Ch 7- We Meet Again 1

CYNTHIA'S POV

The guy whose name I learnt is Marcus took me towards the office of his leader, so right now I am sitting in the office and waiting for the person to arrive and grant me permission to leave.

I was getting bored so I started observing the room it was all black in colour and gave out the vibes of authority. It had a book shelf on one end and on according to how much I could see clearly the owner of the shelf like criminal cases and some fictional history books. Fictional, well according to many humans even I am fictional. There are many other different species like werewolves, lycans, vampires, witches, warlocks, fays, trolls, goblins, and what not but I have met only a few.

I remember when I was six we went on a trip to madagascar. I wasn't much aware of the supernatural world back then. I was obsessed with the moon since I was kid so that day I went and sat outside in the yard so that I could get a better view of the moon. I was playing there when I felt something move around me. I got up and looked around but couldn't find anything, as I moved to get in the farm house we were staying in, I saw a black shadow come closer to me. I was so scared that my legs were rooted to the ground and that scary looking shadow passed through me and then I fainted. I woke up with a massive headache and tones of nightmares that I remember till this day. My mom and dad said that I was sleeping for nearly 10 days and every time they tried to wake me I just screamed in sheer terror. A shiver ran down my spine as I recalled the memories.

I got so carried away with all the supernatural species that I didn't realize the owner of the office had arrived , I turned on my seat to see who this leader was and well I would say it was a game of destiny.

Front of me was the same god like person who I crashed into the other day and god did he look extra handsome today. His hair was slightly messy but that didn't reduce his beauty but instead made him extra Inhumane. I didn't realize I was gawking at him until Marcus cleared his throat. Wow talk about first impression. Now this guy will think of me as some impatient whore trying to get another guy.

"Hmm if I remember correctly I guess we have met once." Damn even his voice was heavenly. Idiot! Snap out of your thoughts, you have more important things to do. My sub conscious reminded me on the right time.

I quickly composed my self and put on a passive mask, "Yeah we did but it wasn't the best way to meet." I said.

"You are right I apologize for that but first let's talk about your arrival shall we." I just nodded my head in response.

"So miss.." oh he doesn't know my name "Amber" I replied.

"Well so miss Amber you were able to see the castle am I correct?" what is with these people and them constantly questioning me about my eyesight.

"Of course I was and I am still able to." I tried to remove as much as sass I could from my tone.

"Very well you will be staying here for sometime miss.Amber please make yourself comfortable."

"No I don't want to stay here, I said I was just passing by, I don't mean any harm." I couldn't stop the panic that was laced in my voice.

"No need to panic yourself Miss.Amber you will not be harmed till you are here we just want to confirm something and then you will be free to leave." He said in a calm tone.

"But..." I was rudely cut off by my new God like captor, "Marcus please show Amber to her room."

I gave up fighting and got up to go with Marcus just as I was about to exit the room his voice interrupted,

"And by the way you can call be Brian." I gave him a nod and left the room.

Brian, not bad.

Marcus took some left and then some right and then straight and then I got way too bored to see where we are going so I just followed Marcus like a lost puppy.

"This is your room, if you need anything just press the button the right side of your bed." And with that he left me in my new room.

It was a crème colored room and it looked amazing , simple and beautiful. The bed was covered with a lot of pillows, hmm soft bed and a lot of soft pillows and perfect cozy blanket to snuggle with, is just heavenly.

I opened the closet and it was filled with clothes. I checked the size and saw it was a little bigger than mine but no worries it's about time I will get out of here.

I quickly took a shower and changed into one of the shirts and sweatpants and went and sat near the windowsill. The night was still young and looked hypnotizing due to the beauty of the moon.

I sat there for sometime and eventually my eye lids started getting heavy so I went to bed and snuggled deep under the covers and fell into a peaceful slumber after a long time.
