Chapter 4

Kaoru P.O.V

I woke up earlier than usual so I decided to just go to the Academy, all the way there I was thinking about Naruto and how was he doing.

I opened the classroom door and was greeted by...

- Good morning Kaoru-chan! – Naruto said grinning.

I widened my eyes.

- I passed believe it! – he said happy.

I immediately hugged him.

- K-Kaoru-chan? – he said surprised.

- Congratulations! – I said still hugging him.

We stopped and he grinned at me.

I let him speak to the others and went to my seat next to Sasuke.

- Morning. – I said calmly.

- Hn. – he said.

I sweatdrop.

- Need a dictionary? – I asked him and he raised an eyebrow in confusion.

- You know, to improve your vocabulary. – I said with a smirk which was answered with a small glare from him.

- Not my fault that you forgot how to speak! I don't even know why you have fangirls! – I said amused with him still glaring at me.

- HEY TEME! – Naruto said.

- Huh? – Sasuke said looking at Naruto.

- Stop glaring at Kaoru-chan! – Naruto said.

- Hn. – Sasuke said.

Suddenly Naruto went to our table and climbed it and was now in front of Sasuke's face.

They were now glaring at each other which made the fangirls come.

- Stop glaring at my Sasuke-kun! – Sakura said.

I raised an eyebrow....did she just said "my Sasuke-kun"?

They continued glaring when someone behind Naruto touched him which made Naruto loose balance and...KISS SASUKE!!!

I blinked multiple times.

The other guys started laughing while Naruto and Sasuke started coughing and gagging after the kiss.

- YOU IDIOT! I'M GONNA KILL YOU! – Sasuke said.

- SHUT UP! – Naruto said.

I was holding back my laughter so hard!

Then I felt someone spying..........I looked up.....there.

I grabbed a needle and before throwing it I mouthed.

- Perverts.

Hokage P.O.V

- Perverts. – Kaoru mouthed and then threw a needle so we wouldn't see anymore.

- She...she noticed? – Kurenai said.

- Yes...remarkable. – I said impressed.

Kaoru P.O.V

After that I noticed the fangirls glaring at Naruto.

- Naruto...you... - Sakura said mad.

- It was an accident! – he defended himself.

Sakura looked at him with venom and said.

- You're annoying.

I narrowed my eyes at her, Naruto looked at all of the fangirls with fear in his eyes.

Sakura was now about to punch him but I got up and grabbed her hand.

- K-Kaoru-chan. – Naruto said surprised.

She tried to take her hand off of my grip but I just grabbed harder.

- Sakura...touch Naruto and I will kill you without hesitation. – I said with venom.

She trembled with fear.

I looked to all of the other fangirls and let go of Sakura's hand.

- This goes to all of you...if any of you tries to hit Naruto you'll have to deal with me. Am I clear? – I said in a scary tone.

They all nodded scared.

I sat and Naruto sat beside me, so I was in the middle of Sasuke and Naruto.

The fangirls left to their seats and Naruto whispered to me.

- Thank you Kaoru-chan!

- You're welcome. – I said with a small smile.

Then I looked at them and smiled evilly.

- Besides...I ship NaruSasu. - I said amused.

They both glared at me which made me chuckle a bit and with that Iruka arrived.

- Starting today you are all official ninjas but...you all are still new genins. It's going to get harder from here, you all will be in a group of 3. I'm going to tell you the teams now. – Iruka announced.

(Moving Forward because I'm lazy as Shikamaru)

- Team 7...Uzumaki Naruto, Haruno Sakura. – Iruka started.

Naruto got excited and Sakura depressed.

- Uchiha Sasuke. – Iruka continued.

Then those 2 changed moods.

- And because of odd number Hatake Kaoru. – Iruka finished.

Naruto and Sakura changed moods again.

From the corner of my eye I see Sasuke smirk, I looked at him amused.

- Happy for me being on your team? – I whispered to Sasuke.

- I'm just glad I have another normal person on my team besides me, that's all. – he answered.

I sweatdrop.

From behind me I heard Sakura and Ino fighting over Sasuke but then I heard Shikamaru.

- Why do you girls like such a guy anyway? – he said.

- Don't you even know that, Shikamaru? – Ino said.

- I'm not a girl. – he answered bored.

