Kaoru P.O.V

I started to open my eyes...where am I?

- Oh, you're awake. Are you okay sweetie? – a woman asked.

- Uh...y-yeah. Excuse me but...where am I and who are you? – I asked while sitting.

- I'm Tsunami, Tazuna's daughter and you are at my house. – she said smiling.

- I see. Thank you Tsunami-san. – I said politely.

- You're welcome sweetie. – she said.

- Look, Kaoru-chan is up! – Naruto said coming in.

They all entered and Sasuke came to my side and looked intensively at me....

- What? – I asked.

He sighed.

- Baka...don't be reckless. – he said looking the other way.

I blinked multiple times...was he...worried?

- Why isn't Kakashi-sensei awake as well? – Naruto asked.

- Huh? – I said confused and Sasuke pointed.

I looked to see dad at the other side of the room.

- I hadn't seen him there. – I said casually and I saw dad's eye twitch............LIAR!

- He's awake. – I said.

- No he's not! – Sakura said.

I looked at her bored.

- Oh really...YO DAD WAKE UP! – I said.

....................nothing.

- See! – she said cocky.

- Well...I'm gonna go and read his book too what's that about...I've always wondered what is in there. – I said amused.

- NO YOU WON'T YOUNG LADY! – dad said immediately.

- See, he's awake. – I said.

He tried to sit but I immediately said.

- You shouldn't move for a while, I'll heal you later. – I said.

- O-Okay. – he said and laid down again.

- Sensei's a liar. – Naruto mumbled.

I smirked.

- Something like that. – I said amused and dad glared at us.

- Nee...sharingan it's amazing but it puts a lot of strain on the body...maybe you shouldn't use it. – Sakura said.

- Yes, great idea Sakura and next time we all die! I love that way of thinking, what would we do without you?! – I said ironically.

She glared at me.

- You defeated such a strong ninja, we should be okay for a while. – Tazuna said.

Yeah...I don't think so.

- What's wrong? – Sasuke asked me.

- Huh? – I said coming back to reality.

- What were you thinking, Kaoru? – dad asked...he's thinking about it too.

- I think you know. – I answered.

- What's wrong? – Naruto asked.

- Pursuing ninja are supposed to eliminate the corpse on the spot. – dad stated.

- So? – Sakura asked.

- What did the boy with the mask do to Zabuza? – dad asked.

- How should we know?! He took Zabuza away. – Sakura said.

- Exactly, he only needs the head and also the weapon he used. – dad said.

- It was this. – I said showing them some needles of mine.

- Could it be? – Sasuke said.

- So you get it...if you throw this to a specific point on the body you can kill a person because it can hit a vital organ but it's very unlikely since the person has to have remarkable aim and knowledge, although if you do have what it takes you can also use this to put a person in a temporary death. Zabuza is still alive. – I said putting back the needles in my pouch.

- WHAT?! – Tazuna, Sakura and Naruto said.

- Please don't scream. – I said.

- BUT YOU CONFIRMED!!! – Sakura said looking at me.

- I said DON'T SCREAM!!!! And yes I did but as I explained if you are an expert you can hit a specific point to put the person on a temporary death state. – I said.

- Maybe you're thinking too much. – Tazuna said.

- No. She's right. Once a ninja feels that there's something weird he must prepare for it before it's too late. – dad said serious.

I looked at Naruto and he was all excited for Zabuza still being alive...he really is something else.

- Sensei...how are we going to prepare for this before it's too late? You can't move for a while. – Sakura said.

Dad started laughing...great, it got his head.

- I'm going to make all of you go through some training. – dad said.

- Wait, even if we train it's not going to be very helpful. The enemy is a ninja that you, Kakashi-sensei of the sharingan, had a difficult time with. – Sakura said.

- He's not alone in this fight. – I said bored.

- Sakura, who saved me when I had a difficult time? – dad asked.

She looked at me mad.

- Why are you mad at me? Aren't you alive? – I said.

- Tch! – she said angry.

- I can train you and even if I couldn't Kaoru there is capable to do so. As you all saw she has many abilities and can deal with more than one opponent. You are all growing...especially you, Naruto. You've grown the most. – dad said.

I smiled slightly at Naruto who was all happy to hear what dad said.

Sakura was looking at him with doubt.

- Are you doubting his abilities? – I asked Sakura.

- Huh? – she said confused.

- You're so clueless. – I said and got up.

- You're all stupid. – we heard.

- Huh? – we said and looked to see a kid.

- Who are you? – Naruto asked him.

- Inari! Where were you?! – Tazuna asked.

- I'm home grandpa! – the kid said.

- Inari! Say hello to them and be respectful. These are ninja that escorted grandpa. – Tsunami said.

- It's alright. I'm disrespectful to them too. – Tazuna said.

My eye twitched and I looked at dad.

