The Inescapable Marriage

Ella woke up and hurriedly went for a bath . She wore a pink dress and applied light makeup .She didn't spare herself a look in the mirror for she knew that would only kill her self esteem more. There used to be times when she would love seeing her reflection . But it all changed .

She then directly went to the kitchen and started preparing breakfast . She better knew the routine and didn't want to mess up anything .This was her regular job . Even with a degree in economics she sometimes felt she actually had a degree in home science . She knew nothing about kitchen and these chores but life taught us everything .

she laid the table beautifully and with perfection. Yes this word held a high degree in this house . She was busy in her task and then she heard 

Adrian shouting her name from the bedroom,"Ella !".

The jar left from her hands and broke . The house was too silent and his voice shook her. She ran upstairs cursing her .His voice always scared her . She would clean the floor later .

Adrian was in his bed,it meant he had just woken up . She went close to him. Her clothes were wet from the breaking of jar.

He held her hands and said,"I asked you to wake me up when you get up." She nodded."So did you ?" She controlled the need to flinch at his words.

Ella stood still with her eyes facing the ground . He stood and kissed her .

She looked at his face.It was all calm .The anger was hidden. For sometime though , she felt safe at this moment ..

"I forgot.I am sorry." she whispered.

He hugged her and smiled.She replied to the polite behavior with a genuine smile.For she did not know if he was really being good with her or just pretending.

She tried to be out from his arms that were around her but he was reluctant to leave her.

She told him," I have to prepare breakfast.You will be late."

Adrian then let her go and himself went for a bath. He would never disturb his routine .

She went downstairs , her breathing was irregular . He must be trying to nice to her after last night . But she knew it won't last more than a day .

After exactly 20 minutes, Adrian came down .He was wearing a black shirt . His black eyes  sparkled when he saw everything on the table was laid with perfection. He had his breakfast and kissed Ella ,then left for his office.

Now Ella was all alone in the big mansion which was surrounded by trees from back and had a beautiful garden in the front. The mansion also had a pond in it's front . It was so big that she hadn't seen the all rooms . It was only a month of her marriage . She had lived a middle class life . The money , house and charm blinded her.

She remembered the day when Adrian's proposal came to her home.

They all were in shock because he was the same person who had won' BEST BUSINESSMAN OF THE YEAR' award. They all were so happy .But she didn't know that her faith had something for her. In this big mansion only she and Adrian lived. There was no other house around it. 

The guards also remained at the main gate.  She had talked to her parents but only once that for 5 minutes . She didn't have phone . 

The windows were always kept closed.Her days usually passed inside the house without any sunlight exposure. If she had known it earlier she would have run to another place leaving this man on the first day of their meeting.

But no.She said yes.Married him.Kept silence .

And now

SHE WAS STRUCK IN AN INESCAPABLE MARRIAGE.....