I smirked...he's still the same. Good to know.

- That's why you're not popular. I wouldn't want to team up with a guy like you. – Ino said to Shikamaru.

- Team 10. Yamanaka Ino, Nara Shikamaru and Akimichi Choji. – Iruka announced.

I smirked.

- What were you saying about not wanting to be in a team with me? – Shikamaru said.

- Nee, Ino. – I said looking at her.

- Y-Yeah? – she said.

- Want to make a deal? – I asked her.

- I'm listening. – she said curious.

- What about Shikamaru comes to my team and Sakura there goes to yours? – I said.

- HEEE?! – Ino and Sakura said.

Shikamaru smirked.

- See. Why isn't Kaoru madly in love with Sasuke? – Shikamaru asked.

- Because I have a brain, Shika. – I said calling him by the nickname I gave him when we were kids.

He smiled slightly.

- Good to have you back, Kaoru. – he said.

- It is indeed. – I said and turned around.

Me and Shikamaru always got along pretty well and he amazes me with his intelligence.

- IRUKA-SENSEI! – Naruto screamed which made me jump a bit because it scared me.

I then see Sasuke smirk.

- What are you smirking at duckbutt?! – I said.

- Don't call me that! – Sasuke said glaring.

- Why is a top student like me in a group with Sasuke? – Naruto asked.

Iruka looked at Naruto and said.

- Sasuke graduated with second highest scores and you, Naruto, had the worst scores. – he stated.

I sweatdrop, poor Naruto.

- Wait! Iruka-sensei who had the highest scores if Sasuke-kun was second? – Sakura asked curious.

- Kaoru did. – Iruka said smiling proudly.

I shrugged it while the fangirls sent me death glares.

- Just don't get in my way knucklehead. – Sasuke said to Naruto.

- WHAT DID YOU SAY?! – Naruto asked mad.

- You want to fight, knucklehead? – Sasuke said.

- KNUCKLEHEAD?! WHY YOU!! – Naruto said.

I was getting annoyed.

BONK

- Shut up both of you! Just suck it up! – I said to them and they looked the other way mad.

I sighed.

- Well...you'll get to know your jounin teachers in the afternoon, so go and have lunch and then come back here. – Iruka explained.

I started leaving when Sasuke same next to me.

- D-Do you want to lunch with me at my house? – he asked.

I raised an eyebrow.

- I bought dangos for you. – Sasuke said.

My eyes lighted up and I nodded and we went there and started eating.

- SO GOOD! Thank you Sasuke! – I said eating my dangos.

He smirked.

- You should smile more often. – he said.

I stopped and looked at the ground...I do miss that time but...it's different now...I just...I just don't feel happy anymore, not like in the pass...something is missing.

- Kaoru? – Sasuke said.

- Huh? – I said.

- You were spacing out. – Sasuke stated.

- Oh...sorry. – I said.

- What happened to you? – Sasuke asked.

- The same that happened to you. – I answered.

He looked at me shocked.

- Pain happened. – I said coldly.

- What exactly? – he asked.

- Sasuke...I just don't feel ready to tell you. I-I'm sorry. – I said looking down.

Then I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked up and Sasuke had a sympathy look.

- Don't worry. When you're ready we can talk. – he said calmly.

- T-Thank you. – I said with a weak smile.

Suddenly Naruto entered by the window.

- What are you doing here dobe? – Sasuke asked.

- Don't be mean to him! – I said.

Out of nowhere Naruto launches himself at Sasuke and somehow managed to tie Sasuke up.

- Got you! – Naruto said happy.

- Hahaha! Look at you all tied up! It's so funny! – I said laughing.

Suddenly I'm being pinned to the ground by a couple of Naruto's and being tied up as well.

- Naruto untie me! – I said.

- I'm sorry but I know that you would help him if I didn't tied you up. Now I can go meet Sakura-chan! – Naruto said transforming into Sasuke and left.

- Hahaha! Sasuke you're doomed. – I said and he glared at me.

- Oh don't be like that! Here let me take that off of your mouth. – I said and crawled up to him and took that thing off his mouth.

- Better? – I asked amused.

- Why aren't you mad at him? – Sasuke asked.

- Are you kidding me?! Did you see those Kage Bushins?! It's amazing, besides... - I said smirking and cut the ropes.

