Chapter 9

On returning home, the car was passing through the hilly road . The road was slippery because of the snowfall . Adrian was talking to Ella about his family planning. And that tonight it will be the best night.

Ella was not interested in all these things . After the 'rape' , she didn't want Adrian to touch her. But unwillingly acted as if she was feeling shy. Then she rested her head on the seat and closed her eyes. some boys when saw Ella , they first stared at her . This irritated Adrian and he drove fast. BUT they also sped up their car and started commenting;

"OH!SEE A YELLOW ANGEL!!" one of the guy commented .

"HER HUSBAND IS SO BORING, THIS MADE HER SLEEPY. HAHAHA...." The other boy laughed

Ella opened her eyes and looked at those boys. They started giving her more comments.

Adrian's anger reached its peak. How could he see his wife being harassed by someone that too in front of him. He wanted to stop the car but Ella insisted on going . He wanted to teach those boys a lesson . So increased his car's speed, so as they did . He started changing the lane in which the car was moving that with high speed . They also followed him . But according. to the plan , he slowed down his speed and tuned right whereas the boys 's car slipped because of snow and hit the tree.

Adrian was laughing and was looking at them , then suddenly he noticed a truck approaching them .He turned left but it resulted in falling of the car in the forest which was on the both sides of the road. The car was totally destroyed and Adrian fell unconscious whereas Ella fell out of the car.....

AFTER 1 HOUR:

Adrian opened his eyes and saw doctors and police around him. He was in the hospital bed . Then suddenly he remembered the accident and Ella . Where was she?

"WHERE IS MY WIFE ? IN ANOTHER WARD ? I WANT TO MEET HER. IS SHE ALRIGHT? Adrian shouted at the doctor.

"SIR PLEASE CALM DOWN , YOU HAVE A HEAD INJURY . PLEASE SIR , WE WILL TELL YOU EVERYTHING." Doctor said with patience.

"BUT WHERE IS MY WIFE?" Adrian again asked.

To this the policeman answered,"SIR ACTUALLY WHEN WE REACHED THE ACCIDENT SPOT, WE FOUND YOU AND YOUR DAMAGED CAR ONLY. BUT YES, WE HAVE ALSO FOUND THIS PIECE OF A YELLOW CLOTH STUCK TO THE DITCH'S ROCKY WALL. WE SEARCHED FOR YOUR WIFE BUT COULDN'T FIND HER. PROBABLY , SHE MUST HAVE FALLEN INTO THE DITCH".

"NO, NO . SHUT UP. SHE CAN'T DIE. I WILL NOT LET HER DIE. NO , THIS CAN'T BE TRUE." Adrian shouted while crying.

The doctors advised him to be calm but he wanted to go to that spot. After investigation, they couldn't find out her body and told him that she must have fallen into river and her body would have now cut into pieces by dams in the way . So Adrian should now forget her. As she has died.

Her family also got the news and everyone cried at their misfortune.

Adrian broke contact with everyone and regretted on his action....

" EXCUSE ME , BUT YOU HAVEN'T TOLD ME WHERE YOU WANT TO GO . HOW WILL I GET TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING?" Said the taxi driver.

"please , anywhere but out of this city . " Ella said in a hurry.

" FIRST OF ALL I THINK YOU NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL . YOU ARE INJURED ." TAXI DRIVER SAID.

"NO , I AM OK . YOU PLEASE START THE CAR". Ella Said

"OK MAM, I AM TAKING YOU TO THE BUS STAND , THEN YOU WILL DECIDE WHERE YOU HAVE TO GO. " TAXI DRIVER.

" YA , OK THEN." Ella replied

1 AND A HOUR BEFORE:

"OH MY GOD !ADRIAN , ADRIAN ARE YOU OK? OH !NO I THINK HE IS UNCONSCIOUS . I SHOULD CALL POLICE".

"BUT WAIT ELLA, HE IS OK. AND WHEN HE WILL BE BACK ON HIS SENSES , U HAVE TO GO TO THE HELL AGAIN ,WHERE ONLY TORTURE AND PAIN IS WAITING FOR U. GOD HAS GIVEN U A CHANCE OF ESCAPING. NEITHER YOUR FAMILY'S IMAGE WILL BE DAMAGED NOR HE WILL FOLLOW U AGAIN IF HE WILL THOUGHT THAT U HAVE DIED."

Then Ella tore one side of her dress and dropped her blood on it. She then stuck it to the sliding side of the ditch .AND RAN AWAY FROM HER FEAR , PAIN , ABUSE AND CAGE.

She believed as if she was given a new birth by god.

"mam, the stop has come .and it's Rs. 80 according. to the meter.": driver

"thank u ,brother " Ella said.

She gave him her gold chain but the driver got shocked,"FOR 80 RUPEES ,WHY ARE YOU GIVING ME GOLD CHAIN."

"I DON'T HAVE MONEY. THIS IS A BAD TIME. PLEASE YOU HAVE IT."Ella said

"IT'S OK THEN , I DON'T NEED MONEY . YOU SEEM TO BE IN A TROUBLE . HAVE THESE 2000 Rs AND BOARD A BUS ."

"NO ,I CAN'T TAKE IT." Ella replied

"PLEASE YOU JUST CALLED ME A BROTHER AND NOW BECOMING A STRANGER. I KNOW YOU ARE IN A PROBLEM . MAY GOD FILL YOUR LIFE WITH HAPPINESS."

"THANK YOU . I WILL NEVER FORGET IT ."Ella cried .

She then boarded a bus to Delhi and said goodbye to the driver.

She is going to start a new life with a new individuality and name .

Coward and Mrs. Ella HAD DIED.....
