dad asked me to.

- Can I go down now? This is boring. – I said to dad.

- Yes. – he answered.

I jumped and landed smoothly beside dad.

- Now you 3 try it. – dad said giving them 3 kunais so they can mark the tree.

They started concentrating and tried it and I observed all of them...interesting.

- This is easier than I thought. – Sakura said sat on a branch.

- S-Sakura-chan?! – Naruto said impressed.

Can't blame him I'm impressed as well, not bad indeed.

- Oh? It looks like the girls are better. – dad said and she was all smiling and smirked at me.

........you wanna play uh?

I smirked.

- Not bad indeed, Sakura. – I said going towards the tree she was in.

- Not bad?! It's perfect! – she said cocky.

- But well...let's say that the tree starts to fall or shake. Can you still stand without losing your balance? – I asked.

- Of course! And that's a stupid situation! – she said.

- Is it? – I asked smirking.

I raised my right hand and started concentrating chakra on it.................done.

- Let's test it, shall we? – I said smirking and turned my hand into fist and punched the ground.

The tree started to shake, the ground was opening in half and the tree was now falling which made Sakura lose her balance.

But because I'm not THAT mean I caught her and landed safely on the ground.

Dad sweatdropped while the others looked at me scared and with eyes wide open. I looked behind me............maybe it was too much.

- See? Don't get cocky Sakura. – I said coldly and she just looked at me shocked while Naruto and Sasuke were still looking at me.

- Get to work guys at this rate I'm the one who will become Hokage! – I said amused and Naruto looked at me determined.

- About the Uchiha clan being so great...it appears it isn't as great as I thought. – dad said.

They both got serious and started training harder.....boys.

While they were training I went to dad's side.

- Can you...h-help me? – I asked quietly to dad looking the other way embarrassed.

- Huh? In what? – he asked.

- T-Training. – I answered.

He gave me a closed eyed smile and nodded.

With that we went further away from them.

- So what do you want to train? – he asked.

- C-Could y-you...perhaps...teach m-me you know...could y-you teach me h-how to do y-your jutsu? – I asked still embarrassed.

- Huh? You mean Chidori? – he asked and I nodded slightly.

He smiled warmly and nodded.

- T-Thank you. – I said.

He taught me and I was now trying to do it but each time I would fail.

- Damn it! – I said frustrated.

- It takes time Kaoru. Didn't it take time for you to learn the Rasengan? – he asked.

- Y-Yes...a bit. – I said looking down.

He put his hand on my head and I looked up.

- I believe in you sweetheart. I'll let you train alone now, if you need anything just ask. – he said.

I widened my eyes a bit.

- H-Hai...t-thanks dad. – I said.

- You're welcome. – he said happy and left.

Now...let's continue training.

*At Nightfall*

I fell to the ground panting...damn it still can't do it!

- Damn you! Don't bother me when I'm concentrating! – I heard Naruto.

I sighed.

Those 2 are noisy...well I better go there and check on them. I got up and went to where they were, I was now leaning against a tree hearing them since they didn't notice I was there.

- Um, well... - Sasuke started.

- What? – Naruto asked.

I raised an eyebrow.

- Y-You asked Sakura for tips before, right? – Sasuke asked looking the other way.

Ohh! I see now!

- W-What did she tell you? – Sasuke asked embarrassed.

Naruto widened his eyes a bit and grinned in a malefic way and then said.

- I won't tell you.

- What..? – Sasuke said.

I chuckled.

- You know...if you 2 stopped trying making this a competition between you, you would be able to concentrate more. – I said.

- Kaoru-chan! – Naruto said grinning.

I smiled at him.

- Are you okay? – Sasuke asked.

- Sure, I'm just tired because of training. – I said smiling.

He nodded and Naruto looked at him with a malefic smile.

- What? – Sasuke asked him.

- You were worried about her. – Naruto said amused and Sasuke blushed.

- You don't need to. – I said to Sasuke putting my hand on his shoulder which made him blush more.

- Hahahahaha! Look at him, he's blushing! – Naruto said laughing.

- S-Shut up! – Sasuke said.

- C'mon you 2, let's go. I'm hungry. – I said grabbing their hands and pulling them.

- Hai! – Naruto said happy while Sasuke looked the other way still blushing a bit.

*At Dinner*

- This is really fun! It's been a while since I ate with this many people! – Tazuna said happy.

I couldn't eat, I was just looking at Sasuke and Naruto eating like they were pigs.

- More, please! – they said in unison.

They glared at each other and suddenly they threw up....

BONK

- Don't eat if you're gonna throw up! – I said mad after hitting them both.

- No, I'll eat. – Sasuke said.

- I ha to eat even if I have to force myself...I have to become strong quickly. – Naruto said.

- But throwing up isn't good. – dad said sweatdropping.

They were about to start eating like pigs again but I interrupted them.

- You 2... - I said murderously.

They stopped and looked at me.

- If you throw up again, I'll make you eat what you threw up...am I clear? – I said evilly.

- H-Hai. – they answered.

*After Dinner*

- Umm...why are you hanging a torn picture? – Sakura asked.

I mentally face palmed.

- It's my husband. – Tsunami said calmly.

I could sense Inari tense.

- He was the man known as the hero of this town. – Tazuna said.

Inari got up and was about to leave.

- Inari, where are you going? – Tsunami asked him.

He didn't answer and left...his eyes...

- Father I told you not to talk about him in front of Inari. – Tsunami said and left to look for him.

So that's what a caring mother is...

- What's wrong with Inari-kun? – Sakura asked.

- Baka. – I mumbled and got up.

- WHAT DID YOU SAY?! – she said.

- Baka. You should shut up once in a while. – I said to her and left to my room.

I'm not going to stay there while Tazuna tells them their story...it's none of our business.

*Later at Night*

I heard the door open, I looked and saw Sasuke which made me smile slightly.

- Why did you left? – he asked closing the door.

- It's none of our business to know about their lives, Sakura should be careful or at least think before saying something. – I said.

- I see... - he said coming sit at my side.

I put my head on his shoulder.

- Let's sleep, you're tired. – I said to him.

- N-No I'm not! – he said.

- Ohh really?! Stand without your legs trembling. – I said amused.

He glared at me which made me chuckle.

- That's what I thought, let's sleep. – I said.

- Fine. – he said giving in.

With that the darkness consumed me and so did the nightmare with memories of the past.