- I can untie myself. – I finished the sentence.

He looked at me surprised.

- Untie me. – he said.

I raised an eyebrow.

- Excuse me? – I said.

He sighed.

- Could you please untie me? – he asked.

- Now that wasn't so hard, was it? – I said amused and untie him.

- T-Thanks. – he said getting up.

I was looking at him amused.

- What? – he asked curious.

- Huh? What do you mean? – I asked.

- Why are you looking at me like that?! – he asked.

- Oh nothing! Just thinking about what Naruto is doing right now. – I said.

- It's Naruto, it's not like he will do much. – Sasuke said shrugging.

I smiled evilly.

- Didn't you heard him? He said he was going to see Sakura. – I said.

- So? – he said.

- Oh well, he's in love with her, don't know why but anyway, I'm pretty sure he's going to kiss her and well dear Sasuke your life after that will be...well...how do you think it's going to be? – I explained.

His eyes were wide open and showed pure fear.

- Hahahahaha! Your face is priceless! – I laughed.

He suddenly grabbed my hand and started running.

- You know...I CAN RUN! DON'T NEED TO DO THIS!!! – I said irritated and he just smirked.

- Stop smirking duckbutt! – I said and he glared at me.

We then stopped when we saw Sakura.

- Sasuke-kun, you're such a shy guy! Are you emotionally prepared? Because I am! – Sakura said.

I smirked evilly at him.

- Told you! Naruto did well! – I said amused and Sasuke just glared at me.

- And what are YOU doing with my Sasuke-kun?! – Sakura asked glaring at me.

I looked at her in an emotionless way.

- Huh? Yours? I don't see your name on him. – I said bored.

She just glared at me.

- Where's Naruto? – Sasuke asked Sakura.

- Forget about Naruto! All he does is pick quarrels with you. It's probably because he's had such an irregular childhood. Oh yeah, you know he doesn't have parents right? – Sakura said.

Sasuke became immediately tense and extremely cold hearing what she just said while I...well...

- He's always doing selfish things. My parents would scold at me if I do such things. If you're alone your parents wouldn't get mad at you. That's why he's so selfish. – Sakura said.

- Sakura. – I said looking down.

- WHAT?! – she asked irritated.

Without them notice I sped to her and kicked her in the abdomen.

- AHHHHH! – she screamed in pain going against a tree.

- W-What?... – she said trying to get up.

I was now looking in an evil way at her, Sasuke came to my side and put his hand on my shoulder...is he trying to calm me down? I'LL SHOW HER...wait...I have to remember what Itachi, Jiraiya-sensei and Tsunade-sensei said...I have to control myself or...my thoughts were interrupted by hearing Sasuke say.

- You can't even compare it to the level of where your parents get mad at you.

- W-What? – Sakura said weakly.

Sasuke got my hand and pulled me to star walking.

- S-Sasuke-kun.. – Sakura said.

We turned around, gave her an evil look and said in unison.

- You are...annoying.

She widened her eyes and we left.

- Let's find Naruto. – he said.

- Fine. – I said harshly.

- You're okay? – he asked.

- Great. Let's just find him. – I said not looking at him.

We were walking when we saw Naruto running towards us.

- Ahhh! W-Why are you guys here?! – Naruto asked.

- The technique to untie ropes. It's a basic. – Sasuke said.

- You're kidding right?! – I said.

- Huh? – Naruto said confused.

- Are you calling me a "technique to untie ropes"? Because I WAS THE ONE WHO UNTIED YOU! – I said irritated.

- Hahahaha! You couldn't untie yourself! – Naruto laughed at Sasuke.

- Why did you transform into me? – Sasuke asked Naruto.

I sighed...I told you why!

- Kage Bushin no Jutsu! – Naruto said.

Me and Sasuke looked up and there was 5 Naruto's in the air.

- Damn it, the Kage Bushins again. – Sasuke said.

- Why? Afraid of them? – I asked Sasuke amused.

- Hn. – he said with a smirk.

- I'm going to show you that I'm really great by defeating you. Prepare yourself! – Naruto said but something happened.

- My stomach's hurting again...BATHROOM! – Naruto said running.

- I'M GOING FIRST! – all the Kage Bushins said.

Me and Sasuke sweatdrop.