- Please don't kill him. – dad mouthed.

- Tch! – I mumbled.

- Mom they're going to die! – Inari said.

- WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU BRAT?! – Naruto said.

So much noise.

- Listen up! I'm a hero that's going to become a great ninja known as Hokage! – Naruto said.

- A hero? How stupid. There's no such thing as a hero. – Inari said.

- WHAT DID YOU SAY?! – Naruto asked mad and was going towards Inari but Sakura stopped him.

- If you don't want to die you should go home. – Inari said.

With that he left.

I sighed. I went to dad's side and put my hands above his chest and my hands started to glow green.

- Shouldn't you rest a bit more before healing me? – dad asked.

- Don't worry, I'm gonna sleep after this. This way tomorrow at least you'll be able to move, but do NOT move today. – I said and continued healing him.

They were all looking at me amazed.

- You really are a sweetie aren't you? – Tsunami said nicely.

I smiled at her.

- Thank you, Tsunami-san. – I said.

- There all done. – I said.

- Thank you. – dad said.

- Wow, amazing! – Naruto said.

- You're really good. – Tazuna said.

- T-Thanks, I guess. – I said.

Sakura was now glaring at me but I ignored it.

- Now I'm going to sleep, where's my room? – I asked.

- Well, you can stay with – dad started but I interrupted him.

- Not Sakura, I'll kill her in her sleep and you know it I'll do it so it's better not be with her. – I said.

Dad sighed.

- Fine, Sasuke and Kaoru in one room and Naruto and Sakura on the other. Goodnight. – dad said.

- Goodnight. – I said and left but from the corner of my eye I see Sakura furious.

I entered the other room and went to the bathroom to get changed.

I was now ready and opened the door to see Sasuke...shirtless...I started to feel something coming out of my nose, I clean it with my hand and saw...blood...nose bleed.

Then I see Sasuke smirk.

- Like what you see? – he asked amused.

I widened my eyes and immediately shook my head and went to the bathroom again to clean my nose.

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?!

Do I ACTUALLY like him?! I mean...he's handsome and all but...do I like him more than just a friend?

I cleaned my nose and got out of the bathroom, Sasuke looked at me and smirked I could feel myself blushing madly.

- S-Stupid duckbutt. – I mumbled.

He was now staring at me.

- Do you need something, Sasuke? – I asked.

- N-No, why? – he asked.

- Because you don't stop staring at me. – I said and he started blushing a bit....time for my revenge!

- Do you like what you see? – I asked amused.

- N-NO! It's not that, I – he started and walked towards me but somehow he stumbled and fell.......ON TOP OF ME!!!

- U-Uhhh...S-Sasuke...y-you know.....YOU'RE HEAVY! How the hell did you stumble?! There was nothing there only your feet!!! – I said.

He was looking at me in the eyes...I was starting to blush.

- K-Kaoru I – Sasuke started but was interrupted.

- Sasuke-kun! Do you – Sakura burst in our room but stopped.

- Huh? – me and Sasuke said.

- AHHHHH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY SASUKE-KUN?! – Sakura screamed furious.

- First...DON'T SCREAM! Second, HE'S NOT YOURS! And third...CAN'T YOU SEE HE'S THE ONE ON TOP OF ME?! – I said irritated.

Tch! Who does she think she is?

Sasuke got off of me and helped me up.

- You...I HATE YOU! YOU'RE JUST A COLD HEARTLESS BITCH! – Sakura screamed.

I raised an eyebrow.

- What's going on? - dad said coming in worried and so did Naruto.

- I HATE YOU! YOU SHOULDN'T BE LOVED BY ANYONE! – Sakura said.

I narrowed my eyes at her.

- NOBODY LOVES YOU! I BET KAKASHI-SENSEI HATES YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE SO COLD TOWARDS EVERYONE AND WHERE IS YOUR MOTHER?! I BET SHE HATES YOU AS WELL! THEY SHOULD JUST KILL YOU OR SELL YOU! – Sakura screamed.

- SAKURA ENOUGH! – dad said mad.

- B-But. – Sakura said.

I ran out of there and went to the woods.

Sasuke P.O.V

- Kaoru wait! – Kakashi said but she didn't listen.

- Kaoru-chan. – Naruto said ready to go after her but Kakashi stopped him.

- She needs some time alone. – he said sad.

Naruto looked at Sakura completely mad.

- Why would you say those things?! What did she even do to you?! – Naruto asked Sakura.

- SHUT UP, YOU'RE ANNOYING! She doesn't deserve MY Sasuke-kun! – Sakura said.

- I'm not yours and you are the one that's annoying, so shut up. – I said to her coldly.

- Sakura go to your room...you went too far. – Kakashi said mad and sad.

She went completely mad.

- I'm gonna look for her. – Naruto said but once again Kakashi didn't let him.

