Ch 8- We Meet Again 2

ALEXANDER'S POV

It's been a month since Uncle Mateo talked to me about choosing a queen. Mom had already made a list of all princesses across the nations to find a suitable type for me. Well don't get me wrong I like the effort she is putting to find me a queen but I want to choose a girl who doesn't crave power, who is smart enough to be my helping hand in all the fields. I want a girl who understands both me and my three beasts. I don't want a fragile soul nor a spoiled brat, I want a girl who is capable of defending herself whether it is in terms of speaking or fighting. A girl who wasn't born with a crown but the one who can earn the crown of my queen.

"Hey babe, what have you thought about my proposal?" here comes the annoying brat Brittany. Wow even her name matches with brat. She is a demon princess of the pride kingdom. I have had a few flings with her but never a relationship. I try to avoid her as much as I can because we all know she is trying to get the throne and power and nothing else.

"There is nothing to think about it I have already told you that you are not fit to be my queen. Now leave before I throw you out." I was getting annoyed by each passing second just because of her.

"Oh come on love, we both know how much you want me. Just say the word and make me yours." She tried to touch me but I grabbed her wrist and twisted it behind her back I have had enough of her and if it was one of my beasts in control they wouldn't waste a second before snapping her neck.

"Stop calling me by stupid names and listen carefully, you were nothing but a time pass to me, I said it once and I repeat it for the last time YOU ARE NOT FIT TO BE MY QUEEN SO THE NEXT TIME YOU ENTER IN MY PALACE, MY KINGDOM MAKE SURE TO ENTER AS A GUEST AND NOTHING ELSE OR YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR LIFE THE VERY SECOND." I was raging by now. "Do you understand me?" she only whimpered and that angered me more, "I ASKED DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" it was no less than a command. She let out a small 'yes' and I released her, "now get out of my sight" she scrambled out of my office crying in pain.

My beasts were already trying to gain control of my body so that they can kill her but I couldn't let that happen her father was one of our allies and I couldn't wage a war over a pathetic excuse of a princess, so to calm them I shifted and went in the forest for a run.

As I am a tribid I have two forms, one , my lycan form in which it shows that I even have vampire blood in me as my eyes turn into a mix of red and golden and my canines become extra sharp and pointy. The second is my demon form in which my human body increases in its size and my wings emerge from my back. They are bat like and black in colour, whereas my body becomes a light shade of red. You will be able to see black colour veins on my entire body. It sometimes looks more dangerous than my lycan form but not that I mind.

I continued running in the forest when suddenly my beta Marcus tried to mind-link me. I put down my walls and granted him permission to enter my mind,

"Alpha we have captured a human who wandered deep in the forest" like I said before humans don't usually wander deep in the forest but you never know what happens.

"Well, let the human go they don't mean any harm to us"

"But Alpha she said that she could see the castle." That caught my attention. Only supernatural species can see the castle as for humans they can't due to the witch spell.

"Hmm, keep her with you I am coming right away." With that I closed the mind-link and headed straight towards the castle.

When I arrived my gamma Asher was already waiting there with my clothes.

"Did you find anything strange about the human?"

"No Alex, she smells like a human and told that she was running away from some people and got lost in the forest. When she started heading towards the castle Marcus told the guards to surround her, she said she could see the castle and wanted to ask if she could stay till the morning." He explained to me everything and it was quite strange for a human to be here. I told him to leave and that I could handle it form here.

As I was heading towards my office when I smelt a familiar scent, even my beasts retreated to the front of my mind to reach the source of the smell. I started to follow it and it lead me to my office where Marcus was waiting for me with the human.

As I opened my office door I was bombarded with that heavenly scent and it was much stronger than before which means the source of that smell is here. After the smell that caught my attention was a small human girl sitting on one of the chairs and checking out my office. Just as I tried to recall her I realized she was the same girl who crashed into me a month ago. Talk about coincidence.

I guess she realized that I have arrived because she looked directly at me and Damn, she took my breath away. The other day I was not able to see her properly but let's say she is just angelic. Her hair was as soft looking as the other day and her eyes they were a gorgeous grey colour and looked marvelous. She had a cute button nose and plush pink lips. We were both bought out of our daze when Marcus cleared his throat.

"Hmm if I remember correctly I guess we have met once." I tried to look as less bothered by the interruption as I could.

"Yeah we did but it wasn't the best way to meet." She said and for the first time in forever my beasts purred at a voice. What in the hell is going on?

"You are right I apologize for that but first let's talk about your arrival shall we."

"So miss.." I didn't know her name "Amber" her heartbeat increased a bit when she told her name which means its fake. Hmm one more reason to doubt her identity as a human.

"Well so miss Amber you were able to see the castle am I correct?"

"Of course I was and I am still able to." She tried to remove as much as sass as she could from her voice but I still detected it. Oh how much me and my beasts would love to tame that pretty little mouth of hers.

Oh my God I need to get my head out of the gutter right now or I will do something which I am not sure I will regret or not.

"Very well you will be staying here for sometime miss.Amber please make yourself comfortable."

"No I don't want to stay here, I said I was just passing by, I don't mean any harm." She said with panic lacing her voice.

"No need to panic yourself Miss.Amber you will not be harmed till you are here we just want to confirm something and then you will be free to leave." I said in a calm tone.

"But..." before she could say anything I interrupted her, "Marcus please show Amber to her room."

"And by the way you can call be Brian." I thought giving my second name to her will be much better after all she was a guest for a few days so why not.

Now I just need to find out what you are hiding Amber.