- Let's just leave him alone. The poor guy is having butt problems. – I said.

Sasuke nodded and we went to class.

*Moving to where they're waiting for their sensei*

Me and Sasuke were in our seats while Naruto and Sakura were standing.

- He's late. – Naruto said looking out the door to see if he could see anyone.

- Naruto, why don't you sit still?! – Sakura said.

- But why is the teacher for our group the only one late? All the other groups went somewhere with their new teachers. Even Iruka-sensei went home already! – Naruto said.

- That's not very important. – Sakura said.

Then I looked at Naruto and smirked.

- Hey, what are you doing Naruto?! – Sakura asked.

- It's his fault for being late. – Naruto said after preparing the prank.

- It's your own fault if you get in trouble. – Sakura said.

- Oh please Sakura. You're dying to see if our sensei falls on that prank. – I said.

- I....N-No! – she said.

I rolled my eyes.

- Hn. A jounin isn't going to fall for a plain old trap like that. – Sasuke said.

- Yeah! Naruto, you're stupid! – Sakura said.

I smirked sensing who was coming.

- You're the stupid ones, Naruto here is the smart one on this matter. – I said amused.

Then sensei "AKA" DAD entered the room and falls right onto the prank.

- Told you. – I mumbled.

- Huh? – Sasuke and Naruto said and looked at me.

- Why are you guys staring at me? – I asked.

- How should I say this...my first impression of you guys is...I hate you. Except Kaoru of course. – dad said.

I sighed.

- Could you guys stop looking at me like that?! I didn't know he was going to be our sensei. – I said getting up and going towards dad.

- You're late. – I said to him.

- Well, you know – he started but I interrupted him.

- Save it! I already know that story. – I said.

He laughed nervously.

- Could someone explain me what is happening? – Sakura asked.

- He's my dad. – I simply said.

- HEEE?! Really?! – Sakura said.

Dad nodded.

- I'll meet you on the roof. – he said and poofed.

I sighed.

I grabbed Naruto's and Sasuke's hand and looked at Sakura.

- See you at the roof! – I said smirking and poofed as well.

Dad looked at me and the guys and raised an eyebrow.

- Don't worry I didn't kill her.........yet. – I said casually which made him sigh.

- Kaoru-chan how did you do that?! – Naruto asked me.

- One day I'll teach you. – I said with a warm smile.

A couple of minutes passed and Sakura arrived.

- What took you so long? – I asked.

She glared at me.

I was sit with Sasuke on my left and Naruto on my right so Sakura decided to go to Sasuke's side.

- Let's begin. Why don't you introduce yourselves? – dad asked.

- What should we say? – Sakura asked.

- What you like, hate, dreams and hobbies. Something like that. – Dad explained.

How hard is it? It's a stupid introduction!

- Why don't you introduce yourself first sensei? – Naruto said.

- Me? I'm Hatake Kakashi. I have no intention of telling you my likes and dislikes, as for my dream...I have a few hobbies. – dad said.

I smirked.

- So all we found was his name. – Sakura said.

- Now your turn. You first. – dad said looking at Naruto.

- I'm Uzumaki Naruto. I like hanging out with Kaoru-chan, I like cup ramen but I like the ramen at Ichiraku's that Iruka-sensei and Kaoru-chan buy for me even more! I hate the 3 minutes that I have to wait after I put the hot water. My hobby is to eat and compare cup ramens! And my dream is...to become Hokage! I'm going to make all the villagers recognize my existence. – Naruto said.

Inside I just felt warm...he's been through so much and still smiles like that.

By the corner of my eye I see Sakura giving Naruto a sceptic look.

- Stop judging him, pinkie. – I said coldly to her.

- What?! – she said angry.

- I said stop judging Naruto inside your head. – I said looking at her.

- I wasn't doing such thing! – Sakura said.

- You're a terrible liar, pinkie. – I said.

- What did you call me?! – Sakura asked.

I sighed.

- Just stop judging him. He's better than you will ever be. – I said.

- IN WHAT?! – Sakura asked with an arrogant tone.

- Kindness, strength, sweetness, working hard...let's just say everything. – I said.

- YOU – Sakura started but dad interrupted.

- Enough. Next. – dad said looking at Sakura.

