chapter 10

I have run away from him,but i don't know where to go now. I don't have any friend in delhi. No home, no family and.. no degrees . As Adrian has burnt them of jealousy.

THE INCIDENT ,

'Ting ,tong', the door bell rang.

'Who will be there ,at this time?'' Adrian said while getting up from the sofa.

When he opened the door,he found a boy of 25 years something standing at the gate . He was asking him ,who he was. Then Ella came from kitchen and the boy looked at her with a smile and said,''Hi , Ella .It's me Ryan . Ella saw him and came to the gate. Ryan then told confused Adrian about him ,''Actually ,we are college friends and i have held a reunion party for my all colleagues and Ella is the special one because she is our topper.''

Adrian was uncomfortable with Ryan's arrival at his home that for his wife. But for knowing more about Ella's college life and her friends' list ,he welcomed him inside and asked Ella to bring juice for him

Ella knew that Adrian will doubt on her for her friendship with a boy but they were more brother and sister than friends . She went inside the kitchen .

''So ,Ryan tell me more about your college life and how did you get my address?'' Adrian asked.

''I got it from Ella 's home. We are family friends also.'' Ryan told him.

''oh !her parents also know you''.Arjun asked.

''Ya,very well .Actually we went to a tour together and i loved them.They think of me as their son.''Ryan told him with a smile.

Adrian was now becoming restless . He thought that Ella had cheated on him by keeping a secret about his male friend. And the way , Ryan was calling his wife '. Then,Ella came and served juice . She stood herself by Adrian's side. Ryan thanked her and said ,'' You seemed to be totally changed Ella. You are behaving as if i am a stranger.''

''No , No I have not changed . You have forgotten about my behavior''Ella said slowly.

''You must be following your passion of becoming a professor. Are n't you?''.

''No i am a housewife now .There is no need of mine to do a job.We have plenty of resources.''Ella said while looking at Adrian who was watching her from the corner of his eyes.

''It was your passion , now you are connecting it with money! Seriously you are changed now . You have so many degrees and certificates . I always think of you as a role model for everyone you wanted to live an independent life .But''Ryan said with sad expressions on his face.

''Ok, i am also here. you both are ignoring me .''Adrian said.

''no, it's not like that . Now i have to leave . I have to invite others also .Bye Ella''.

''ok , bye ''.Adrian and Ella went to the gate with him .

After closing the door, Adrian directly went into the room . Ella followed and asked him what happened. Adrian shouted at her ,''Why are you following me now .Go with him,with your bestie .you both are so close and I m a third person in your lives. right?''

''Why do you always doubt me ? We were classmates only . I was the topper , so he used to take lessons from me ''.

''love lessons ? you are his role model .Wait ,it's a plan of leaving me .you love your degrees more than anything right? I will destroy them , will destroy the reason of him referring to you his role model'' Adrian said this and walked towards the wardrobe.

''no Adrian , please . I love you more than everything .They are my hard work's result .Please don't destroy them .''

But Adrian took the file out and locked Ella in the room. Ella kept shouting from the window . But he burnt them all .And while laughing said,''Now you have no other option than me . you are gonna love me only me. you heard it Ella ''

Ella fell on the floor and cried as all her dreams and hard work were now only ashes.

''TICKET, TICKET '' conductor asked Ella.

''Here it is ! .How long will it take to reach Delhi? '' Ella said.

''About 1 hour .'' Conductor told her.

The outer world is so beautiful . He kept me inside the house . now i am free . But what will happen when he will find that i am alive . He will again take me to the hell and will torture me more .

Ella fell asleep while thinking about Adrian . After an hour the conductor ,woke her and said they have reached delhi .

BUT THE CHALLENGES WERE WAITING FOR ELLA THERE. AND SHE WAS READY TO FIGHT WITH THEM.
