Ch_12

Mr. Mahmud's P.O.V.

When my P.A. informed me of his early arrival, I told him to call Ruhaan to meet me.

Hearing me, he smirked but tried to make me reconsider my decision so I told him "I know what I am doing."

I need Ruhaan now and as anyway he never got doubt on me. I didn't let that happen. The only man he assumed to be at fault partially, I got rid of him in Ruhaan's satisfactory way.

Like a fool, he helped me in my plan as if he was my man also.

For him, I got the chance to separate them. And this time I will break their bond in such a way that it will never be mended.

He will be totally lonely then and who knows he might end his life all by himself. I won't need to do anything by myself.

That time I didn't let him die as I was in need of him. I made him devoted in business by emotionally blackmailing.

But if this time my plan works, then his survival will be of no use to me. He can do whatever he wants.

I just need to make him busy. For that I have made up a plan and I know it will work for sure.

My chain of thought got break when my P.A. entered my cabin after knocking.

He was smirking and I knew what it meant.

"Send him in"

"Yes, sir"

With a nod, he left my cabin.

After few minutes, he entered my cabin and greeted me.

I got up from my chair and went up to him while thinking in my mind, "Show time starts now."

"Ruhaan, my son. How are you?"

Without answering, he smiled sadly looking at me.

I directed him to the sofa and said "Come. Sit here."

While taking a seat he asked me, "Is everything alright, uncle? Why did you call me urgently?"

Of course everything is alright. What will happen to me!! And why did I call you?

I need to use you again, you fool. But I can't say this to you, right?

"Why? Can't I call you to meet me? You don't come to meet me on your own. So I thought of calling you." I said making a sad face.

I know he is buying the show for sure.

Making my thought come true, he replied "I didn't mean that, uncle."

With a smile, I said, "l know. Would you like to take something like tea or coffee?"

"No, uncle."

"Ruhaan, I was thinking of you both. You should settle down now."

Hearing me, he got dumbstruck.

I knew it will happen.

So I continued.

"Ruhaan, I know it's not easy for you. But you both have to move on. I can't let you both destroy your lives such this way in front of my eyes. What will I answer them? I am feeling unworthy to be called..."

With a sad face, I stopped talking without completing my word.

Ruhaan remained silent looking at the floor blankly.

Come on, Ruhaan. Go for it. Without you, I can't do it easily.

If you don't help me, I have to adopt other ways. That won't be good for you.

Though I don't care about it but...

My chain of thought got interrupted when Ruhaan said what my ear exactly wanted to hear.

"Uncle, I know what you are worried about. It won't happen. Don't worry."

Saying this, he got up and left my cabin after greeting me.

I remained there smirking...

So it worked. I knew it.

Poor boy..!!

Ruhaan's P.O.V

Coming out of the building of Mahmud Industries, I walked upto the park which was just across the road. Entering the park I sat on the bench where we once used to sit and gossip while looking at the beautiful surroundings.

My eyes got watery as some memories made their way to my mind.

Like as usual that day I got here in this park sometime before sunset and they were silently sitting on the bench.

Seeing them like that, I wondered why those two crazy persons were not doing their routine work.

Their Tom and Jerry fight..

So being curious, I asked them, "You both aren't behaving normal today. What happened? Is everything alright?"

Then they started their stealing glances game. Those two crazies were looking at each other then me..again at each other then me...

Something was really fishy. Okay. That's it...

When I was about to say something again, Titly poked him.

He then glanced at me for once then looked back at Titly and nodded as No.

With a sigh in defeat, Titly uttered, "Okay fine".

Giving him a death glare, she stood in front of me straight.

"Actually, vai.."

Titly got startled when He joined her.

He stared at Titly for once and smiled.

Then he looked at me. Looking at me, his smile turned to nervousness. I saw him gulping.

I really had no clue what was happening actually.

So being impatient and worried, I asked again, "What's happening here? Will you please tell me something?"

He then finally spoke up, "We love each other, Vai."

I got shocked and asked, "May be I heard you wrong. What did you just say?"

Titly then came ahead and said, "It's true, Vai. We love each other. But we didn't do anything wrong. You know us, right? And I won't do anything to go against you. I just I wanted to tell you how I feel. It hasn't been that long. You know I don't hide anything from you. So I thought of telling you first."

I was really dumbstruck. It was not the case that I got angry with them hearing this. It's just that I couldn't believe it was happening.

Then getting myself together, I sarcastically asked her "Titly, are you done, sweetie?"

She glared at me understanding my sarcasm but got normal instantly as per the demand of situation and asked me, "Are you not angry or upset with me?"

"Absolutely not. Do you both know something, it has been the wish of our family to get you bonded since a long? But watching you quarreling everytime you meet, our hope disappeared in the thin and we even didn't think of talking to you regarding this. And look today you both all by yourself ended up making the longed wish come true. Everyone will be so happy. You guys can't even imagine."

Being in nine clouds I talked non stop and I didn't even realize before he pointed out it.

"Now you look like Titly's brother."

That was it. They started again likewise.

Glaring at him, Titly asked, "What did you just say?"

I started laughing seeing the condition of him and sat comfortably to watch the regular Tom and Jerry show which I knew would take a good time to finish.

But I was extremely happy then.

I came back to earth when it already started to become dark around like my life.

Though lights were lit there to make the park bright and clear instantly but no ray entered in my life to make me a hope for future.

Tears was threatening to come out any moment and when I didn't bother, they automatically made their way.

I remained sitting there till late then walked up to the Mahmud industry again to get my car.

Hopping in the car, I started driving towards my place. I was in need of my gym to calm me.