- I'm Haruno Sakura! I like *looks at Sasuke*, well the person I like is *looks at Sasuke*. And my hobby is *squeals*, well my dream is *looks at Sasuke and squeals*. – she said.

.......really?!

- And what do you hate? – dad asked her.

- Naruto and Kaoru! – she answered.

- The feeling is mutual, pinkie. But...if you want to I can get that over with. – I said with a smirk.

- Kaoru, stop. – dad said looking at my clone that was now behind Sakura with a kunai.

- Huh? – Sakura said confused.

Dad pointed behind her and she turned around.

- Boo! – I said with an evil face.

- AHHHHHH! – Sakura screamed scared.

I sighed, what a team. I undid the clone.

- Kaoru please stop scaring her. Now, next. – dad said looking at Sasuke.

- My name is Uchiha Sasuke. There are many things that I hate and there aren't a lot of things that I like. – he said the last part looking at me but immediately went to his cold mode.

......weird....

- Also, I have an ambition that I have no intention to leave as just a dream. The revival of my clan and to...kill a certain man. – Sasuke said.

Great way to lighten up the mood.

Then I smirked.

- You know...if you "do it" with every single fangirl you have, you will revive the clan in a blink of an eye. – I said amused.

Naruto burst out laughing while Sakura and Sasuke glared at me.

- Alright...now. – dad said smiling and looking at me.

I sighed...I hate this.

- I like somethings, not many, like Naruto, Sasuke, dad, dangos, ramen. I hate lots of things and people as well. My hobbies...well training and reading. As for my dream... - I said that last part looking down and turning my hands into fists.

My dream...make sure that Pedo dies!

- As for my dreams you don't need to know. – I said.

Dad sighed.

- Alright you 4 have – and I spaced out.

My dream...is it just that?

What about after I manage to do that? What do I do?

- Kaoru! – I heard.

- Huh? – I said.

Everybody was looking at me.

- What? – I asked.

Dad sighed.

- See you guys tomorrow. Kaoru come with me, the Hokage wants to see you. – dad said.

- Ahh...okay then. Bye Sasuke, bye Naruto. – I said to them and poofed with dad.

*At the Hokage's office*

- You wanted to see me, Hokage-sama? – I said.

- Yes child. I wanted to give you something. – he said smiling.

I raised an eyebrow.

- It's not my birthday. – I said a bit coldly which made me receive an evil look from dad.

- Here child. – he said giving me a vest like dad's.

- Why are you giving me this? – I asked confused.

- Congratulations. You are officially a jounin. – the Hokage said.

I widened my eyes in surprise.

- W-What? – I asked shocked.

- You're a jounin. – the Hokage said still smiling and I grabbed the vest.

I bowed and said.

- Thank you...Hokage-sama.

I felt a hand patting my head.

I looked up and dad was smiling proudly.

- Congratulations. – dad said.

- Does this means that I won't be on my team? – I asked.

- No. You're still going to be part of team 7, but instead of a genin you'll be a jounin assisting your father in missions and also training the team. – the Hokage explained.

- Oh, I see. Thank you. – I said to him.

- You're welcome. You're dismissed. – the Hokage said.

With that we left.

- What about ramen as a gift for becoming a jounin? – dad asked and my eyes lighted up.

- Yes, please! – I said happy.

He gave me a closed eyed smile and we went there.

*At Ichiraku's*

- Nee...Otou-san? – I said.

- Yes? – he asked.

- What are we gonna do tomorrow? – I asked.

- A survival test. – he answered.

- Like the Fourth did to you and your team? – I asked.

- Exactly. – he said.

- So...what am I going to do? I know the purpose of the exercise and I'm a jounin now. – I asked curious.

- You'll be assisting me. – he answered.

- How so? – I asked with mouthful which made him sweatdrop.

- You will have a bell and I will have the other. – he explained.

- So they'll have to get one from you and one from me? – I asked.

- Precisely. – he said.

- So...what time are we supposed to be there? – I asked.

- 6 A.M. – he answered.

I raised an eyebrow.

- So 11 A.M. sounds good to me. – I said.

- I said 6 A.M. – he stated.

- For them, not for us. – I said.

He laughed nervously.

We were done eating and were now heading home.

- Well see you tomorrow. – he said.

- Bye, goodnight. – I said.

Tomorrow will be...interesting.