- No...let her be alone for a while. Go to sleep, don't worry she'll be fine. – Kakashi said.

Naruto went to his room but mad.

Kakashi got out and I took the opportunity to leave and go look for her.

Kaoru P.O.V

I was crying uncontrollably....nobody loves me...my mom hates me...maybe dad hates me too and he's just pretending.

Why? WHY?! What did I do wrong?!

Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked up...Sasuke.

- P-Please...j-just g-go. – I managed to say still crying.

He didn't say anything he just sat down next to me and pulled me into a tight hug.

I widened my eyes...what is he doing?

- It's okay...I won't tell anyone, you can let it all out now, I'm here to hold you. – he said calmly.

..............and that's what I did, I cried until I had no more tear left, I let all the frustration go.

When I had no more tears we stopped hugging and just stood there in complete silence until...

- What she said isn't true. – Sasuke stated.

I looked at him.

- No...there's some truth in what she said. – I said sad.

- What do you mean? – Sasuke asked.

I looked at him...should I tell him and get this out of my chest?

- I won't tell anyone if that's what you're afraid of. – he said.

I looked down.

- A couple days ago, you asked me where I've been and what happened. – I started.

- Yeah...what about it? – Sasuke asked.

- I was sold by my mother to a guy... - I said, well...almost like whispered but I know he heard me because his eyes widened.

- What? – he asked shocked.

- For 3 years I've been with that person who... - I started but stopped.

Then I felt Sasuke's hand on mine.

- He tortured me, experimented on me...basically I was his rat, but one day I got out of there and trained with... - then I stopped I can't tell him about Itachi.

- With who? – he asked.

- With some people I met on the way. – I said.

- Who was this guy? – he asked.

- Orochimaru, one of the Sannins. – I said.

- And your father? – Sasuke asked.

- He had nothing to do with it...as soon as he found out he arrested my mom and looked for me. – I explained.

- There's more... - he said and I nodded slightly.

- The day we graduated I went to prison with dad to see her. – I said.

- What happened? – he asked.

- She told me that I should have died and that she never loved me...so Sakura is right. – I said getting up but he got up as well and grabbed my wrist.

- She might be right about your mother but not about the rest, Kaoru. – he said serious.

- And how do you know that?! – I asked coldly which surprised him.

- Your father loves you and you know it. You should have seen him when you passed out, he was devastated and went crazy thinking that you were dying. – he explained.

- H-He was? – I asked.

- Yes and what about the dobe? He also cares about you the day you punched Sakura and even just now he defended you and... - Sasuke explained.

- That...what if they're just pretending like my mother was? – I whispered.

- They're not, and...you also have me. – he said quietly.

- You...why? – I said looking down.

- Huh? – he asked confused.

- Why?! What about me?! I'm nothing special, no one cares, my mother sold me and hates me! Why would a person like you care about a cold heartless person like me?! – I said looking at him.

- Because I like you! – he said.

I widened my eyes.

- W-What? – I said quietly.

- I said I like you more than just friends. – he said getting closer.

- You...you're just pitying me... - I said not believing him.

I don't want somebody to pretend they like me and then they go away...I can't handle that.

He put his hand on my cheek and started caressing it.

- I'm not...I do care about you. I like you. – he said looking into my eyes.

.....he's not lying...he......he likes me....and.......I like him too.

- Do you? – he asked.

- Huh? – I said confused.

- You were spacing out again weren't you? – he asked with an eyebrow raised.

I nodded embarrassed and he chuckled...wow.......he's so......cute!

- Do you like me? – Sasuke asked getting even closer of my face.

- Uhh....S-Sasuke. – I said blushing.

- Please answer. – he begged even closer.

- Y-Yes...I do like you...more than just friends. – I said and he...he.......he SMILED! A real smile! I was shocked and amazed.

- Good because than this would be weird. – he said.

- Huh? – I said confused but then his lips touched mine.

I closed my eyes and savored the moment, our lips moved in sync like they were made for each other. I was so happy and my stomach had butterflies all over and then in need of air we stopped.

- Wow. – we whispered in unison which made me blush and look the other way but he put his index finger below my chin and made me look at him.

- Would you be my girlfriend? – he asked with a small smile.

- Y-Yes. . I said embarrassed and he kissed my forehead which made me blush.

He's so sweet.

- We should go back and sleep a bit you look tired. – he said grabbing my hand and I just smiled warmly and nodded.

With that we went home.

Kakashi P.O.V

Kaoru and Sasuke were now going home.

I hope that he makes her happy and doesn't hurt her...she already went through enough. Maybe they can help each other...and well apart from that they do look cute together.

I smiled.

Unless he hurts her, then I'll eliminate the chances of him restoring his clan!

......Oh well, I shouldn't even be up...let's just go home.
