Ch 3- Escape

CYNTHIA'S POV

It has been a week and I am still in this cell. Everyday a guard comes with a plate of food and a glass of water even though many said I was the killer of my parents the guard who was outside didn't believe so. I remember I had a short conversation with him on the fourth day maybe,

Flashback

"Hey, what's your name?"

"It's Caleb dear princess." Princess that word was not appropriate to use when I had such severe accusations on me, just as I was about to say that I am no princess, he bowed his head again and said, "everyone can believe whatever they want to but I have faith in you your highness, many people in the palace know that you were played and we all will stand with you whenever you need us by your side", he then removed a small cell phone from his pocket and handed it over to me, "the former King and Queen's funeral was held on the day you gained your consciousness , I have recorded it for you after all you had every right to be present there". With one last bow of his head he felt me alone with my thoughts and this small cell phone.

I switched on the phone and went to the videos section , mom and dad's funeral video was the recent, I clicked on it and the video started. I couldn't stop the tears that were flowing from my eyes, I saw one by one many people came and gave their consoles to Anna .

End of Flashback

Just as I was thinking about the video I had noticed something that was very strange, Victor Abiscer the crown prince of the Nethilor kingdom was standing close to Anna , very close to privacy if I may add. We never had good relations with him or his family and to think that he was trying to console Anna the princess of Zariya was definitely strange.

I was already tired with everything going around that I fell asleep again, it was one of the worst sleep I ever had but I couldn't do anything about it.

As I was silently sitting at the corner in my cell I heard a bell being ringed out , if I remember correctly it was to inform the soldiers that there was meeting to be held urgently and like expected all the soldiers went out, I sat there thinking about what to do when suddenly someone entered from the door , the women had worn a black cloak so I couldn't see her face, I was about to ask her who she was when she suddenly removed her cloak by herself and there stood my aunt Rose.

"Oh my child" she ran towards me and enveloped me in a tight hug , she was a crying mess and why wouldn't she be? She had lost her sister and brother in law and the blame was on her elder niece.

"Aunt Rose I didn't...." she didn't let me complete my sentence and started hers, "I know you didn't do anything I am sure it's your sister behind all this , but we will talk about all that later, here.." she took out some money , a ticket and a bag of clothes and handed them over to me " you can't prove yourself innocent if you stay trapped behind these bars , go and catch a flight to London, I have a cell phone hidden in it I have saved mine and your uncles number , once you reach London contact me, now go before anyone else sees you"

I don't know how but I started moving on my own , I entered the crystal cave it was like a tunnel connecting the humans with us , it was rarely used by us and as for the humans it appeared an endless dark and scary cave so no one ever tried to cross it.

When I passed the cave I knew I was not returning back without collecting evidences against my sister and her fuck buddy. How strange we both grew up together I don't know anymore whether she ever actually cared for our parents cuz if she ever did ,she wouldn't have been able to kill them so easily.

But I know one thing for sure I will return back to my people , my palace and my kingdom and punish every person who was responsible for the destruction happening and happened in my life.

I boarded the plane to London just on time , it was a 7 hours journey so I knew I could take rest , well but how can anyone rest if it's their soul that's tired. Betrayal, pain, hurt were the thing on my mind before I fell into a deep slumber.

"Sweetheart wakeup" I heard a really sweet voice shake me while saying so, lazily I yawned and rubbed my eyes and took in my surroundings I was still on the plane and the voice was of an elderly woman who was beside me "you were sleeping peacefully that I didn't want to wake you up but dear we have landed"

I thanked her for her kindness and got down from the plane and getting out of the airport my next mission was to find a place to stay , the amount of money my aunt gave me was high so I decided to stay in a decent looking hotel until I don't get a job .

My muscles were sore and mind was exhausted I jumped on the comfy looking bed and went to sleep , hopefully from tomorrow I will start a new chapter of my life not as a princess but as a worker.
